It worked but on a different device…

I had trouble redeeming the gift card like everyone else when it came to selecting the restaurant/brand I wanted to redeem it with. Try to redeem it on my phone thru choose your card.com multiple times. I did speak to a rep and gave him the reference error # he said the website was acting up and to try in a few hours or we could get a refund which would be a paper check. I did what he said hours later. Didn’t work. So I called again got another Rep she said to clear my phone’s cache. I did, nothing happen. Then she recommended I used a different device i.e. a laptop or desktop. I did just that and it worked! I was able to redeem my gift card. I’ll be using it tomorrow $20 :). But going forward I wouldn’t recommend these type of gift cards to give to people. Better off with a brand w/its own gift cards or visa gift cards w/cash on it.etc. Customer service support was good. No complaints. ————-
—————
Update: I was to choose which brand I wanted my $20 gift transferred to, to put on the brand’s e-card. (You can’t go to the restaurant you chose with the CHOOSE YOUR CARD # / PIN number in this case, it won’t work I believe it says that on the on the instructions the physical paper gift card it came with). Anywho After I picked the brand I wanted, I just put the email I wanted my e-gift card sent to (which was my email) and followed that’s brands instructions on how to redeem/get what I wanted like any other normal gift card 👍. then I went to the brand/restaurant to have it redeemed via the brand’s mobile app which I had downloaded before hand :).
3 stars for hassle.

Purchaser of the gift card was scammed

Purchaser of the gift card was scammed. Apparently, they were required to go to Chooseyourcard.com and select the desired restaurant. The purchaser gave the card to me without having done this. So when I try to go to Chooseyourcard.com and provide the numbers from the card I was given it returns an error. So the person who purchased this gift card was scammed out of $25. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a gift card. If it were possible to give 0 stars that would have been my rating. VERY DISSATIFIED

Absolutely and 100% - PURE F@#%!*ing FRAUD!!!

I've been trying to redeem a "Gift Card" from my retired 90 year old Aunt (with limited means) from choseyourcard.com. The whole repeative process of "trying to redeem" has turned out to be nothing but a PURE PROFIT CENTER for choseyourcard.com. Absolutely NO ON-LINE SUPPORT and when trying to dial the "posted" Customer Support # 833-414-9427 it doesn't recognize ANY keyboard input and automatically disconnects you. This company is PURE FRAUD!!!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY

Sucks so bad I wish I could give it 0/5 stars. I tried well over 3 times to try to redeem my gift card and each time it told me that they were unable to process my order because they were “unable to verify the order information you provided.” such b.s. I tried using different emails to see if it would make a difference but alas no. Please do not buy this for someone as a gift as it is a waste of your own money. If you are unsure of a place someone may want to shop at just give cash, a visa gift card, or simply ask them where they like to shop. I also tried calling customer support but it was all automated with no option to talk to a real person.

Basically stealing money

The card is advertised in stores as $20-500, however they fail to tell you the balances of the cards are already set in the website. This means that my $40 and my $20 dollar cars now have excess amounts on them for items I will not use. They completely scam you of money and I would not advise using this. I would just spend the extra few dollars and buy a set amount card in the future.

I tried to redeem a Card on their site…

I tried to redeem a Card on their site on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla browsers. I followed their directions and was unsuccessful. I was given this Card as a gift. I don't recommend buying these cards as gifts. My friend wasted money on this. Their website gives succinct instructions for redeeming the cards, but the actual process doesn't work - and they have no means of contact for this issue. Smells like a scam to me.

Birthday gift gone wrong

Received a gift card as a birthday gift. Went to activate it online as the directions state. Received an error message, so I contacted customer service. They stated the card is already active and belong to someone else and that information was private. I told the rep that was impossible because I just scratched the barcode to reveal the numbers. Please do not buy these cards for anyone, you will be losing your money.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. The card cannot be registered at all on the site, as they tell you to do. Every single person who has tried has failed. They will not let you talk to a customer service person unless you give them all kinds of information that most people who received this as a gift, don't have. They will mail you a new one which also won't work. They will tell you that this has never happened before. But read the reviews and complaints and you will see that EVERY person was scammed.

I received a gift card as a wedding…

I received a gift card as a wedding gift and chose Victoria's Secret online for the card. They sent me a digital gift card via email, but when I went to use it in-store, I was told it had already been used. This gift card appears to be a scam. I would not recommend anyone buying this gift card. I have called customer service and they were not helpful. I have also emailed them. Very unprofessional

This place is a scam

This place is a scam. I have gotten a card for my birthday. I redeemed it online for a Jersey Mike’s gift card. Card never arrived. I called them and a guy told me he was sending one through the email. I never got it. I called the next day and he emailed me a code to use. Low and behold. I went to use it at Jersey Mike’s today and card was invalid. I called choose your card.com and they couldn’t help me and told me to reach out to Jersey Mikes. How, the card was invalid. This business is jenky and a scam and they need not to be in business. I am contacting the better business bureau about this. This is absolutely horrible customer service with a bunch of losers working there that don’t have a clue with what is going on. I am beyond pissed off.

It's a scam

The whole operation appears to be a fake. You call in for a balance and it confirms the balance. But when you go to the website and enter the card info, it says there's an error and directs you to the customer service line. Which directs you back to the website...

Fraud and Poor Customer Service

Purchased card at CVS, was activated at the cashier, card was fraudulently redeemed before the gift recipient could use it. The chooseyourcard website makes it very hard to find out what happened and to contest a charge. I will never buy one of these cards again.
