I recently completed a 16 day tour of Italy using Ciao Italy Tours. The tour had us visiting Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, Assisi, Rome and finally Sorrento. Ciao Italy assisted me with the details to make this trip happen. They provided trains and drivers when needed to get us from place to place. They also were very flexible in providing excursions in each area, so that we could see all of the things that were of interest to us. I would recommend them highly to anyone that is interested in getting away from the typical Italian tours and want to create their own personal tour.

We cannot thank you enough for your TLC provided to Joe and me. From the very beginning of us dreaming of a vacation of a lifetime trip to Italy; Fabiana and her team were there all along! The team was resourceful, listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered.

Communication is so important when traveling abroad; contacts and support are with you the entire trip. When we had some minor mishaps (oversleeping/jet lag!), all we had to do was contact them and the response time was immediate.

Everything went so smoothly…we didn’t have to worry about anything.

Drivers and guides were professional, pleasant to be with and knowledgeable. Vehicles were clean and comfortable. All service providers were very focused on what we as their clients wanted!

Other than a very few glitches, the hotels, tours and transfers were great. Our tour guides and drivers were all knowledgeable, friendly and professional. How the drivers could navigate the switch-backs, scooters, busses and pedestrians was amazing to me.

This was a trip to celebrate our 50th anniversary. It was a trip of a lifetime! Thanks to Ciao Italy Tours.
The Continental hotel is the only place for us. The staff is wonderful, rooms are cleaned every day. But, the view is spectacular!! Our tours Capri, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii were very enjoyable and informative. Our tour guides were excellent. But, a special shout out to our private Capri guide Antonino. Made this tour so special. He showed us all that Anacapri and Capri had to offer. Mille Grazie

The trip was laid out very well with easy to use package of instructions. Each experience, especially the golf cart tour, was not your usual tourist activity.

Venice, Italy - hotel was wonderful. Great location and centrally located to make walking easy. Tours were wonderful as well - both guides were excellent. Gondola rides are very overrated but you have to experience it at least once. We had an extra day so the gentleman that met us suggested we go to Murano to see the glass making - so glad we did. We also went to Burano and LOVED everything about it. Next was Florence. We were disappointed that we did not have transportation to hotel from train station. We ended up walking about an hour pulling heavy luggage otherwise we would have had to wait an hour or more for a taxi. Next time get people transportation. Our private wine tasting was not worth our time - our hostess was more interested in helping 3 gentlemen that came in for a large order of bottles of wine. Especially since we spent the entire next day at 3 wineries. The 3 wineries were very nice. Florence was not my favorite but was nice to visit. Hotel was nice but the people that worked there were not very friendly. Then Rome - which was wonderful. We started at the Vatican and Sistine Chapel - wonderful tour - guide was excellent. Then we had a golf cart tour which was fabulous - the guide was amazing!!! We visited Pisa which I enjoyed. Then we toured the Coliseum which was wonderful. That was the morning the Pope passed away. That tour guide was also wonderful. We then headed to Positano - my most favorite of the entire trip! EXCELLENT hotel and location!!!! Loved that we had an entire day to ourselves to walk around Positano. Our hotel was magnificent!!! Then headed to Sorrento with a stop at Pompeii. 2 hours was more than enough time there but glad we stopped. Onto Sorrento - can you say 5 STARS hotel!!! Our rooms were out of a dream! Actually both Positano and Sorrento hotels were marvelous!!! Right on the Mediterranean Sea - fabulous! I slept with my door overlooking the sea open every night!!! Sorrento was my second favorite place. We had a cooking class - which wasn’t as much cooking as I would have liked but the owner Charlie was wonderful. His winery was worth 6 bottles being shipped back to the states. Loved all the shopping and proximity to everything. Then onto Capri - enjoyed the day visiting The Blue Grotto and shopping all day. Overall, what I loved the most was that we were not jammed all day with multiple tours. We had about one a day and some days with none so we were able to see the sights but also have our own time to do what we wanted. The trip was a trip of a life time and I enjoyed everything about it. Loved the efficiency of the taxi service, that was part of our tour. The drivers were on time and very professional! Having greeters when we arrived into the different cities on our tours was such a nice addition to our experience. It allowed us to relax and know we were in good hands and didn’t have to worry about getting around on our own.
The golf cart tour with Sam in Florence was so much fun and interesting. We also really enjoyed our tour guides Rosella, Max, and David in Rome!
We really enjoyed the hotels in all the cities we were booked. They were located in great areas, central to interesting sites!

I would definitely book another tour with Ciao tours !

Ciao Italy built a very personalize agenda focused on items that we wanted to experience while in Rome and the Amalfi Coast. Kudo's to their car service employees, all were respectful (showed up early and walked us to our final location). Our cooking class, our wine tasting, our tours were completed by top notch professionals. I highly recommend their services.

Trip to Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre and Rome:

All the hotels were central to sites and had wonderful breakfasts. Transfers were seamless, on time and with pleasant staff. Tours were top notch

every step of the trip was perfect. The cars and travel arrangements really helped me stay on time and safe. The drivers were wonderful and extremely helpful. The cars were clean and comfortable. Divers were waiting for me at every stop.

I have used Ciao for all of my Italy bookings. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and always make great recommendations.
