Purchased this camera a few years ago, worked perfectly. Recently I have had to start using it again and its awful. Advert, after advert before you can see whats going on! I'll be going to Ring for a new one....do not buy - waste of time.

Crap - Ads now appearing and you can't access cameras in app for sometimes up to 5 minutes as you have to wait for ads to play. I thought the idea of a security camera was for quick access to see what is happening at home in an emergency. I am going to throw them in the bin. Stay away from this Chinese muck and buy a reputable brand.

Disastrous decision if you intend to or have purchased a Cleverdog camera.
It is absolutely disgraceful that the seller for this camera is allowed to continue to advertise and sell this useless junk. Not fit for purpose and dangerous for anyone trying to protect property. Adverts Adverts

The actual camera and app are amazing!
However after years of working well you now have to sit through a ridiculous amount of gaming ads when you open the app. Even if you exit out of them, another pops up.
If you’re in a hurry to check the camera you are out of luck!
So incredibly disappointing, I use to tell everyone about Clever Dog, honestly can’t recommend it now (even if you are a gamer!) Still a great camera but there are others out there that don’t come with all the ads

Terrible pet camera. This used to be brilliant, was great for checking on the dogs while we were out. Now there are advert after adverts for games that it tries to make you download before you get to the actual camera footage (presumably) I have not actually got there. Thought it was an issue with our WiFi until I read the other recent reviews. I’ve given up, I don’t want to download any games but also what else is it doing behind the scenes! It’s going in the bin. Shame when good products go bad!!!!

It is outrageous that Clever Dog now has compulsory adverts on the app. You will have to wait to close each advert before you can get to the cameras. Don't buy Clever Dog. You will be very disappointed. I am having to replace all mine now with Blink.

After many years of using Clever dog security cameras without the numerous annoying adverts I've finally got totally fed up with them and have decided to use a different product. It's their own loss.
It would be nice to know if they are willing to re-introduce an Add-free version.

Use cameras when we leave the house unattended. Until today they've been fine but this time, like many others, we've found that we can't access the app without watching adverts first.

So after this trip we'll be getting something else and they won't have the revenue from the adverts anyway, and neither will be buying their products again.

So pointless really

When I first bought a camera there were no adds now it bombards you with them!! I paid for the cameras why do I have to accept these adds? Very very poor don’t buy

Pointless having this as full of ads and makes functionality inefficient. Have to get rid of it

I previously thought this was a good product with a decent app for the price but now I think very different. Clever dog have now added adds to a paid product which was originally app free, absolutely ridiculous. Will definitely be buying a new camera and going to avoid this brand going forwards.

I bought this camera and had been pleased with it, however, recently I now have to watch 2 or 3 adverts and also click out of the option to download the app screen that it automatically takes me to, before I can see my camera. I sometimes want to just check it quickly as I’m time limited and this isn’t possible now. I can understand why free apps make you watch adverts but it’s not acceptable when you have bought a product. I wouldn’t buy again and will be sourcing an alternative product. I therefore wouldn’t recommend it unless they remove the adverts altogether.

Did like my clever dog. Basic but did the job. Now it's all ads before my security. No way out. Even when ad finishes there is another. JUST THROWN CAMERA IN BIN. What a waste. I have other camera so will use them. What a stupid business model and waste of the earth's resources.

Like the cameras but the app it unusable. The amount of ads you have to get through before it allows you to see the cameras is REDICULOUS!
It's making me have to replace my Cleverdogs with something else.

I Invested in five of these camera over time and they were ideal for a good few years.
Now every time I want to access the cameras I have to watch three or four adverts for games apps.
DO NOT I repeat do not waste your money on these cameras now as they have killed off their own product.
Emailing them is pointless as they never reply.
Maybe they now develop and produce the games that they heavily advertise as that seems to be the priority for them now.
Providing a service for the owners of the cameras has gone and it was all good to begin with. What a tragedy. All that money wasted buying cameras and I was going to add more in other rooms for security. Not now for sure.
They will wonder soon why demand for the cameras is declining

The initial reason people have invested in clever dog is for security. It's a must for anyone who wants to use surveillance for there grounds. Why do we need to see advertising on a product that should be fit for it's purpose. Cleverdog you have BREACHED your own security so nope for your customers now. Time to move on from this. Wish Ali.com and other cheap products have put you to shame.

Adequate camera but out of the blue started downloading questionable adverts making it impossible to access the camera feed

DONT BUY !!! Had these cameras for few years now suddenly all these ads you cannot instantly access cameras anymore until ads are over . Now I must buy new cameras I have blink in my other home no problem at all . CLEVERDOG YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED

Used Cleverdog for nigh on 15 years and now have to change because of the addition of ads before you can access the camera feed. Useless!

As with so many others, use to love this camera but the introduction of ads to the app has now made it almost unusable. I left a comment on their facebook page (cleverdog camera) and in the apple app store, but I doubt if they ever respond to the complaints on there either.
