First and foremost, the lads that work for Claverings are really polite, friendly and hardworking. They put in an absolute shift last Friday to get us moved into our new home and I cannot fault a single one of them for the effort they put in. A special shout out to Zack (I think!) a young lad who worked his socks off all day from start to finish without so much as a huff or a puff. They constantly asked "where do you want this? Are you sure? Is this OK?" And took care with our items. They were conscious of larger items not scraping any walls and had a good systems of 'socks team' and 'shoes team' to get everything in without getting our carpets muddy.

Due to a unforseen staffing issues, we only had two men to begin with. Sam was reassuring and in constant contact. By the end of the day we had 7 lads getting stuff out of the vans and (on my request) unloading the remaining items into the garage for us to bring in when we had assembled our furniture. Later that evening, I had a knock on the door- a printer had been left behind in a van and Ross had come back in his own time to deliver it. Very kind and personal, which I doubt we would have had from a national chain.

I would recommend Claverings to anyone moving home. And not just because of the bottle of prosecco they gave us before they left 😅 a lovely touch especially for a very stressed mum of a 2 year old!

I had arranged with Sam for Claverings to collect my belongings and put them in storage.
All seemed great until the day of the move when although friendly, the three guys struggled to lift and maneuver the bigger items through doors and round the side of the house. This is when i realised they was not as professional as first thought.
Later on Sam contacted me to tell me they needed 2 containers instead of one to store my stuff. Obviously Iwas not happy as i had already budgeted but okay then.
Two months had passed and I had wanted to access my items.
I was led to believe it was 24/7 access. I had arranged with Sam and gave him over 48 hours notice that i wanted access.
He said there would be someone there to meet me at the storage location.
No one was there, I phoned Sam and told him, he then said he would sort it and phone me back.
He didnt and was then ignoring my calls.
A wasted trip and a waste of time. I found this shocking and cowardly behavoir.
Sam eventually text hours later then ignored my call again after trying him while he text me.

I tried again to access my items. This time i gained access from the site owner to discover the containers were damp and not insulated- as advertised.
But the worse thing was the 2nd container i was paying for was had 3 items of mine in, these could of easily been stored in my other one! On top of that, the 2nd container I was paying for was actually someone elses!
I had full access to all of there stuff.
This is disgusting that mine and another persons items were not kept seperate or safe and the fact Claverings were charging us both (more than likely) twice.
I got my belonging out of there as quick as i could and would suggest you look elsewhere for a removals company.
Clavering did reimburse me the charge for the 2nd but only had i checked this wouldnt have been the case!
This experience leaves me to think how other many people this cowboy outfit has scammed.
Steer well clear!

Easy and stress free moving experience with Claverings.
Had two really friendly guys who were happy to move all my furniture, even a few smaller bits, from a first-floor flat into a house, plus drop off a few items at a second location.
Couldn't fault them and would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a moving/removals company.

The Claverings team have been so helpful and professional. When we found out we had only a week before we needed to move out of our home and couldn't find anyone that could move us on the date we needed they agreed to move our things into storage before our deadline and within 5 days. Doing a estimated cost off a video as they were unable to get to the property to do a quote in person. Their communication has been great throughout and upon arrival they were both friendly and polite getting the job done quickly but carefully. I would definitely recommend them and if I ever move again they will be the movers I use.

I would highly recommend Claverings! What could of been a very stressful day, turned out to run very smoothly. James and the team were so helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Cannot speak highly enough with our move with Claverings. So much care and attention to detail with moving items into storage promptly and efficiently. Sam was always available to discuss options with dates and offer solutions. The team on both days, James, Jay, John and Chris were excellent a real credit to the company and look forward to seeing them when we come out of storage. From start to finish the service was exceptional. The men on the day were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, even helped us swap washing machines around. Really helped make the day a whole lot easier. Would highly recommend.

We recently moved house and decided to use Claverings after being recommended by friends.
Proved to be a really great decision. Sam accommodated numerous date changes which helped manage the stress levels.
On the day of moving, Dewie, Adam, Phil and their team did a fantastic job. They were so professional, polite and friendly which made a long day so much more easier.
