Absolutely great experience with Cicli Corsa! The Colnago I wanted was not available in the US either as a complete bike or frameset, so I had to look outside the US. Cicli Corsa (and specifically Stefano) were super responsive to all the questions I asked, gave me a lot of details, and helped me feel good about having to deal with international shipping and tariffs. The bike I wanted even came quicker than expected from Colnago since they are seemingly a stone’s throw away. What a great experience. So thrilled to have my Colnago here, and not as expensive as I worried it would be when I first realized I was going to have to look elsewhere. Couldn’t recommend them more, and as an extra bonus, their Colletivo program is excellent!

I was surprised with duty payment that was not disclosed when the purchase was made. If a customer is going to spend that amount of money on an item, all the cost should be disclosed. Specially when returning the item cost more than the duty cost.

We fully understand how frustrating unexpected customs duties can feel — it’s certainly not an enjoyable part of the purchasing process. However, it’s important to note that all orders placed from the United States with Cicli Corsa are processed completely tax-free, meaning you automatically save 22% VAT compared to the retail price applied in Italy.
For several months now, for all orders from the United States, we have been sending a very comprehensive communication explaining the new regulations and potential customs charges, precisely to help customers understand the costs and the process as clearly as possible. Unfortunately, we are not able to estimate customs fees with precision, which is why we always recommend checking directly with the local customs office.
In that same communication, we also explain what may happen if one decides not to accept the customs charges and instead returns the item.
For these reasons, we were a bit surprised by your comment, which does not fully reflect the information provided. That said, we absolutely respect your point of view, and we will use your feedback to further refine and improve our communication and policies.
