Don't go near this site. Have sent about 15 emails and only half answered. Funny enough it's the ones for phone number for complaints, emails for complaints that haven't been answered. Somehow they say they have let me open 2 accounts with the same email address. Don't know any other site that lets you do that. Supposedly my films I've baught are not on the same account bit speed over 2 accounts and there not helping me get to this other account. Only 20 quid up the spout because I can't watch them again. Hopeless bunch. Oh and takes ages to get a reply when you do. Stay away honestly.

Don’t believe the hype, you can rent absolute pump content with offers, but nothing worth watching, don’t waste your time registering for it. Vast majority of content is hugely underwhelming, anything good is the same price as a bigger more accessible platforms.

Sent an offer of 3 films 50% off so thought i would give it a go 1. Stillwater played well 2. Land kept switching back to begining (annoying but doable for £2 3. Back stabbing for beginners..will not play. Did all checks and contacted for refund £2.74 you would think i was after £100!! i did all checks asked and IT DOES NOT PLAY will stick to Rakutan and sky no hassle with them. Rubbish customer service.

I had a voucher to get a free rental so thought I would try the service out. Would not recommend, it is very laggy, kept having to pause to let it catch up, I have no issues with this on other streaming platforms before my WiFi is blamed. The film had no subtitles for the parts in Spanish. I had the subtitles turned on and they worked except for when you actually needed them. If you don't feel the film is ready or accessible for everyone maybe dont put it available. Honestly just stick to Netflix amazon or Disney plus.

So…the film I wanted to watch and rented DOES have subtitles according to the film details.
However…no information on how to actually turn the subtitles on!
My normal tv remote doesn’t work to do this as I would with terrestrial tv…how do you get it on a Chili Film…

On 8/2/2021 I ordered a rack of ribs and Salmon dinner. When i got home with the order, there were no sides and the ribs were charcoal (uneatable.) I call the restaurant right back. The person who answered the phone said the manager did not have the time to deal with this. You’ll have to call back. I did the next day the person on the phone said they will have the manager call me back. He also said i have to cut the new people slack. I never received a call. I called back and spoke with what he said was a manager. He could not find the order. I give him the order number. He said it doesn’t Exists. This is grap.

Sorry Chili but your 4k is pants.
I have very strong broadband connection and top range TV. 4k works perfectly on Amazon and Netflix.
I have rented a couple of movies on Chilli as they were meant to be 4k and Amazon only had HD. But the picture quality was like standard definition upgraded by my TV. Really dull and blured. Not even close to 4K.
What's annoying is I paid 20% more renting on Chilli. They can try and blame the TV and broadband, but as I say 4k works fine on everything else.
I like the platform and choice of movies but their tech is poor at the moment.

Bought 2 films. Has taken 2 days yo watch one. Still trying to get it to work to watch the 2nd one. Constant errors. We have a 350meg connection. Everything else works fine.
Will not be using chili again.
My film didn't play even though the trailer worked , I sent all the details they asked for and they said they are contacting hisense TV company. For past 4 weeks now I've been getting the same email "we are working on your problem watch this space " . Good customer service would have given me another credit to try. Will never use them again .

We ordered the beef nachos. The meat is horrible. We were not happy at all and over priced.They need to use hamburger instead of that beef meat they are using. It tasted bad. And I orderrd 2 orders of that bad meat. Won't ordrr them again.
This app used to work fine through my Samsung tv. I have bought 5 films via the app, all used to play fine. Now every time I try to watch a film the app crashes. 5 films I have paid for and now unlikely to be able to watch any via my tv. Yes the app has the latest version, and my internet speed is more than sufficient.

Sadly I can't rate chili beyond the fact I cannot install the app. It looks like it cannot be installed on an xbox one. My TV is fairly old so I can't put apps on it. I run all my streaming and apps through the xbox. I searched for the chili app but couldn't find it.

Pretty good rental service
Content is reasonably priced and there is lots of variety, and the VeryMe discount is always appreciated. Customer support is great too. What lets the service down is the lack of Roku and Airplay support .. it is 2021 and they only really support Chromecast and Smart TVs which is a shame.
Needs these integrations to truly allow us to watch contents on TV. No update on if/when these will ever be supported. I don't think it's too much to ask, that is, if you want to get ahead of your competitors.
Not had any issues with the streaming aspects; I rarely use my outdated Chromecast anymore. I would also say more films require subtitles.
