worst experience ever
I´m a native speaker of German but up until now I thought I was doing fine in English, too.
Submitting an invoice for a University in France was one of the worst experiences of my life. It took me about 10 hours (no joke) and I sat there with Google translate, because most help sites are still in French only, and later I tried an assisant-chat. Also I tried with a native speaker of French.
I still have no idea how and why it worked in the end, but I guess only because this last of 4 assistants was very committed. So thanks to that lady there.
And greetings to the French government: Best way to make people’s lives unbearable is to force them to submit invoices through their website…
As a consequence I will not accommodate any guests anymore from a French University or any other public sector. Thanks and bye, bye...
