Rude driver
Rude driver
Came back after my flight and went to the busses to get back home. When I went on the bus I was ready to buy a ticket but I told the driver I didn't have one, he cursed at me and got angry, said I was supposed to book online. He let me off anyways and bought a ticket. This is unacceptable behaviour and very unprofessional especially at that mature age. The bus was not even full especially during the ride as well. Hopefully the staff sees this and needs to do better, show some respect.
Unreliable in punctuality
I was supposed to get citylink bus one evening from Limerick to Cork airport where the bus should arrive 2 1/2 hr before departure of my flight , but that bus coming from Galway 1 hour after the supposed time wasn’t arrived yet so worrying about of lose the flight I asked a friend to bring me there which for the favour he charged me 60€ (by the way he picked me up 1h and 18 min after the supposed time and the bus wasn’t arrived yet..) so after I’ve arrived in time to the airport I emailed Citylink explaining the matter and asking at least for the refund of their ticket but I was told that I should consider the traffic of the evening and get the previous bus.. so basically for this company is the passenger that is supposed to consider the traffic delay in the pick time (was around 4pm) and not them when they write down the timetable!! Completely useless and unreliable.

Really dependable service
Really dependable service, quieter and in some ways more convenient than the train especially for the airport. Website/app is fine could be better.

Amazing job during the protest
I was on the bus from Cork to Dublin airport during the protest on sunday 12th, 3.30am. Citylink did an amazing job keeping us updated and giving us also the opportunity to change the time of the bus, that was helpful considering the situation. I arrived on time at the airport, the bus driver was very kind and welcoming. The updates and their coordination to reach our destination was amazing, you did a great job and I felt confident to reach my destination. Thank you for saving my holiday.

Great service during uncertain times
Great service during uncertain times. The driver went above and beyond to get all passengers safely through the fuel protest that was happening in Dublin. Despite the challenging conditions, they made every effort to ensure we arrived as quickly and safely as possible. I really appreciated the professionalism and dedication — highly recommend City Link!

Above and beyond to get us home
Thank you so much Citylink for getting us home from the airport late on Friday night during the fuel shortage and blockade crisis, we were very worried we wouldn’t get home. - the journey was so smooth and bus was lovely, clean and great WiFi. really thankful to your amazing staff 🙏🏻

Thank you City Link & the drivers
Thank you City Link & the drivers. We commuted Cork - Dublin return yesterday in the midst of the protests/road blocks. Well done to both drivers for navigating around blockades and the delay was minimal really.

Limerick to Dublin Airport
I use the service between Limerick and Dublin Airport very frequently at all times of the day and night. It is always reliable and always on time. The Drivers are always helpful. It’s so easy to change the booking online if flights are delayed or plans change.
Excellent service.

Disappointed
Despite booking in advance and travelling on a disabled pass...Driver insisted I couldnt sit on front seat and must despite a serious spinal injury climb the stairs up. With steel plates in my spine this is rather concerning and shows a complete disrespect for disabled passengers

Always late to the airport
Always late to the airport.
Currently on a bus from Athlone to Dublin airport collection from Athlone at 6am it is supposed to arrive at 7.30, I'm still an HOUR away.
I understand traffic fan be bad but if I had know it would be this late I would have gotten an earlier bus.
They should say what time it actually arrives on average weekdays. This can't be hard to do.

It's generally a great service
I have been using the 763 multistop to commute to Dublin since 2022. Its generally a very good service. The only issue I've ever had is the bus being booked out or the occasional delay.

Far better than air coach
Far better than air coach. The service is excellent. Friendly drivers, clean buses. Best of all, if travelling from Dublin, there is a waiting room and a helpful staff member will call you when the bus arrives and will often stow your case for you too. This service is excellent. Plus you can change your bookings in advance of the journey if you need to, for no extra charge.

Phone recovered thanks to an excellent Citylink driver
I had a very positive experience with Citylink thanks to one of their drivers.
My brother accidentally left his phone on the Service 712, travelling from Dublin Airport at 22:00 on January 2, 2026, to Castletroy, Limerick, with a scheduled drop-off at 00:25 on January 3, 2026. When we rang the phone, the driver answered and helped us recover it without any issues at all.
The driver’s name was Lucas. He was honest, professional, and very helpful.
Experiences like this really show the quality of staff Citylink employs. Much appreciated!!

I agree with what every 1 star has to…
I agree with what every 1 star has to say
The city link is a good company if you have your transport done in advanced going to take buses at 3-4pm making it more strict to reliable transport and even bus eireann is better than this wasteful company making me pay 4,50 for a ticket what I find more stupid is that most drivers in rural areas will flick their lights at you to see if youre a person 923 if I should even call it a functional bus doesnt flick anything unless it involves the bus driver its disgusting they dont care about passengers at all
If I had known better I would've gotten the 419 thanks a lot fot making me east my money unreliable bus and why do I have to flash when half of the road on bus drivers supporting me on visibility no I need to flash other drivers just to get on that's unrealistic and unprofessional
And its luke this only because its getting darker recently well next time ill try take the bus as early as possible even if it affects "open window" tickets prices because what the actual what you only give passangers to book 2 hours in advance and if they dont they're forced to book again for a later time absolute reputation
The driver was completely incompetent…
The driver was completely incompetent and this resulted in the service being 35 minutes late.
There needs to be two members of staff…
There needs to be two members of staff on services as night. This is for the safety of the bus driver who has had to deal with a lot of angry and self-righteous customers single handly which he did so professionaly on the service from 23:30 to Galway coach station, Monday the 20th from terminal 1. Especially since the new student card rules came into affect. Citylink, you need to install 2 members of staff on night services and do not put your drivers in harms way.
