I’ve just had a gastric sleeve with CK Health Turkey. The service has been incredible, from the booking process to my arrival in Turkey, through to the operation, and now, while I’m staying at the hotel as I write this review. I had never had surgery before, let alone abroad, and given the way UK media portrays procedures in Turkey, I can say, hand on heart, that CK Health is exceptional. Liza was my initial point of contact, followed by Arda, Hamza, and Ulash – all super friendly and informative. Both nurses, Fatima and Hazel, were fantastic. Everyone made me feel cared for and safe. Dr. Erdem Can Yardimci performed my gastric sleeve without any complications, and I’m excited to start this new chapter! See you all in a year for plastics!

Very friendly staff, I was made to feel comfortable even with a language barrier.
The hospital was clean and well maintained.

The care and attention I received from all at CK Health from arrival to departure was the best. Co-ordinators Ulash and Hamza were brilliant. Nurses and doctor all very supportive. I can't fault the customer service at all and thoroughly recommend them.

First of all I want to say to biggest thank you to everyone at CK Health! After wanting weightloss surgery for years and years, I was finally in a position to be able to book surgery. I spoke to many of hospitals in Turkey and after a friend's recommendation, I started speaking to my coordinator John at CK who provided me with all of the information that I needed to know and he answered the many of questions that I had so efficiently.

My mum and I both booked to have a gastric sleeve and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience. It can be scary having surgery in your home country, never mind travelling abroad for it but as soon as we arrived at the hospital, our worries were soon gone. Our coordinators were Hamza and Ulash and they've made this journey so much easier for us both, they are a huge credit to the company and they've been by our side throughout! They are just the absolute best!

We had many tests to ensure we were fit for surgery which I just think shows how much the company cares, we had X-rays, ultrasounds, blood tests, an ECG, a breathing test and we saw a cardiologist, everything is so thorough as well, you're literally taken from one department to the next with minimal waiting around.

On the day of surgery, the surgeon came and introduced himself to us both and asked how we were feeling, if we had any questions about the procedure etc. I was taken down to theatre and the next thing I remember was being back in my room with the nurses making sure I was comfortable and well cared for during my recovery. The nurses are so attentive, constantly checking on you to make sure you're okay, that you're given plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration and giving painkillers when required. They also helped with me getting up once I was able to and assisted me walking around and completing my breathing exercises, both oh which helped with the surgical gas pain I had, which is normal.

I also want to mention how spotlessly clean the hospital is, my bed sheets have been changed everyday as well as the rest of the room being cleaned too, floors mopped, sides wiped down, fresh towels and bins emptied.

I couldn't be happier with my decision of coming to CK health for my surgery and I highly recommend them to anyone who's thinking about booking

The staff are amazing and attentive - nothing is too much for them - I would highly recommend CK Health and would absolutely use them again.

The whole process. From picking up at the airport to arrival at CK Health. The care and support given is truely 100%. Everything thoroughly explained from pre op to discharge. The whole team are amazing. The hospital is so so clean. The care is 24hours. The Hotel after discharge is also lovely and clean the ideal relaxing environment you need. I cannot fault this experience at all

My experience has been amazing, all staff professional and kind and caring from the moment I got here. The nurses are so informative and the co ordinator have been so helpful with their knowledge and experience. I would 100% recommend CK health.

I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery at CK Health Antalya on the 3rd Sept 2024. Spent 3 nights in their hospital, and then 2 nights in a partner hotel.

Couldn't fault the hospital at all. Their communication before, during and after was excellent, their staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The surgeon (Dr Erdem) was fantastic and helped to keep my mind at ease.

Hospital is the cleanest I've ever seen, the area has lots of shops and cafes around too for a companion (or even yourself) to have a wander around.

I'd 100% recommend CK health to anybody considering surgery abroad. I'm 17lbs down 2 weeks post op, had no complications at all. And feeling amazing.

I flew out on the 8th September 2024 I arrived at ck at going on 12 midnight,, Sebastian pick me up from the airport and took me to ck,, soon as I got there they were doing chest x-rays took me to my room and within 10 mins was in putting canular in and taking bloods ( I hate canulars but they were so gentle) I was then put on fluids through the drip and back up at 8 in morning for more tests ( believe me the amount of tests they do is fantastic shows how much they check your body over ) full body MOT lol,, as soon as all tests were done I went back to my room gown on ready to be taken down,,1.30pm I was taken for my op back to my room by 3pm.. I was in really bad pain with gas ( won’t lie had a little cry) as the day went on it was more manageable and was given more fluids and pain relief which was by the way the best pain relief.. tried to sleep but I couldn’t get comfy and was already missing home 🥲 the next day was so much better again lots of fluids through drip plus could have milk apple juice and water although apple
Juice gave me heart burn,, coming to the next fed days they just got better and better,, im now 5 days po and I’m feeling great I’ve lost a massive 16lb,, honestly if your debating who to go with for your surgery I would 10000% recommend ck health all tests done tonight standards. The care is so good better than uk care,, and the surgeon his self is the best man for this he takes absolute great care in all his patients can’t wait for my journey and my new life… thank you so much to all the team surgeon dr erdem,, hazel and fatima the nurses and the rest of the team

I had my gastric sleeve done at CK health in July. I can honestly say, hand on heart I had the best experience.
From speaking to them on what's app answering all my questions, to being picked up by Sebastian and everything else that followed. The team are FANTASTIC. You have lots of test's before surgery to make sure you are fit for it. I went VIP and had the lovely ladies stay in my room every night to make sure I was there and needed anything. I cannot recommend this company enough. My only regret is that I wish I did it 10 years ago. I have lost a total of 36lb in 7 weeks and feel absolutely amazing. Do not hesitate book with them.

I've just recently had my Surgery here (gastric sleeve) 19th August. My whole experience with this team and at this hospital was absolutely Amazing. I've never felt soo cared for and looked after in any other hospital I've ever been treated in in the UK where I live. They are by far the very best at what they do. My Surgery went superbly, very little pain after and was up walking about in no time, the after care and support I had after was just the best!.
For anyone who is thinking of having Surgery at CK Health but is a little hesitant/unsure, I can honestly say this is the place to come, A Fantastic Hospital, A highly professional Team around you to support you through your journey from start to finish...a truly Amazing experience with the Best. 🙏❤️

First Class Hospital having been thinking about this procedure for such a long time I kept putting it off making an excuse one way or another. So after a long research of hospitals in turkey this one came up everytime.
Doing something like this is terrifying in some peoples eyes and especially in a foreign country it would probably be a no no for some.
I messaged CK HEALTH TURKEY and within the hour someone message me back. I asked lots of questions and they guided me through everything. I paid my deposit and within 2 hrs my flights were booked. You can pick any day you want to suit you if their booked they will give you alternative dates.
When you get into Turkey your driver will pick you and take you to the hospital straight away. Your shown to your room were you stay for 3 nights. The nurses come and take blood samples, you have an ECG check your lungs, liver, kidneys basically a full MOT. After the operation and your stay in hospital you are transfered to your hotel were you will rest and return to the airport the next day.
The nurses and doctors speak very good English and your well looked after. I have just returned today Tues 13th Aug and cannot thank them and praise them enough.
I went on my own and I can honestly say at any time did I feel scared, frightened or intimidated.

Not very happy with my tummy tuck surgery. Two cuts made instead of just one across. Not even fat taken out of my tummy so my tummy is not flat. It is oval. There is all this extra fat underneath my breasts so. Definitely won’t be using these guys nor would I recommend them. I have contacted Liza Many times but all she says is I need to diet. My stomach is the same shape as it is when I came out of surgery even now. After going to Istanbul previously and not having a great experience I told them what had happened and they assured me I would be very happy. Well I’m not happy in the slightest plus I paid more money than I would have paid in Istanbul. Like they say there is always one you manage to mess up. I am that one. Seriously upset and I have two big scars on my stomach too. Plus my belly button area hurts every time I bend down. Avoid like the plague pls

Just had a gastric sleeve operation at CK and it was a great experiance straight from when i landed the process was so easy no waiting around for pre op checks it was all done so quickly Felice is really lovely and explained everything to me Ulash was just the best always there for me the nurses were great to always making sure i was ok i for one would highly recommend coming to this hospital now i am in hotel for two nights before i go home A++++++++

I am 2 days post op. I fly home tomorrow. Everyone I've spoken with who is here having the same procedure has had a different experience, some more positive, some not so. The overriding theme when we talk together is how pleased we've finally done it. My own experience, started just 2 weeks pre op. I decided I wanted it done & quickly. I researched a little and found CK to be saying the right things. I booked on a Tuesday and flew out the Saturday. We (i brought my sister aling) were met by Sebastian who dropped us at the hotel as I arrived early hours of Sunday. I walked to the beach, 10 mins away and watched the sunrise. Sunday at 2pm I went to the hospital, had my pre op checks done and had a really lovely long sleep. Our room was very basic, but comfortable, I saw other patients with bigger, nicer rooms. Didn't matter so much for me, but my sister. Day of op I had further tests and was deemed healthy enough to go down. I had my op at 2 pm. Unfortunately I reacted badly to the anaesthetic bit couldn't have been in a better place, the nurses were in and out of my room codtantky, checking on me, ensuring I was hydrated and pain free. I felt I was being very well looked after. My favourite person throughout this all was Fatma. I wish I could bring her home, she had such a calming, motherly nature, mopping my brow, talking with me, keeping me calm. She is someone very special and deserves high praise. My surgeon was lovely. He came in to see me as I'd had the reaction, he ensured everyone was doing what they should and was very sweet.
I'm early days and will update as my journey continues but I truly believe I chose the best. And I'm so excited for my future.

What can I say!?! As a registered health care professional I was very thorough with the research into which company to use for my gastric sleeve surgery. I made contact with a few I had narrowed it down to but CK Health were my final choice. I decided to travel alone and I have honestly never felt more cared for and looked after. From start to finish everything was smooth, so professional and all the staff were amazing. The hospital was a beautifully clean private hospital, all tests were thorough and everything was explained. Most of staff spoke great English and if not staff interpreted. I have been home a few days now and feel absolutely fine. The patient Co-ordinators need recognition as they were amazing, Arda was mine and he was lovely. I chose the VIP option which gave me the lovely Fatima at night which was reassuring, and an extra night in the hotel. I spent this time recuperating and getting into a routine with managing my liquid diet. It definitely meant I felt fine for the flight home on my own.
Having since spoken to others who had surgery in Turkey whose experiences were not as positive, I know I made the right decision! Thank you to all at CK Health, and for those who are unsure, do your research and hopefully this review will help towards your decision xx

From 1st contact back in February, I have received nothing but friendly courteous service. There was no pressure to continue, all left to process the information at my own pace—any question whether random or not was answered professionally. From the moment I confirmed my booking, including my husband's details as he was my companion, every detail was covered to ensure the care I was about to receive was right. From the 2 weeks before arrival, I was given a coordinator who dealt with any questions I had including sending out my itinerary 7 days before. even with my flight being delayed I received messages checking all was well. When I finally arrived and got through the airport I was greeted by CK's driver and taken to the hospital for check-in and 1st pre-ops. Once done we were taken to the room I would be staying in where I was offered a final meal. An ECG and bloods were taken then from midnight it was time to sleep/rest before the rest of the pre-ops in the morning. The thoroughness of the pre-ops is 2nd to none, so thorough I required an additional test to ensure my safety in theatre (there was an additional cost but this was optional, either pay and confirm surgery or decline and surgery be declined).
once getting the all clear it was time to pay and then get prepped for surgery.
recovery from surgery was personally difficult as I suffered hugely from gas pains and extreme tiredness which became a vicious cycle. 48hrs later I was discharged from the hospital with painkillers, stomach protectors, rennies and a month's supply of protein shakes. CK's driver then took us to a wonderful hotel with fabulous sea views. time to rest and walk away the gas pains. when it was time to head to the airport we were collected and dropped off with plenty of time. since returning home they are only a message away for any questions I may have.
So glad I chose CK Health, their professionalism, politeness, understanding and support during any anxity/tears of natural worries were soon settled.....

I could not fault CK Health one bit,from start to finish they made my life changing decision to have surgery so much easier,all staff were reassuring,communication was amazing and not once was I left feeling lost.
Timing with transfers to and from the hospital were always prompt,and I was always greeted with a warm welcome from all staff.
The staff at CK Health were amazing and I will always choose this company when ever I consider surgery in the future.

The most amazing experience from start to end.

I really can’t recommend CK enough.
From the moment I got in touch with Liza on WhatsApp, I felt no pressure.
Everything was explained and every question answered.

Everything was booked for me and I arrived at the airport to be welcomed by Sebastian who was lovely!

When I got to hospital, I was met by Arda who checked me into the hospital etc and showed me to my room.
Arda then took me for my chest X-ray and then I went back to my room for the night.

The nurses, albeit not being able to speak much English were so lovely and could not do enough! They put in my cannula which was painless and hooked me up to liquids.

The following morning, I was met by Ulash and Filiz took me down for all my pre-op checks. I had an ultrasound, heart checks, lung function checks, saw a lung specialist and also an anaesthetist.
Ulash and Feliz were there every step of the way, ensuring they translated everything and I fully understood.

I then went back to my room and was told my op would be in 10 mins so I got myself ready and then was taken down with Filiz.

Op was preformed and when I came back up I was hooked up to all things to check my obs.
Nurses were in and out all the time, ensuring I was ok, giving me pain relief and ensuring I had enough fluid hooked up so I did not become dehydrated.
The gas pain is awful but pain relief and walking with the lovely Fatima made it a lot better. Nurses ensured they were constantly taking my obs, took bloods to make sure there was no issues and nothing at all seemed too much for them.

Surgeon came in to see me a number of times to tell me things had gone well and also to check on me.

The hospital is SPOTLESS!

On the day of discharge, Sebastian took me to the hotel.
We did have some issues with the hotel but Arda was in hand every step of the way and was really good with me and my mum at this point.

Since coming home, I’ve felt 100x better. I’m only 5 days post op and feel great.
Poor Ulash had had a million messages off me and answered every single one since I’ve been home. He truly is an asset to CK.

All protein powders are provided for a month, along with stomach protector tablets for a few weeks which I will need to get some more from my GP when I’ve been to see them.

I honestly can’t recommend CK enough. It’s obviously scary going for surgery abroad but they kept my mind at ease the whole time to the point I had no anxieties at all!

From first speaking to john who actually listened to my situation and helped me book to then Arda being my co ordinator and I didn't have a single thing to worry about he organised everything from flights collection from airport to then traveling home but also popped in to see me to see how I was and just genuinely caring . Also ulash who was also co ordinator and translator such a lovely man we had many laughs and always came to see me so helpful. Filiz and Fatima were just adorable so loving and caring and Dr Erdem my surgeon absolutely amazing so reassuring and caring I felt at ease throughout the whole experience and both me and my husband were looked after so well by everybody taken from hospital to a lovely hotel then met and said goodbye to which meant an awful lot to us both . The whole medical team are a credit to ck health never change any of them . We will be back next year to see them all thank you xx
