As my ear wax builds up quite frequently, I have used clearearwax.co.uk several times over the years. This time was, as ever, excellent - quick, painless service from Vivek, with immediate benefit. The company also offers services at a large number of locations in London, making it very convenient.

Very friendly and professional service. Also the Dr, (Mohammed), noticed that I have a shaking hand and kindly gave a bit of advice regarding it.

I attended the Ealing clinic because my ears were blocked. I was advised to go away for five days and use olive oil drops before returning for the procedure. I followed these instructions exactly.

I returned to the clinic for the microsuction procedure. I understand that this procedure is normally described as mainly painless, with perhaps some pulling or pressure. However, during the procedure the practitioner hit something inside my ear which caused intense, immediate pain. I have never experienced pain like it. I jumped off the bed in absolute agony and was in tears. I told the practitioner that it felt as though I had been stabbed in the ear.

When I returned home later, my ear was bleeding and remained very wet. Since the appointment I have experienced continued brownish bleeding throughout the night, as well as throbbing and ringing in the ear. I have also noticed new popping in my ear and pain that I did not have before the procedure.

What concerned me further was the practitioner’s response. He appeared very dismissive and did not apologise. He simply said that he had hit my eardrum and did not offer any reassurance, advice, or follow-up care and said it will be ok in 2 days and to call him if there was a problem (I have no number for him).

This experience has left me very worried about possible damage to my ear. I would like the clinic to investigate what happened during this appointment and explain how this occurred.

Waiting for a response from the clinic

Was a little late as parking isn't the easiest. Seen very promptly, she told me that both hears were badly blocked and used liquid to soften it and suction to clear both ears. Took a short period of time, I can hear fully and also was given advice as to what to do to keep them clean in future.

Absolutely awful.

I had an appointment booked in for today at 2:45pm, there was no clinician present at the centre. After half an hour of trying to get hold of someone on the phone, I was told the clinician had an issue and was asked if I could return at 4:15pm.

I returned at 4:15 and still, no clinician. I was told he would turn up in 10 minutes and half an hour later he still hadn’t arrived

Please don’t use these clowns, there are many other options

Odonchimeg at Liverpool street was amazing. Brilliant service and completely professional! Highly recommend to anyone who needs earwax removal service.

Pranto Sorker From the Maidenhead branch was great, explained everything well and did a fantastic job, quick and easy, my hearing was back to normal after removing wax, great job, highly recommended.

The term “Specialist” is a stretch for the person that saw me.

All she did was move the ear wax in my ear and then leave it saying she’s done all she can. Refused to try some more. Caused more pain and discomfort than before. Had to go to another clinic to get it cleaned. They did it in 15 minutes with no fuss.

She barely introduced herself or said anything useful.

Avoid at all costs

Second visit to see Mugunth at the Bexley clinic. Both appointments seen on time, by a very professional, friendly and knowledgeable guy. Second visit was necessary due to unmovable impacted hard wax causing pain and hearing loss. Four days later having followed Mugunth’s advice of spraying olive oil into the outer ear canal 3 times daily, a large plug of earwax was easily removed. Normal hearing returned immediately as well as a huge sense of relief as I am due to fly imminently.

Professional service performed calmly and clearly, with detailed instruction on what was being done. Ears cleaned meticulously by P Sorker. Communal entrance hallway and staircase not great but treatment room immaculate

Great friendly service & felt incredible afterwards.

This is 1 star, only because there is no option for zero stars. Beware of these people. I booked my appointment and paid my £25 deposit only to receive notice from them - the night before - that they wished to cancel. They promised to refund the deposit, as they are duty bound to do.  They still have not done so. Beware of these people


Mugunth was excellent. Did a great job and was really friendly.

Mugunth was great, perfect bedside manner and made me feel at ease and my ears are now clear!

Wow. This was such an easy process, took 5 minutes. Mugunth was brilliant - efficient, pleasant, and professional.

Mugunth cleared my blocked ears very thoroughly and gently! Would definitely recommend this service!
