I'm so dissapointed

I'm so dissapointed. I was excited about getting this new phone for privacy reason. Within the two first day, the screen shattered without me dropping it. It's very sensitive phone. I called to see if they could help me but because I hadn't purchased their insurance plan of 100$ us per month, they said they couldn't do anything. I ended up tossing this phone and keeping my old iPhone since I didn't want to spend more money of this phone. One thing though they were kind when speaking to them. They just couldn't do anything and no company where I live was able to replace the screen since they don't have the model. I thought since I called within the first time, they would be able to do an easy exchange while they repair the screen but they couldn't.

Terrible Service Provided by a Discreditable Network

The poor reception was one reason for leaving Clear Mobile, but that I had calls made to America - on one day there was a total of 15, some lasting four minutes others for only a matter of seconds - charged to my bill over a four month period was my second reason for leaving Clear Mobile.
But thinking that they would not be able to charge me the latest bil,l since my bank card was changed for renewal purposes and I had prematurely left the network, I found a new bill on my mobile banking app this morning in which nearly €30, rather than the advertised €13 was taken from my account.
How a network without being informed by me of my new card details can continue to take money from my account is beyond me. I tried their online chat service. However, all the online customer service employee did was repeat the refrain: how no such thing has ever happened before; that there was never any (I hate saying the word) hackings in the network’s history; and that it is fully secure, so the calls must have been made by my phone, did not leave a satisfactory fell about it.
Well, I live alone, I have no contact with any American relatives, I cannot fathom how I would ring someone 15 times in one day alone - sometimes for only a few seconds - and my phone is always beside me and locked.
So would it not have been more wiser to admit the mistake, apologise, and not take money from my bank account when I did not consent to pay the additional charges to America.
In conclusion, they are an unprofessional, unscrupulous company, who provid a terrible network service, that not only has a poor and restricted reception, but, also, always that annoying, muffled sound.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Clear mobile is not a runner I cannot recommend their to anyone. Their customer support is worthless if you want to Mobile service with any reasonable professional level of support go to a real mobile service provider clear mobile is not one of those

Dose this Company exist ??Dreadful customer experience

I have been trying for the past 2 days to contact Clear mobile owned by Vodafone a brick wall every time so i contacted Vodafone as an ex customer and asked them to put me through to Clear Mobile as I was having difficulties another brick wall they cannot even give me a contact number or email, I am trying to figure out do they not want new business or just could not be bothered?

Previously rated 5 but today they suspended 4 of my numbers JUST LIKE THAT

This WAS 5 STAR review as moved 5 numbers to them. Today however got email that “ As requested, your Clear Mobile account has been suspended.” and phones stopped working 1h later.

Agent explained “… someone has claimed that you have provided false data on your account and so as per the regulations, we had no choice but to suspend your account. We need your help to get it sorted.”

WHO HAS ACCESS TO MY DATA TO MAKE THAT ACCUSATION?

HOW JUST LIKE THAT WITHIN 1h THEY CAN BREAK THE CONTRACT.

The worst Phone Company ever

The worst Phone Company ever! and that takes some doing!!!!! Was supposed to swap from Vodafone to Clear Mobile and keep my old phone number on December 20th, now Jan 20th and Vodafone have disconnected old number and Clear mobile still have not transferred the number over to them.. have sent endless messages to them and they keep telling me they are working on it but nothing happens. COMPLETE DISASTER, STAY CLEAR!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Signed up,got sim card in the post. I inserted the sim and when phone restarted,my wife said that I had just sent her a mms from the new number. I had sent nothing. It was an mms I had sent months ago. A friend rang me to say he had received a txt with my name on it from a strange number. The reason my name was on it was because it was a txt I had received but had forwarded on to him,again months ago. When I spoke on the chat help,they could offer no real explanation. All I was told was they could cancel the contract and when I started a new contract to contact them and they'd refund me the original contract charge. I just told them I'd take the hit for the €15 and leave it at that. Shocking to say the least,and I have no idea who else go texts from that new number either.

Very disappointed.

I was very happy with clear mobile till my phone was stolen , the problem only occurred when I needed sim replacement , I am now five working days still no sim , contacted clear on several occasions customer care brutal I am told I have to wait 2 to 3 more days to see if the sim arrives, I am so frustrated this is hardly acceptable in this day and age . Any other network I could of collected a sim card at a shop any day of the week, I will update this review when this situation is resolved. I would leave zero Stars only I have to leave one to leave a review. Just to update this review I received sim card but from the time phone was stolen to sim replacement was a total of ten days I was able to divert calls at My own expense. This was my only fault with clear mobile. Which is a pity as phone signal is fine.

Shambles stay well clear

I was trying to save money by porting from Vodafone where I was paying 60e per month to Clear for a similar deal for 15e per month - seems like a no brainer right!! Wrong !!! Farcical so called customer care where the only way you can contact them is either via social media platforms and I have neither and nor want any , so leaves me with web chat ,where agents with poor grammar and speak like robots repeating themselves, for those thinking I'm being harsh then I'll explain = the mistake I made was not reading reviews , so on 6th December I paid the 15e fee to sign up and gave 3 weeks notice to port over my existing number , the 15e was taken and I got the clear sim within days , I was lead to believe all I need to do was pop in the clear sim and away I go , on the 22nd clear applied to have the number removed from vodafone and this was done straight away , so i popped in my clear sim and now 9 days later I'm still not on the clear network , I'm basically in limbo with no one, I missed a vaccine apt and my sons ortho apt because I had no phone to receive texts , I've spent 8 days texting clear customer care and listening to the same BS everyday , promised this never happens and it's a one off [ bare faced lies ], 8 days later they finally admit they've no idea whatever what happened and cant give me an answer because my number is stuck and they cant release my number to go anywhere else , basically I've to wait they told me for it to be active with clear to leave them again or I'll loose my number which I've had the same one for 22 years , to be fair vodafone are trying to help as at least have a human you can speak with but even though they own clear , clear operates independently- laughable both are in the same leopardstown premises, but it is what it is ehh, I made a mistake and I've learned a hard lesson that cheap isnt always good and I'm angry for not researching better , so 9 days later I've still no phone so safe to say I Dont recommend Clear Mobile and I recommend everyone stays clear and this isn't an isolated incident. Read the reviews everywhere.

Impressed with Clear Mobile

Switched from Vodafone a month ago. Very impressed. Switching was easy. Coverage is great no issues. I am saving €27 a month for the exact same plan as I was on. Yes there's no phone no. for customer service but I have had to use the messaging option with an agent twice during switch over for couple queries and both times messaged with knowledgeable employees and got issues sorted or got answers there and then. Highly recommended!

GOOD

My experience after using CLEAR mobile for a week. Great coverage in Dublin 9.Data speed is capped at 5 Mbps but is steady in that speed no fluctuations, so streaming content is ok. Call quality is very good. Very happy so far.
Wifi calling option shows up in settings, but it's still not enabled on the plan. It's a bit of a shame as GOMO is already offering wifi calling at the same price. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star

STAY AWAY

Whatever you do, stay away from this company. They make false promises, their customer service is friendly but doesn't do what they say they do. I got emails for months after I cancelled my contract telling me that I am being billed for a service I did not use. I got a confirmation that my account was deleted but found out later that it was not. Nothing but a headache - I switched to Three and was much happier. Coverage was poor and the billing is misleading.
