I am now in my third class of Hebrew learning and I can not stop at being delighted by my progress while enjoying every lesson! The method is smart, well thought, modern and… fun!
The teachers are devoted, inspiring, motivating and always ready to help the students when they detect a difficulty!
I highly recommend Citizen Cafe Tel Aviv to anybody who wants to learn or improve their Hebrew!

I am incredibly inspired by and satisfied with Citizens Cafe. The classes are fun and engaging and involve many opportunities for conversational Hebrew . The practice sessions offer tremendous help putting the vocabulary and verb conjugations into action.
I so recommend this structured approach to learning Hebrew. They offer so much support and the collateral benefit is conversing with people all over the world!

The method of teaching is amazing. I have had a great experiences and Citizen Cafe make studying Hebrew very enjoyable. I think the practice groups are great. You can jump into these groups at no extra cost.

The teachers are very hands on and understanding. I was finding difficult to keep up due to personal things going on in my life. I reached out to my teacher Chen Bermanis she was amazing.

She really understood and she got me into a class that suited me very quickly (a couple of hours) and at no extra cost. It was smoothly done nothing was a problem. I really felt I was being looked after. My other teacher Sahar Axel Pearlman was also amazing.

I really recommend Citizen Cafe without hesitation, it’s brilliant.

My Hebrew is really improving, grammar and vocabulary finally stick, almost effortlessly, after I tried different methods before without much success. You’ll be learning everyday spoken Hebrew in a fun and friendly learning environment with people from all over the world and make new friends. The support is great, lots practice sessions you can attend in your time zones and all course material is available online for you to review

I've been struggling to learn Hebrew for years and never found a proper method that suited me... Until today ! I've been going to Isreal for the last 30 years and took bits and pieces from here and there but I never really got into talking and this is what i was looking for the most. For this, Citizen Cafe is a perfect fit. I've only been following courses for a few weeks and I'm already using solid foundations that give me confidence I'll be at easy with the langage very soon. The courses are backed with additional rehearse sessions and I can also rely on training on the go, courses recordings and supplemental exercises to perfect my use of the langage. Best way to approach the learning experience as you learn, talk, practice and remember in a very trustworthy and reassuring environment. I highly recommand it !

My week is brighter knowing I get to learn Hebrew with Citzen Cafe. The teachers are professional, friendly and encouraging. Learning Hebrew seems to happen with a successful method.

You really get bang for your buck at this Hebrew language school- in addition to the twice weekly 1.5 hour long lessons, you can also log onto practice sessions almost daily for an hour and get even more practice! It also does it in a fun way and means that it is never boring!

Citizens Cafe is the perfect way to learn Hebrew. They give you the tools to help you and the instructors are all amazing. I highly recommend this to anybody that wants to learn Hebrew..

I've completed 1 semester and I'm half way through my second semester with Citizen's cafe and I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would recommend to anyone looking to learn conversational Hebrew. The teachers are amazing, they make class fun and casual ensuring students feel comfortable to speak and make mistakes, and I feel that they truly care about your development. My Hebrew has drastically improved already and I'm looking forward to learning more in the classes.

I love Citizen Cafe and all the instructors I've encountered so far. They are fun, detailed, honest with the aim of helping us and not just passing us forward, even when it is a harder discussion. My instructors, Yasmin & Gilad, managed the structure, our questions, were always encouraging for any question, found the answers later if needed. Light-spirited and encouraging, yet precise with the phrases and pronunciation even if we had to repeat 2-3 times... Even with 90 min of repetition it felt fun and playful.

I love Citizen Cafe and the course material. I love the website with the flashcards and the Practice to Go. My weakness is hearing spoken Hebrew, and the Practice to Go is very challenging to me, but it is wonderful and plentiful, (compared to another ulpan and to other courses I've taken. It's right there, I don't have to search for resources. I haven't attended the Live Practice sessions; i've been so busy, but will put them on my schedule in the break between this course and my next course. They are also great for speaking and listening, my weakness.

I love Citizen Cafe and the structure. Even if I can't do the flashcards due to being too busy, the class itself, the repetition of short phrases, is perfect for my learning. In the other ulpan, The instructor could speak for 15 minutes about something that she did, and we would listen mutely... That is good for some, but not for me.

Constructive Criticism: The only thing i don't like is the primitive way of sorting the flashcards. It doesn't invite me to come back to study them, because I always have to start at card 1, even if i'm at lesson 11. I wish they were per lesson as the Practice to Go is, and then all together... or that I could mix them randomly. Or I could start at a point; and hide the ones I already know... that would be best. There must be some more advanced technology for flashcards. I hate it lol. (Though the flashcards themselves are fantastic, with the written and audio. And the audio in different people's voices.) - Etana in Florida!

more integration of whatever is on Spotify so we remember about them; I forgot all about the podcasts. More at our level of Blue, or easier... so it's not challenging, but rather easy and I can feel, "oh I understood 90% of that" ... so more easy podcasts.

I have been studying Hebrew with Citizen Cafe for more than two years. I’ve had an amazing experience with the teachers and with fellow students. I was worried that I would be too old to learn, but they make learning fun! I am more fluent now than I was 50 years ago when I lived in Israel. Now, when I travel to Israel, I am comfortable with the language. I have appreciation and gratitude for the quality of the teaching and the sense of community that I have found there.

I had a wonderful experience with Citizen Café online. I found the experience focused and challenging.. Saar my “guide” was patient but also rigorous…the best part was his smile…which kept the class relaxed. For me “class” became family; I heard stories I never expected to hear…the real time “ping pong” of phrases helped me to nurture a more natural and flowing stream of speaking. I strongly recommend this course of study!

I was hesitant to sign up as I wasn't sure I would enjoy a zoom format. I am now in my second semester, and I look forward to every single class and practice group. The teachers are ALL incredible, and I have really enjoyed getting to know my classmates.
