If I could give 0 stars I would. After Gorillas and their 10 minute delivery has gone from the market we had to go back to Sainsburys Chop Chop. Every single time we order we need to prepare for the annoyance. Orders - NEVER DELIVERED. Customer Service - NON EXISTENT. What is the point of this app if it never meets bare minimum requirements. We would even be ok if the order is slightly late, but they just disappear in thin air. Every single time we wait all day, and then have to wait for the refund.
PLEASE avoid ordering from Sainsburys Chop Chop. The amount of annoyance, nervousness and anger it causes is not worth it.

Worst experience! Avoid by all costs! Order from a trustworthy place rather than this terrible service! Ordered once, never again! Deleting the app after I hopefully get my refund! The courier was lost, he delivered the wrong order and said its not his problem and I should contact Sainsburys customer service and when I did they were useless. They said they will not re deliver my order and they will issue a refund which cost me international bank fees because I was using a foreign card! Just terrible

I’ve had a shocking call from chop chop customer service (at 16:23 & 16:29 today). Firstly I received a message from the driver stating ‘I have arrived’ x2. No one had arrived. I messaged back and no response.
I then call customer services clearly concerned. The assistant calls the store and they state they cannot find a driver - and would I like a refund. I asked how they have not found a driver if I have a text from one stating they had arrived. The call dropped (I would like to assume they had not hung up) .
I call back and the attitude I received was actually shocking and disgusting. I was told I can only escalate after they have reviewed my problem and every thing I said I had to repeat. They asked for my email, and as they had never asked for this before, I asked why. The assistant huffed (a sigh with attitude ) stating they needed it. I was so shocked that I acknowledged the attitude, but it did not stop in fact it continued. I then asked if they have to go through this again or if it is on the system and she said she needed to know. I asked if there was a problem as she was acting as though I had personally offended her by asking her to resolve the issue. I asked again if there is a note on the system to which she argued that I had never asked her about this! I explained I did not wish to go back and forth. In fact I found the response very strange. She called the store sent a refund and when I asked to escalate she only recalled the part that did not include her. Suddenly she was asking me if I had said this or that. I asked again not to argue. At this point obviously I’m upset I called overall as I’m unwell and do not have the capacity to get food at the moment. To be argued with by customer services is deplorable! Did I say that, did you say that? Is a strange response to an escalation request. I even wonder if this was done. Please be wary - the service can be good but when it goes wrong there is no customer service available. Better of using a delivery app. Not to expected from a brand related to Sainsbury’s.

Shocking. They cancel your oder, process the funds and then do not refund you I am still waiting and have phoned and phoned They lied and said they processing the refund. They have stolen £58.00

Absolutely awful service. Order never arrived. Had to ring them to find this out. Customer service is atrocious. They don't want to help. They've taken money from my account and I've received no shopping. 5 days later I am still trying to get through to them to get a refund. Absolute joke.
Don't deliver in 60 mins
Awful service. I have tried using chop chop a few times now. I was hoping they would eventually improve but no awful service each time. They never deliver within the 60 mins, they frequently don't deliver what you ask for and customer service are useless they just say the store is busy but you can't get through to the actual store. Sainsburys if you can't provide the service as advertised then you shouldn't offer the service!

Stay away. My order has not arrived more than 4 hours past the delivery time. Contacted customer support 5 times and was always told the shop would call me back within 10minutes, which never happened. Once was told there were no drivers available
Zero stars if I could
Zero stars if I could. Second time using ChopChop and will never use again. First time waited two hours, chased the delivery and told no drivers. Today called Customer Service 10 mins past the estimated delivery time, held on the phone for 12 mins to be told they’re struggling to find a driver…. Sainsbury’s you clearly don’t have the infrastructure to support this as you never have available drivers.

Today I placed my first chop chop order. It wasn't picked up. I had to call the chop chop customer services who then rang the store who said I would I get my order within 30 mins. About an hour later my order was marked as delivered but it wasn't delivered to me. Phoned back to be told I'd get a refund as they don't have the contact details for the drivers. So basically place an order at your own risk. If you get your shopping or not who knows. Rubbish service. I have breast cancer so my order was for convenience.

Would give no stars. Had to phone help twice. Eventually got answer instead of phone cutting off. They contacted store who told them no one had looked at phone! Then admitted if I hadn't phoned it probably would not have been noticed until tomorrow morning. And has now arrived with incorrect products

Nothing comes when you order something on ChopChop. It's more like NoughtNought. Rang the 'helpline' which is hopeless. Never again.

More than half of order missing. No refund
I ordered £63 of items today. At most 1/4 of things were delivered, but I only realised after the fact as my husband put away the order. I phoned as advised and I was told I would get an email to confirm the refund and how much. We've heard nothing. This happened before, but the amount was so little, I left it. Very upsetting. I am going to have to call again, but have no confidence my refund will be processed.

Dreadful
Dreadful. Ordered twice. First time the delivery driver went to the wrong place and wouldn’t deliver to the right address as he said he wouldn’t get paid so I cancelled the order and re-ordered. This time the delivery man told me I had given him the incorrect postcode which of course I hadn’t . I was so frustrated and he just hung up on me. Awful company and awful service. Ordered from Tesco’s Swoosh. No problems at all.

Will report this to Trading standards, it's beyond okay. A order that was selected as 9am this morning and its now 19.30pm and its still processing- how can a reputable company like Sainsburys be attached to this appalling service!! Will also be taking it up with them directly as well.

Have tried this service a couple of times. Very poor experience. Long delivery time and most items not delivered. Long and frustrating back and forth with customer service about getting a refund - 3 calls and conflicting information each time. Finally sorted now.
Awful scam
Awful scam. I’ve been ringing all day my delivery hasn’t arrived. The customer service agent hung up on me after leaving me on hold for 15 mins. Just in time for their closing time at 10pm to ensure I don’t ring back. Disgusting company. Unbelievable.
