Highly recommended for service and value. Unlike other car hire outfits the price includes total insurance cover so no hard sell when you arrive. Price also includes second driver as standard. You pre load your personal information online in advance so check in is simple and quick. Cars provided are good quality and you get what you ask for not some equivalent, Hand back just give them your key and your done, no microscopic inspection.

I have been using CICAR, for a number of years on my frequent trips to Lanzarote. Prompt, efficient, polite service. Together with a clean and functional hired car.

Absolutely Outstanding. The best car hire company I have ever used. I always use CICAR in the Canaries, they have never disappointed. The price quoted is the price you pay, fully inclusive. Nobody pressures you to buy extra insurance cover. They have the fairest policies I have ever encountered. Highly competitive prices too. And with super friendly staff and great cars. They are perfect.

Great experience. They let us have 2 extra drivers without a charge. Everything is insured, no questions asked, and no hidden costs.
One recommendation is to check the fuel level after the previous user, as the tank was not full the second time we rented a car, and we ended up paying extra for fuel.

A wonderful experience, a fantastic rental company! We've rented cars from CiCar in Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife. Always fast and hassle-free – both picking up and returning the car! The cars were in good working order, vacuumed inside, and kept full or half a tank of gas. And they also came with comprehensive insurance, ensuring comfort and peace of mind while traveling. My wife and I don't understand some of the criticisms about interior cleanliness, scratches, and dents. This reflects poorly on some users, not the rental company!

It was quick, minimum formalities, no queues. A very pleasent staff, good quality cars (I rented twice), no need of credit card, full insurance, easy rules, no hidden catch. And on the return they waited for me being a bit later than opening hours so I could return car in a city location!

Easy pre-booking online to pick up car in Costa Calma resort in Fuerteventura.
At allotted pick up time, car clean and ready to go, and office staff are multi-lingual - provided DL details & paid (98 euros for 3 days - it's arguably cheaper to book a car to pick up at the airport, but we only needed it for 3 days, not our whole trip).
CICAR cars are reliable, and the cost includes everything incl excess, you just return car with same amount of petrol in tank as when you picked it up. Easy peasy!

Good staff, Great car, No hidden extras, absolute and complete liability insurance included in price which actually was amazing. Cheaper than any "Rent a Wreck" companies I have used on previous visits to the island. (I could tell you some stories!!)
