It was so easy working with the team at Churchill. They were very responsive, efficient, detail-oriented, and proactive. I would definitely use them again.

The whole process was really great, overall. I didn't really have any unanswered questions or anything. I think I had to press a little bit to get an answer from time to time, but I also bought a house during the hottest real estate market time in our lives so there's that. The main downside came after everything was done: I have been borderline harassed with mail that seems to be from Churchill, basically telling my that I hate my family to the 1,000th prior generation if I don't get some kind of mortgage insurance policy to pay the house off if something happens to me. It is possible that all of this is not connected with Churchill and is just part of the madness when you buy a house and that information becomes public, but I have probably received 35-50 things about it. It is ridiculous. So that is the only downside that stands out to me :)

Churchill Mortgage was the best! They took their time to explain everything, made it so easy for me to understand and process went so smoothly, no issues. I would recommend them to everyone.

I have had to fight to get my flood insurance paid. The premium was in my escrow to be paid by Churchill and it was not paid after many many calls to customer service and the insurance department, which has caused me to lose my flood rate and it was increaseed by $1000. I am still waiting on the insurance department ot pay the increased premium but they keep asking for a declarations page which FEMA does not issue until premium is paid. What a nightmare. I keep thinking it will be over soon but it just continues with no resolution. Even though Amy Phillips has been involved, it seems as though again the insurance department has returned to making the same mistakes that got us to this point. Please someone make some changes to improve so no one else has this happen.
