An excellent experience - from first contact through a finalized agreement with the IRS, Clean Slate Tax team kept me in the loop, gave me excellent advice, and ultimately fully executed what they promised. I continue to use them for my yearly tax returns and completely recommend them to anyone with a tax issue hanging over them.

From the first contact with Clean Slate to my final day EVERYTHING was transparent, professional and incredibly friendly, straight forward and honest.

No false promises and they kept us in the loop all the time. They promised no more than they could deliver and delivered everything they set out to do.

A pay garnishment and HUGE tax burden was lifted and settled, as they had originally planned.

They just care about the money. At first they seem to be very helpful & very assuring. I had explained the problem to them how many times & the lawyer mr. Chi kept making mistakes in sending the papers required by IRS. So it almost a year just correct one mistake. I kept asking to postpone my last payment because I have no money left since IRS took all our money. They are the ones who said that if I encounter problems on payment I can always talk to them. Now they just took away my money earlier than my payment date without any notice. And I didn't have money in my account so I have to pay the bank the fee. My case with IRs is not yet resolved & I dont know if it will ever get resolved. Very unprofessional selfish company.

Clean Slate is the best! When I first spoke to Joe Pirrotta, I didn’t think Clean Slate Tax could help me much - in spite of my being a retired senior on a fixed income. I hadn’t filed tax returns for 5 years. And it’s like I told Joe - it was an accident! Life started beating me down one blow after another, and everytime I sat down to do them, like I always had - my brain shut down. So I was desperate by the time I contacted Clean Slate. The truth is, Clean Slate got me exactly the result they said was possible. Because they’re good & they know what they’re doing. And bc they know what they’re doing, they have a great relationship with the IRS - who loves folks who get it right the first time. They honor their word & very affordable.

When I contacted Clean Slate Taxes, I owed the IRS over $40k and I had already paid 2 other scam companies over $3500 each to protect my house from IRS TAX LEINS, penalty abatement, and to do an “Offer in Compromise” which I was told would protect my assets, wipe out penalties and fees that were racking up, and would save me thousands. Neither company did anything to help, I was getting stressful letters from the IRS, and I was dealing with mounting medical bills. That all changed when I contacted Clean Slate Taxes. They provided me with a fantastic case manager who collected information from me to get a real understanding of my case, they did a complete tax analysis for the past ten years, they were honest, responsive, and most importantly very good at what they do. My case manager didn’t make any empty promises to get me hooked, he worked hard and diligently on my case and gave me real expectations about what my options were and what to expect. They provided correction of my last three tax returns, got me in compliance so all the stress and worry of getting IRS letters in the mail would stop, and most importantly because of their relationship and hard work with the IRS, I now have a manageable payment plan that fits in my budget, I no longer feel the IRS is out to get me, and I don’t loose anymore sleep because I know that “Joe” and their team of attorneys and tax specialists” Have my back and from my first free evaluation call until now, They have provided excellent Customer Service, great Technical support, very fair prices (considerably less than the $4k dollars I paid two other companies who were listed on several websites as one of the top ten). Do your research, read your service contract closely and carefully, and don’t allow yourself to get ripped off like I did, because there are companies that have no problem taking your hard earned money, promising you they can get all these fees and penalties erased and wiped out and most of the time, that’s not the case. Do yourself a favor, call Clean Slate Taxes, they are the real deal and you will get your IRS problems behind you.

I called Clean Slate Tax when my Social Security was garnished in 2019 by the IRS for taxes due in 2006. JOE responded to my urgent situation immediately with a detailed course of action and helped me "settle down" to handle the situation. This company took care of my long term IRS Debt. I ended up with an Offer from the IRS for about 1% of my stated tax obligation. I wanted to give credit where credit is due. I owed more than $150k in tax debt. I contacted Clean Slate and they agreed to help. We agreed that going for the OIC would be the best route. We submitted the OIC and then played the waiting game. It took some months for the IRS to give a response but once they did, we were sooooo relieved. The IRS had accepted the $395 offer!!! YES, $395. I was beyond thankful for the team at Clean Slate. Sean was very professional and knew what he was doing even though our calls were quick(they have a lot of work):). The fee they charged was literally pennies on the dollar for what I owed the IRS. Just know that even though they might take a little to respond to your calls, emails, etc..they ARE working on your case. I will always recommend them without a doubt to anyone who has IRS debt. And of course they will be doing my taxes from now on as I am self employed. HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOR TAX RELIEF!! Thank You Guys!

To begin with, I have rarely been treated with this much actual care and concern, as I have had with Clean Slate Tax as a whole, as well as individually. I researched a few tax services and decided on Clean Slate. They ended up being the only call I made. In my first call, I was connected with Joe Pirrotta. You just can't ever ask for a better man. Once I explained what was going on, Joe made me the promise that he would take care of me and that promise has never been broken. Hell, he even too the time to call me on my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years 2016/2017. Who does that anymore? This is just a guess, but I have called and/or been called by Joe, at least 70-80 times in the last year. He never is in a rush to get off the phone with me. He listens. He cares. He takes care of whatever is going on.

The other person I have had the pleasure of dealing with, is Bianca. She is my personal tax attorney. Also very cordial, very caring and extremely competent. Sure, I have had slightly fewer interactions with Bianca, but she also made me a promise. She also has never faltered on that promise. While this case was being "dealt with", the NC Dept of Rev, cleared my bank account. Bianca got them to reverse that action and return every last penny, to my account. How freaking cool is that? She was also able to get my IRS issue, completely wiped....well....CLEAN. Again, how freaking cool is that?

Now I don't know just how many employees there are at Clean Slate Tax, but if the rest of them are just half as good as these 2 that I got hooked up with, this should be your only stop, for all of your tax problems. I was looking at well over $40,000 in taxes and fees. I could have faced federal and state tax charges. I thought about just going into hiding at one point. Then these guys stepped in. I could type for hours, but that would still not be enough time, to tell you all the great things about them. Just call them. You will see exactly what I mean.
