We always book our traintickets via Chinahighlights, always 100% reliable. We often need several Tickets for our travels through China. At the First Station we get all ticket printed out which saves so much time at all further stations. Even when Tickets are sold out, they give you good alternatives. For checking our travel plans the Website is very helpful as you can see all stops and all possibilities. Absolutely recommand Chinahighlights for Train bookings in China.

Train tickets from Guangzhou to Hong Kong were easy to book. Good communication by Vivi when the train I wanted was sold out and an alternative was quickly sourced. Reasonably priced and would use again.

Buying rail tickets in China used to be a nightmare. I booked with China Highlights (thanks to Man at Seat 61) and all we needed to do at the two stations we used was to show our passports. No physical or digital ticket was needed as its all handled by the China Highlights software.

Booking was easy and communication was good.
Originally booked for 4 people but had to cancel 1 ticket after tickets were issued.
I contacted them and the refund was quick and hassle free.

Easy to book. If you're unsure about the booking, can wechat them and they will respond accordingly.

Booking process is relatively easy, book and paid online (we used WeChat), then, as explained, you get ticket confirmation 15 days before the trip. We booked business class tickets which are obviously popular so there is no guarantee you’ll get it - twice we received an email marked ‘urgent, 15 days before, that they had to put us on the different train same day, which was ok for us but keep in mind if on tight schedule. Boarding is 10-15 min before the train, suggesting being at the station 45-60 mins earlier (in big cities) especially if it’s your first train. Stations are great, well organized, look like airports.
Your passport is your ticket, just scan it at the check in. Finally, Chinese bullet trains are fantastic, clean, punctual, and business class is fabulous, worth every penny!
