Clayton Wood natural burial ground is set in 15 acres of countryside within the South Downs National Park. You can be part of a new English wood that will be protected from development. Situated below the Jack and Jill Windmills, our beautiful site has various dedicated areas for full natural burial and cremated remains, as well as memorial scattering lawns, surrounded by native trees for future generations to enjoy.

Clayton Wood...Beautiful natural burial ground under the South Downs
To find such a lovely place for Mum & Dad's ashes to be interred was great.
A huge thankyou to Tess for all her kindness, time, support and advice as she went above and beyond. There was an issue with the engraving on the plaque when it arrived and Tess offered to drive to Hampshire at the weekend to pick up a replacement plaque. In the end the engraver delivered it but the fact Tess was prepared to do this is amazing.
I know my parents are in the perfect place and my thanks to everyone that work at Clayton Wood.

A fitting venue
The room for the service is simple and elegant, with lots of natural light and a beautiful view.
The staff were helpful and friendly and found a peaceful spot between two trees for our dad. Thank you!

The wonder of Clayton and its staff.
In difficult times, the staff at Clayton look after you and ensure that the laying to rest of a loved one is as good an experience as it could be. The ground itself is a lovely location, restful and peaceful. There is no better place for a loved one to be laid to rest.
