Haris was very easy going when gaining a quote, he had lots of options too. It was a very comfortable build up prior to installing my front doors, i am sooooo happy with the new front door, it looks amazing and also helps me feel a little more secure. great products, but awful customer service
Last August we decided to have a new front and back door, and choose Chiltern doors. we order the doors, and said we did not want them installed until end of October due to them being made and us being on holiday. took a few weeks to get the quote through after chasing, we got the quote and paid the deposit, then we got the design through for the front door the wrong glass was added so we got that changed. We had our door installed in the November, only the front door, the guy who come to install the door said as he loaded the back door in the van the glass blew so it needed a new glass adding, i said that was find not a problem accidents happen, he said should only take 2 weeks to get it repaired and the office will contact by the January i was contacting the office after not hearing anything from chiltern doors, the back door was booked in and then the night before got a call to say the fitter was ill we will call you back with a date, by the end of February no call back so back on the phone again to get it booked in so March back door was fitted. With in a few hours the door being fitted i soon got the finale bill in which i complained by the way i had being treated as a customer in which management called me and apologized and took money off the bill, they advised the error had been due to the new computer systems, but no my problems have not finished, the door bar end had come out twice now and Chiltern doors glued it the first time, the second time i requested it to be replaced, this was at the end of June i have had to chase and kept being told not in yet, last night after very little response i finale got hold of some one and they told me the items are in and this morning we had item glued back in. I have had a number of people saying love the door and glass where did you get it from i say Chiltern doors but i would not recommend due to the customer service is awful. I would certainly recommend the products, but be ready for not so good customer service and having to chase for answers.

I know we have spoken at length regarding the issue you had. Composite doors have drip bars at the bottom that have end caps on, They clip on at the bottom, Sometimes when people use the doors they can catch the drip bar with there legs or clothes and it clips off.
This may we add is a common thing with composite doors, Every door has a drip bar with end caps that are attached. They clip on and off.
This is what happened in this case, We logged it with the manufacturer and as expected they said can you clip or glue the end cap on please. We purchased a new drip bar as you seemed very upset by this clip coming off.
Today we came out and clipped on your weather bar. If this was to come off again please clip it back on and try to be careful catching anything on the drip bar please moving forward.
I must say I have looked at the pictures of the doors installed and the workmanship and quality of works is top quality, Sometimes it takes a little while to get new parts etc from suppliers and they we come out and install normally when we are in your area when its a gesture of good will over a manufacturing warranty claim.

Thank you for your review. Having read your review I can see that you had a lovely new composite door installed within 4 weeks from ordering.
I can also see that on installation we noted that a Lion head knocker had been missing off of the order. The manufacturer have acknowledged this and our office administrator spoke to you at the early part of this week to arrange a date to get this installed for you.
We have not been made aware of any "Squeaky sound" but would happily look at this when we arrange to come out and install the knocker for you.
Our notes state that you have been away and we were to hold off from the knocker installation until you was back.
We want you to be 100% happy and try out best to keep every customer feeling that way. We do realize that sometimes items can be missed from the suppliers etc and We acknowledge it can be frustrating but do not worry by the end of this week you will have your knocker installed providing your back and we can attend as we need the door to be open to install.
If you have an queries or concerns please contact our office on 01582 858440 and someone always answers Monday to Friday.
UPDATE:
Adrian we have tried to call a good few times, But no answer. Please give us a call back and we will arrange to put the knocker on for you.
The manufacturer is a well reputable brand called Virtuoso, They give a 10 year guarantee, So we would be happy to look at any concerns you are now having. This is the first we have heard of this from you so Hopefully it is not just because you are unhappy about a knocker.
The administrator Angeline in the office has logged your conversation which stated dates that the knocker could not be installed due to you being away.
Adrian, We really value your business and really do not want to bicker over trust pilot. If you could answer your phone or call us back this is much easily resolved.
The ten year guarantee will eradicate any concerns you are now having and the knocker will take 5 minutes to install but we do have to get into the house and have the door open to install it, We cannot install from the outside.

Best experience by far..
Having been let down by 3 different companys i was very veary but Chilterndoors installed 2 doors for us.Everything was handled very professionally from start to finish by Haris, which made things quite simple.We were given a 3/4 week time frame but the doors were ready and fitted in 2 weeks.The fitter arrived on time, and by mid afternoon both doors were fitted to high standards, leaving us with magnificent doors and no mess at all. Would recommend 100%

From start to finish, Chiltern doors were amazing.
The Salesman that called was very helpful and very friendly. There was no high pressure to purchase at all.
The door we chose took about six weeks to be installed. We phoned around the timescale we was given and arranged an appointment for a week later.
The Father and Son team that arrived were, very friendly and courteous.
They respected my property from the moment they arrived.
They lay protective covering onto the floor in the hallway. Even though I told them not to worry as I was renewing the floor soon.
They carried out the works very efficiently and to a very high standard.
The door looks amazing !
I would definitely recommend Chiltern doors to anyone who's looking for a new door.

We drove past Chiltern doors a few times now. We popped in and got talking to a nice young chap there called Louis. We looked at many styles of doors that they have. We have recently had the fitting completed. They changed a bathroom window and our front door. Very clean neat job. Best regards.

Fantastic Chiltern Doors
