James and the team managed to book us in at really short notice when we were let down by another company. Highly recommended- worked tirelessly throughout the whole day, very attentive to our needs and careful with our belongings. Arrived on time and even did a second run to pick up some last bits from the garden. And all in the hottest day of the year so far! Sensibly priced for an A-class service, would highly endorse and will recommend to family and friends.

From initial consultation, James took the time to appropriately scope out the job and his professionalism gave me confidence compared to other removal companies that had quoted.

James maintained contact with us whilst we waited to complete and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. He even took the time to drop off hanger boxes to help with our preparations.

Excellent service from start to finish

I couldn’t be happier with the service from Claverings removal. From the first enquiry, communication was clear, friendly, and professional. On the day, the team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled all of my furniture with great care.

They were polite, respectful, and clearly experienced — nothing was damaged and everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. The whole move was far less stressful than I expected thanks to their calm and organised approach. James and Will kept us calm even when there was delays out of our control and were so accommodating all day.

Apologies for the delay in sharing my thoughts; moving to a new place can really put life on pause. I was recommended James, who promised excellent service, and he delivered exactly that. Our move was tricky since we needed to store everything before settling in later. In total, we interacted with James three or four times, and every single time, he and his team were incredibly professional and supportive. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Claverings Removals.

5 star experience, without a shadow of doubt. They knew exactly what they were doing and did it well. Whilst we only had a small property, we did have tricky angles for large furniture and they managed it all. Fully recommend. The team was professional and went above and beyond.

We’ve now used Claverings Removal for two separate moves, and both times they’ve been absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, the whole process was handled with professionalism, care, and efficiency.

Communication was excellent too – from booking through to completion, everything was clear, straightforward, and well-organised.

We had tried all of the big players in house moving who all wanted over £2500 for a 4 bedroom house and going from Horncastle area to Sheffield area, with 2 companies saying it would be pack one day and deliver the next.
A friend suggested Claverings and what a great experience. James came to quote and took video of all rooms including already packed boxes, which he used to calculate how many Luton Box vans were needed.
We only need 2 for a 4 bedroom house house (zero Wardrobes though). We appreciated this approach as fewer, lighter vehicles are better than one very large one!
We maintained communication until we agreed a move date and then James and his 2 man team arrived at 9am, were packed by 1pm, arrived at the new house at 3pm and were unpacked by 6pm. Extremely efficient.
We could not be happier with the move with Claverings and most importantly at such an expensive time for us, they were also very cost effective. Superb!

Used Lincoln branch for our relocation to Oxfordshire. Absolutely amazing! We were in the capable hands of James from assessment, quotation to completion of the transfer. He was aided by Adam and Zac on the day. Arrived promptly at 8am and completed by 5pm with everything installed at our new home. Highly recommend!!!

We recently used Claverings Property Solutions for our move, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The team was personable, friendly, and incredibly hardworking, going the extra mile to help us move everything—including heavy plant pots and gym equipment—with care and efficiency.

What really stood out was the respect they showed for our home—they took great care of our new carpets and made sure everything was just right before leaving. Excellent response and a difficult job done well (and quickly)!

We were the final drop after a long day for Dewy and Will packing up two vans and delivering to three separate locations. The piano they were moving wasn’t light by any means, and it was a tight space to manoeuvre it to where it needed to go. I genuinely think they used magic to do it - they did it so quickly and so expertly that in the time it took me to change my baby’s nappy, the piano was in situ! I didn’t even manage to see how they did it! I couldn’t believe how chipper they both were after such a long day and how lovely they were. I will absolutely be recommending them to anyone I know in the market for movers, and they will be the first people we call when we’re next in need of their services.

Dewy and Will made the difficult day of clearing my parents house so smooth. Their professional, friendly attitude and fast and brilliant packing skills, plus excellent piano wrangling made a potentially stressful time so much easier than I expected. They then distributed two vans worth to the correct 3 addresses back in Lincoln with no fuss. All communication was fast friendly and clear, I really appreciated dealing with real people I would totally recommend them. Thank you guys.

First of all it has been very remiss of me not to provide this review before but that’s what happens when you move house. Life as you knew it stops.
I was introduced to James and was assured he would do a great job and that is exactly what I got. It was a bit of an awkward move having to put all our possessions in storage prior to a later moving date. To cut a long story short we saw James on three or four occasions and the plus was he and the staff he brought with him were all first class and so helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Claverings Removals.

If I could give 10 stars I would! James & Will & the team were punctual, polite, efficient and friendly and adapted with great grace to everything we threw at them. They moved my elderly parents 200 miles from Lincoln to Surrey and it went without a hitch. Would definitely recomend to anyone in need of removals.

Absolutely Fantastic – 10/10 Service!

Our house moving process had been a nightmare—after selling five times and waiting over 30 months, we finally exchanged contracts. But at the last minute, we had very short notice to move, and the companies I had quotes from couldn’t do it. That’s when Claverings was recommended to me.

I contacted James aka Dewey, and luckily, he had availability on our moving day. He came round, gave us a very thorough quote, I had the details by the next day. Then, when our move date changed yet again, Dewey was incredibly accommodating and adjusted his schedule without hesitation.

On the day, he provided three vans and three movers—Dewey, Percy, and Pete—who worked tirelessly to make the move as stress-free as possible. Beforehand, they supplied all the boxes we needed, including wardrobe boxes, which was a huge help. When moving day came, they emptied our entire house, garden, and sheds in about three hours, handling everything with incredible care. Not a single item was damaged, and watching Dewey pack the vans was like watching the ultimate game of Tetris—pure precision!

Once at the new house, they unloaded everything with the same efficiency. Some of our furniture was large, heavy, and awkward to move, plus the garden was long, meaning multiple trips back and forth. Not once did anyone complain. They were smiling, helpful, and went above and beyond throughout the entire day.

I was more than happy to treat them to lunch and a well-earned tip at the end—they truly deserved it! But what really blew me away was that the very next day, Dewey personally arrived at our new home with a welcome card and a bottle of Prosecco. That level of care and customer service is rare.

We had loads of laughs throughout the day, and when it was time for them to leave we were sad to see them go.

I cannot recommend Claverings highly enough. If you need a moving company that is professional, efficient, and genuinely cares about its customers, look no further. 10/10!
