We visited the Clarks Derby store yesterday to buy a new pair of toddler shoes. Gráinne was brilliant. She was very professional and friendly, putting my toddler at ease whilst she measured his feet. She took the time to advise us on the best shoe fits and genuinely cared about my son having the best shoes.

I was dreading having my little one’s feet measured as she is not one to sit still. Lucy was brilliant with her. So patient, calm and understanding. She was really thorough when measuring her feet and helping me to select some appropriate shoes. I left the store full of confidence that I had the perfect shoes and with a happy toddler who had really responded well to Lucy’s lovely nature. I can’t praise Lucy enough for how wonderful she is!

Served by Megan in Clarks in the Derbion (Derby). Could not have asked for a kinder, more patient woman to serve us. We needed my daughters feet measured and to pick out some sturdy winter school shoes. Megan was wonderful, incredibly gentle and patient despite my daughter having adhd and sensory issues meaning she was hyper and incredibly picky. Honestly made the chore I hate the most by far the easiest it has ever been. She's a huge asset to the company and I can't thank her enough

Jayden has been so very helpful today with my Daughters shoe fitting.
She's autistic and Jayden was so patient and calm with her. Thankyou for making that can be a stressful visit, brilliant and successful!

I went to return some shoes I had ordered online as they were not suitable. The girl at the counter seemed to have a problem with spelling my name "Mira" when she wanted my email address to process the return. She made me spell it twice which was annoying as I am 70 and very recently had a heart op. She eventually said I shall fetch someone else - without even apologising to me!!
I speak perfect English having taught French and English for 30 years in a well known secondary school in Derby.
The manageress eventually appeared and proceeded with NO DIFFICULTY at all to enter my email address and process the return.
Again NO APOLOGY WAS MADE.
Although I love Clarks shoes, I may NOT RETURN to the INTU DERBY shop again as I was very disappointed with the staff on Monday 28.10.2024.
If young staff need to undergo training with recognition of alphabets, spellings etc, please, carry this out.

We were helped by Josh (Josh.H). He was very skilled, friendly, chatty and made my son at ease. It was great to see a young person so happy to talk and engage a young boy into a conversation. He was also very helpful in finding the right shoes that fitted properly (he had to change the width and size few times).

We had some shoes fitted for our 18 month old daughter and were very happy with the service. Chloe was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, enabling us to get the first pair of shoes that properly fit our daughter. Chloe was also really friendly and put our kids at ease during the measuring/fitting, and it was a great experience all round.

Sienna was very helpful and kind. She was able to provide me best solutions and ordered what I was looking for online. Good character and high level of professionalism.

I visited two of the Clark’s stores today and had a completely different services with both. The East Midlands Outlet (McArthur Glen) store was one of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I took my little boy who is 2 years old to get his feet measured for some new shoes. He struggles in certain social situations and I explained that just after we arrived. I didn’t even get a hello and was just told to get him out of his pushchair and put him on a chair. We tried to measure him but he refused and started to get upset. He had to sit in a certain chair and I was told quite bluntly that he must bend his leg. After multiple tries, I was asked to leave and come back later on which I understood. I jokingly said ‘oh it’s a shame we can’t fit him in his pushchair’ I was snapped at and told ‘no he can’t be in there while I’m fitting’ It was the general attitude and unfriendliness to myself and my child during our visit that really upset me. I left immediately and returned back to Derby and went into our local store in Derbion. The ladies in there were amazing! I was approached straight away where I explained what had happened and they mentioned they had a room in the back that was quiet with certain toys and even a bubble tube. Chantelle had helped us once before so it was lovely to see a friendly face. She was so patient with my little boy and didn’t rush to measure him or try shoes on. I was constantly reassured that we didn’t need to rush and she made such an effort to try and calm my son down after he started to get upset again. The girls were all very positive and acknowledged the terrible service I’ve received at East Midlands outlet. I will definitely be returning to Derbion and thank the ladies so much for their kindness!

Didn't have much luck in the shop in The Derbion, so the assistant looked online and saw the item I wanted in stock at the warehouse.
They couldn't get access so they suggested I tried myself.
I found this to be a lot easier than when I was in the shop....

Our assistant Josh H made our visit to the store calm and successful for our purchase of school plimsolls and trainers.

We went to the derby store and we did not know how the ticket system worked until we were advised by a really helpful and diligent young man named Josh. He guided us through the fitting for our grandsons first walking shoes and was so professional and curtious, he is a credit to your company and we feel he is an ideal candidate for a junior management opportunity if you have one. Cheers Josh, top man and good luck for the future!

My experience was good I went in to pick up an order and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Had a great experience in Clarks in derbion with Josh H. He was super helpful and accommodating to allow me to find the best shoe for me!

Cian was brilliant with my daughter’s. One of which has sensory issues. Cian was really patient and explained everything to the girl’s. He was amazing for such a young lad .. I was really impressed and he’s an asset to your team for sure ! 👌🏽

Dre was incredibly good with both my children - so kind and down to earth. Thank you Dre!
