Appalling Customer Service and Misleading Product Description
I purchased a 12-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription from CJS Keys (Order #4267932). What followed was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
The Product Issue:
Despite following their activation instructions to the letter, I only received approximately 10.5 months of Ultimate subscription instead of the advertised 12 months. I’m missing roughly 6 weeks of the service I paid for.
The Support Disaster:
• I’ve been trying to resolve this since 3rd October with no resolution
• Four different support agents, none of whom bothered to read the full ticket
• I explicitly stated multiple times that the keys worked fine but I didn’t receive the full subscription – yet support kept sending copy-paste responses about “already used” keys
• When I asked for escalation, it was ignored
• Support claimed my subscription was active until 10th October when I actually raised the issue on 3rd October (when it had expired)
• Generic, robotic responses that showed zero understanding of the actual problem
I’ve been patient, clear, and provided all requested evidence, yet I’m still without the service I paid for. The product doesn’t deliver what’s advertised, and their support team is either unable or unwilling to properly address customer issues.
Save yourself the headache – buy your keys elsewhere
Got Banned from Xbox after Buying 3 gamepass keys
Bought 2 x 12 month core and 1 month ultimate gamepass with a view to converting it on a 2:1 to ultimate basis. I even checked with xbox/microsoft that I can do this to get a conversion giving me 13 months Ultimate for £92. Entered all the keys exactly as per thier instrutions (ie wait till current pass expired, enter the 2 core codes then the ultimate code, on a PC/Laptop not through the xbox. 1 week later get a 5 strike enforcement and 15 day ban from Xbox citing I had obtained my keys from an illegitimate third-party website. Now trying to get a refund without knowing if I will get a total ban. Should have learned my lesson when I bought a 12 month Ultimate last year and that was sent as 4 x codes, see my review on 12th Sept 2024. Cheap for a reason, you run the risk of getting banned as CJS-CDKeys AND CD Keys operate in a Greay area. You have been warned. Xbox seem to be closing this online network and punishing the consumer. Customer service from CJS is terrible and very slow. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS!!

A few minutes later and another email - guess what another nay monthly subscription site - after a few frantic emails and cancellation requests I think I got those sites cancelled (only time will tell) - after all this don’t trust anymore emails from this company and requested my money back which so far they are refusing to give vack

This is a scam. The games work for a short time and are then reassigned to another user. You lose your access and your money is gone. Do not buy anything here!
Very poor experience!
I am sure there are many who have had positive experience but it’s unfortunate not the case with me.
I purchased a switch game 2 days ago, activated it but still have not got the instructions to download the game. Emailed the support but got told to contact live chat. Contacted live chat and after waiting ages got told it is being processed. 8 hours later - still nothing so contacted live chat again - marked now as urgent and still don’t know when it will be available. Hmmm…. Here’s hoping! 10 hours later still nothing and in a queue to chat to 24/7 help.

Brought a Win 10 Pro key, instantly didnt work as Microsoft advise it had already been used. Raised a ticket with CJS and no response in 3 days.
Very dishonourable
Bought a key from them, it didn't work, I have had over 10 emails telling me different things from store credit to refund asking for screen shots.
Just avoid them, having to get credit card company involved.

I had good experiences in the past with them, but when the key stops working (in my case it was office 2019 pro) they just simply close the support tickets with no resolution or even a reply. The website went downhill so my advice is to just avoid them.
xbox 12 month pass
Got a code for xbox 12 month pass. Said it was always used in May. Sent them a screenshot. They asked me to send a difference screenshot to prove it which I sent as well and then poof! Never heard from them again. Scam

I would warn other customers of this company illegal statics. I purchased a 12 month xbox code with turned out to be region locked, CJS CDKEYS refused to issue my refund. I did a chargeback with my bank. They keep sending me messages demanding that I withdraw the charge back for them to then issue the refund. no chance this is strange, I placed another order to give the benefit of doubt, they took the payment but didn't deliver the key. they said they where out of stock (website said 600 available. I then placed an order using my partner info and they key was provided right away. this shows the bulling within this business. there is no accountability, They failed to comply with a subject access request which i have reported to the information commissioners office. its clear this firm can not be trusted. matter reported to trading standards. Paypal will give me my money back and if you have a problem with the chargeback you deal with the bank not send excessive messages demanding i withdraw the chargeback or no support will be provided

Have been happy dealing with cjs-cdkeys for many years Xbox game pass and Xbox games probably around 5 years. Really bad service now purchased Xbox game pass activation with cyberghost has always worked fine in the past. Despite the money back guarantee if the code doesn't work I am down £60. Jumped through hoops done everything as instructed and despite promising me my money back when they resold the code, nothing that's been 3 months now given up on ever seeing a refund. The only way to show my displeasure is a bad review here and a promise to myself never to buy from them again, so my advice to anyone going to purchase from cjs-cdkeys beware

Scammed, lost $50
Scammed - sadly, this is the only logical conclusion after 3 months of dealing with CJS Keys Team.
I have lost $50, let it be a warning for you, potential customer.
What has happened is that I ordered a Steam Key, got a Steam Gift instead, and asked a refund. The CJS Keys Team has quickly revoked my access to the gift, and did not issue a refund even though they, mail after mail, reassured me that they would if anyone else bought the game. I don't believe they did not sell BG3 a single time since December 2024, and this also does not explain why can't I even access the gift.

I currently have 2 orders which have been paid but are not able to be collected. This is not the first time this has happened, i'd say i'm about 50/50 in terms of success/failure - hence 3 stars.

I posted a 1 star review on 4th December 2024 becuase it wasn't clear what I purchased was correct. So, yes, a load of rubbish and possible scams. They said I would get a refund but not got it. I've included the timeline below.
8th December 2024, Dave B. (Tier 2 support) (CJS CD Keys Support) said, "I can confirm that we have now completed a refund for you, back to your original payment method. It may take up to 4 working days to appear on your payment card/bank statement but should be instant for Paypal or Skrill Balance. Again Addy, please accept our deepest apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are confident that should you decide to buy from us again, you will experience our usual smooth and instant service."
23rd December 2024 I emailed back saying, "I have not received my refund. Your last message from the 8th December 2024 states the refund, "may take up to 4 working days to appear on your payment card/bank statement but should be instant for Paypal". My payment was via Paypal. It has been 10 working days and no refund."
3rd January 2025 CJD Keys, without reading any of the above from their very own organisation replied to my 1 star review, "You purchased a product described as an account, this is what you received. Our support staff have explained this to you and appreciated that you made an error when you made your purchase. You made a statement that most of the 5 star reviews are AI generated, although a completely false statement, it would be interesting for us to know why you would think this was even remotely true?" - Evidently they say one thing but do or don't do another. Rubbish.
Will not refund despite not having key
Ordered a key for Microsoft 365, only to find out of stock when went to download key. Was told would be 12hrs before back in stock, not the case. Contacted them to ask when back in stock, they didn’t know and offered refund or wait. I asked for refund and that was when they stopped communicating with me. They have not responded since, and I’ve tried asking for refund on main page. Says processing and then goes back to request refund. Cannot get answer from them and can’t get money back. Don’t waste your time with them

Ordered a 12 month subscription for playstation.
I got an email telling me to login as a random email account, bypass 2 factor authentication, use the code as the random login then share access.
When i have asked for a cancellation and refund I got one email back every 12 hours saying to send a screen shot, which I have already done.
They are just delaying and delaying. Customer service is terrible and the process for a code sounds very dodgy!
