I purchased a BRAND NEW car less than 2 years ago. I was told “don’t worry MG is reliable these days and it’s has a 7year warranty” since purchasing my car has not started on 17 occasions. Oil leak twice. Locked me and my daughter in the car once. All apparently not covered on warranty and they will come and “smash my window but I will have to pay for the replacement window. The tracking has had to be repaired and there have been brake faults 3 times.
Each time the car goes in they say they can’t find anything wrong with it or on the rare occasion they find something and it’s not covered. The aftercare is shocking and the staff do not have any care for you once they have your money. Avoid MG at all costs and avoid these dealership for any car. Their standards for looking after their customers are on the floor!
Recently purchased our MG HS, dealt with Andrew who made the whole experience a simple and seamless experience. Highly recommended.

May I just say from the minute I walked into the showroom I was greeted by Gareth who was busy with a customer but still found time to answer the questions I had. MG recalled my vehicle due to an issue regarding emissions.
No free courtesy vehicle was given despite the issue laying solely with MG. MG require you to pay £25 for the privilege.
It used to be free!
MG at Burnley had my vehicle for 5 hours.
I collected my vehicle and I did not drive it over the weekend.
Today there is a fault that has suddenly appeared. Rather coincidental, a Rear drive system fault.
I contacted the garage requesting an appointment with minimal disruption given my recent experience only to receive an extremely unhelpful email back with an appointment for just under 3 weeks away. They have kindly offered me a courtesy vehicle but only if I pay the obligatory £25.
My vehicle is a 24 plate with less than 8000 miles on the clock.
You really need to work on your customer service. Appalling at best.

The easiest and best value motor vehicle purchase I've ever done.

Had a great experience start to finish with Gareth at the Burnley branch. A salesman with heaps of experience and knowledge. It’s clear he puts the customer first and after a bad experience with a different dealership and motor group- I am so grateful for the service provided. Since purchasing the car he has also checked in regularly and has been supportive and helpful in resolving issues that occurred that were out of his or the dealerships control. I am due to give birth in 2 weeks and Gareth kept all promises made in terms of timescales and ensured that the vehicle was in immaculate condition for agreed handover date, he took all the stress out of buying a new car. Would recommend Gareth to anyone looking to buy a new vehicle and would travel the 2 hour distance again to get this kind of service. Thankyou so much!
