When I tried to redeem the gift card they said it had already been redeemed. Seeing as I just scratched off the back to see the card number, that wasn’t possible. I called customer service and they told me I needed a receipt of where it was purchased. It was a gift so I don’t have that information. They told me it was not usable. SCAM!

I have to give this company a one because zero is not an option. My son got this as a gift. I had read previous reviews so as not expecting much. We selected the gift card that we wanted and I took a screenshot of the transaction. I never got a confirmation email, but I did have the number because of my screenshot. Call the customer service number. The gentleman was repeatedly unable to help me and told me I should call back, but I demanded a supervisor. The supervisor got on the phone and remarkably was able to send me an email confirming that my email was working but not able to send me the gift card and told me I needed to wait 24 hours. Do not ever use this company. With all of the complaints I don’t understand how this company is not shut down for fraud. update, I am changing my review to it too because supervisor Rob was able to give me the gift card.

I would give a zero if I could. I lost the inside card that I have to write the number on (I guess, I have no idea). Called customer service and got someone in India. He said he couldn't understand me and I sure couldn't understand him I gave up. I feel sorry for the people who gave me this, they are out the money for nothing. DO NOT buy from ChooseYourCard.com. It is a scam.

Card & "business" is a scam. When trying to originally purchase as gift for a friend, the checkout at WalMart kept blocking. Should have saw this as a warning sign. Followed my gut feeling and decided to "open" the card; there's NO plastic debit card inside. Then tried visiting their website, my browser blocked it immediately. Scam scam scam. Don't waste money on it!! Lost $45 on it.

This is a scam don't buy it. You can't redeem it. You go through all the process and they require you to have the confirmation email and they say they send it but they don't. It isn't in the spam folder. The cards should be pulled from the shelves and illegal to sell such crap.

Scam! Never received a card or even an email. It was a Christmas gift to me from one of my customers, and I don’t have the heart to tell her that she got scammed. I hope that you don’t buy this card and also get scammed.

They are the worst on the planet been over 2 weeks now same message can’t process your order because we cannot verify order information such BS

Original card came damaged, what a hassle to get a replacement! Original card came with 20 choices some non restaurant choices! Replacement gave me 8 choices all restaurants that are really non to our liking! Don't give this card to anyone unless you don’t like them. Rip off and a hassle! Dont care if you been bait and switched or what they put you through!

ChooseYourCard.com and Zillionsgift.com have the same 833-number. Scam to scrape your personal data. Please avoid at all costs. Will report to local authorities and maybe it will be escalated to national level.

I have not redeemed my card nor given my email but it tells me I have chosen and redeemed my card. I don't know how much is on it or what gift card was chosen. I called the phone number but that's a joke it just keeps returning to the ain number and giving one option. Says it was sent to my email but I don't have anything in my email either. DON'T PURCHASE it's a scam. USELESS. If they can fix the problem I'll be happy to take this review down and give a favorable review. Let's see if it's a reputable business or needs to be reported.

Tried to redeem the card I got as a present, followed the instructions and even the unhelpful YouTube video but the thing is- the main page after you enter you card number just is error 404 page not found. Tried on different browsers, different devices, using wifi and using cell service etc. called customer service and they can’t help you place an order and they can’t fix the website so they were not helpful (nice, but not helpful).

Feels like a total scam.

I have not been able to redeem this card. no help at all with customer service. $50 activated but not able to redeem to the restaurant of choice. I would not recommend this gift card at all. It was a gift for our 50th wedding anniversary.

I received this gift card as a recognition gift from work. I have tried on multiple days from multiple devices/web browsers to access the website to choose which card I would like, but the site says page not found. It does show my $20 balance, but does not offer any way to redeem. A call to customer service connected me to a very noisy call center and a representative who advised me to clear my cache, try a different browser, or try back later. None of these resolved what seems like a fundamental function on their website: redeeming gift cards. Any legitimate website should be tested to work with a variety of browsers and devices. When I called back customer service was not able to explain why the website was not working or why coming back in a couple of hours would resolve this, nor were they able to assist me in redeeming this recognition gift for a merchant card. Customer service excellence means taking care of the customer - personally over the phone if you must. They were not able to provide me with an employee ID number or case number, but assured me there was a note highlighted on the record attached to my card number.

UPDATE: After repeated calls I was finally connected to IT at their corporate office in Georgia. To their credit they did acknowledge that their website was not functioning correctly and arranged to make update. I received a call-back later that day to confirm that the site was fixed and to confirm that I was able to finally redeem my card for a vendor gift card.

Deplorable website. After every browser I could think of on my computer and phone, what finally worked for me was an incognito window on chrome on my phone. I had WIFI turned off and my VPN was off too. Gift card worked at the restaurant. Bottom line is these people know their website is crap and they dont want to fix it.

I tried entering the information (8x) on my desktop using (2) different browsers. This is what was successful:
First I QUIT my VPN and anti-virus. I then opened Firefox browser and opened a new private window tab.
I logged on to the Choose My Card site and entered the information. (make sure to GENTLY remove the security strip because the numbers can rub off easily.) Also, make screen prints of all info in case you must contact the company.
Print the screen that comes in your email or bring it up on your phone.
I haven't used the card yet, so I can't report on the ease of use.
I gave this 3 stars because of the difficulty of the poorly constructed web site.

I had a very good experience redeeming the store bought card. I do not understand why those who made complaints had trouble.
I purchased a card with multiple restaurant choices.
Step 1: It took only 5 minutes to open the site for chooseyourcard.com, enter the gift card number, exp. & CVV # . Step 2: The possible choice of restaurants appeared...I chose Carrabba's Italian Grill, entered the amount (the full amount of the already purchased store GC), added a qty of 1 to my cart. Step 3: I entered the recipient's (my) email and my confirmation email address. Hit checkout and it processed immediately. $0 balance due. I checked my emails and the confirmation was already sent, as was the e-gift card. Steps 2 & 3 took only 5 minutes, tops. I can't wait to eat at Carrabba's and it will be great to have $25 toward my bill!!! Good luck to others - just follow the easy steps.

I wouldn't even give choose your card 1 star but I had to click something. Got one of these cards as a gift and nearly a month later, I am still trying to redeem it. Customer service is rude and disrespectful.

Cannot give 0 stars! Received as a gift. My chosen restaurant still ended up charging me when I went to redeem, this was actually after I had gotten a success message from choose your cards with what I thought was everything I needed, card number and pin code. Definitely feel like they are taking advantage of people.

EVERYONE, HEED these warnings!!!! This may not be a scam, but the hoops you have to jump through are NOT worth the hassle and you will be angry that the gift giver didn’t just get you a A NORMAL gift card that doesn’t require an hour plus of work to get a gift. Feel like I am working the hassle this is turning out to be and it still isn’t done. I am still getting the error message. Everyone says scam which it may be, but scam is over used so you may be tempted to think people automatically say scam, it just isn’t worth it. I called my son and he is going to mail me receipt so I can return where purchased. So even though I have spent an hour trying to get it to work, I now have to spend MORE TIME & gas to return it. Again, take these reviews VERY SERIOUSLY!!!

Tried 6 times and got an error every time trying to redeem my card for a gift card. Have not called in yet but this is pathetic enough. I shouldn’t have to call in for a ecard. Stay away from this product!

Edit: at recommendation of another review, I tried a different browser and was successful at getting the gift card. Have not used said gift card, but will hope it works. Leaving 3 stars for the hassle of this gift process. It wasn’t fun and I do not recommended. However anyone with issues, try a different browser or different device to see if you have success as I did.
