Didn't work

Got a free code as I'm a Vodafone customer, had to use it before midnight, managed to creat the account and put the code in but then I kept getting a "oops a error has occurred" message this carried on all the way till midnight when the voucher expired 🤷🏻‍♂️ shame, It's a good way to entice new customers, but it just shows me either it was a con or the app on my smart TV is too unreliable, it's going to get deleted, I think I'll stick to prime and netflix 😅

Faker than plastic surgery

Got an offer to watch a movie through chili for free. Made an account and logged in on fire stick; no movies, just a screen with account, info, settings. Even worse, did some research and looked at some reviews from a few months ago on this site and others and everyone’s saying it’s a scam and a fake website. There’s only a few good reviews but they probably wrote them themselves; wouldn’t be surprised. It’s my own fault for not even googling them before making an account. Don’t trust them. Complete and utter waste of time. I hope that the site and app is taken down some day, along with this garbage company.

Great choice

I don’t really get all the poor reviews, not sure if I have been lucky or others unlucky! Never tried to buy, just rent. It’s true some titles are a bit pricey but you have the choice to pay or not and unlike Amazon it’s upfront (we found A Prime really annoying, the way it put paid for content in with sub content, anyway!). For choice I have not found anything better! Been using Smart TV ap and works perfectly. Works with chromecast too via Android device (there is a page with what devices it works on, understand that it doesn’t work on Apple but not sure). Very easy to use. Like that it’s clear and you get what you pay for. Would recommend.

No subtitles on popular content

I rely on subtitles to understand what people are saying in films and TV shows. It was surprising to discover that Chili does not provide subtitles for popular films like Home Alone and John Wick.

If you think about it, Chili provides a worse service to the viewer than pirates who include SRT subtitle files in their releases.

I would not recommend using Chili if you need basic accessibility features. It is not worth signing up for if you depend on subtitles.

Absolute con. Took my money for a movie but unable to watch on iPad, Mac or iPhone. Pity they are not UK based where trading standards law would close them down. Please avoid these scammers who steal your hard earned cash.

Can't get Chili in Dublin

I live in Dublin, Ireland. I have a Sony KD-55XD8005 Smart TV. I have watched movies from Chili on my computer, but I can't get the app on my TV. Your website says that it should be available on that TV (2017 VINTAGE) but when i open Google Play and type in 'Chili' on the search bar, nothing comes up? Why is this? Could I use a VPN?

unfortunately CHILI is not available in Dublin. For this reason you can't find our app in your Smart TV. You can use our service if you have created a CHILI account in the countries where we work (Italy, UK, Poland, Germany). In this case you can watch our contents in the CHILI website and mobile app but not in the smart tv produced in the country where CHILI is not available (not even with VPN).

Got a free movie as a promotion. Couldn’t watch it

Got a free movie as a promotion, wasn’t able to watch it unless on the same device, couldn’t air play it or watch it on my laptop once I started watching it on my phone. Even full screen mode was prevented, so the viewing was just framed into the internet browser, which was quite lame. Left the film and chose prime instead. Poor experience.

Flawless experience

Yesterday I wanted to rent a major movie (8.7/10 in IMDB) but, believe it or not, I could not find it anywhere ... except on Chili! Other providers might have had it, but to my understanding only do it via subscription, which is much more expensive. With Chili I was able to rent just the movie I wanted. Everything from payment to watching the movie was flawless.

Bought a trio of films from you - The Invisible Man - Le Mans and The Lighthouse. The sound keeps breaking off and the films are unwatchable. I would like a full refund. Customer service is non existent and…

Customer service is non existent and estore falsely advertises items for sale - DO NOT USE!

I ordered a spiderman toy from the CHILI estore for my nephews Christmas. The photos in the listing and the email confirmation show a titan series spiderman with powerFX but I received the standard one without powerFX. Feel I've been deliberately mislead by false advertising on the website as I would not have ordered the toy if it hadn't been shown with the PowerFX unit on your web site.

I've tried using the online feedback form and messenger contact option to complain but I've had no response and doesnt even look like anyone is checking the messenger site. Disappointed and frustrated that I cant even speak to anyone to get a refund for an item that I did not order and do not need.

DISAPPOINTING

I have been seeing the Chili app on my smart tv and just wanted to give it a try. Finally decided to buy season 1-7 of Game of Thrones because it appeared to be cheaper than buying each season separately and I thought I am having a good deal.
I started to watch the first episode and just realised they don’t have subtitles so I wanted to “return” it and get a refund because upon checking there are other good and cheaper buying options from other providers (costs less but with subtitles!)
I went to their help page to try and sort things out and they just have a contact form. Not even an email address or a phone number.
I know it was a bit stupid to spend almost a hundred quid for some service that I haven’t tried before but you see I was really optimistic with this to start with and now I am just very VERY disappointed with the service.

Rented 4k movie but was displayed in around 1080p . Not happy . Will not be using again ... I have a Panasonic tx-55ex580b it supports chilli 4k hdr but still will not put out in this and i have virgin media with very fast speed Internet so next excuse?

Be careful when navigate in their website

Quite possibly the worst website I'VE EVER VISITED. I've entered the website and logged with Facebook, half an hour later they sent two emails without any kind of permission from me! ONE saying your promotion has been activated the SECOND one to the newsletter.

I think they best update their GDPR rules before one day they'll get in some real troubles.

They have structured the website in such a way that it makes it difficult for you to unsubscribe or delete your account so you have to do a "request form" to unsubscribe. Are we joking or what?!?
