The adverts. Impossible to dismiss them. The close link just takes you to the Play Store or another download page so you can't access the camera. You have to close them and retry opening the clever dog app, for the whole sorry process to start all over again. Useless!

Useless now due to ads, no longer usable due to stupid ads. Used to be great now I’ll have to throw it out

AVOID !!!!! Can’t access cameras due to Ads . Use to be great - now unusable.

The appearing of ads when you open the app to check your camera. It is not possible anymore to get a quick glance on the camera because of these ads. So sad, it was perfect before.

Adverts when opening app the WORST idea ever, if you face an emergency and need to see the camera stream promptly be prepared to have to watch pointless adverts for silly games before access; ripping my two camera out and getting rid. Avoid this product.

The cameras used to be great but now the app shows multiple ads before being able to view, NOT GOOD in emergency security alert will bin them now and never recommend to anyone to buy totally useless app. DO NOT BUY unless another app can be used.

1) The Issue is that: ***BEFORE YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR CAMERA, YOU HAVE TO ENDURE A PLETHORA OF UNWANTED ADVERTS!***
2) This is NOT GOOD because THIS DELAY means that in the event of an incident, you WILL MISS the opportunity to view the incident and to take photos or identify the offender!
3) CLEARLY, CleverDog ***IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE*** AS ***IT DOES NOT FUNCTION IN A TIMELY MANNER*** ***AS DESCRIBED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE!***
4) CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXTREMELY POOR! - I contacted them 14 days ago about this ***totally unacceptable issue*** and ***they have still not responded!***

I’d review with less than 1 star if I could. Used these cameras for a while but now with the ads they spam you with they’re a waste of time!! I’ll be throwing the cameras away and replacing! Don’t waste your money! 😡😡🤬

I am looking for replacement alternatives to my clever dog security cameras as the adverts have made the app not fit for purpose.
I have informed everyone I know who have been looking for some easy to use security cameras Not to use clever dog.

Clever Dog WAS very good but now before one can see through the camera an advert comes up and even though there's an x to get rid of it, it dont go until the advert is finished. This is a security camera and in the event of an incident one needs immedate conection to the camera. It is no longer fit for purpose.

The cameras used to be great and easy to use. However, now in a recent emergency I could not access the cameras quickly due to a concession of game adverts. And not just small adverts but full screen sized! Clicking the X only takes you to another screen with another game advert. Plus the volume of the advert is so loud and you can’t shut it off. Which means you can’t check your pets, discreetly, while you’re out and about because everyone can hear the loud gaming noise!
These cameras are now going in the bin as they are literally useless now!

I used to love Cleverdog cameras - not expensive and top quality, but ...
The new app has made the cameras unusable. The app has introduced adverts which in itself is just an irritant. But the adverts have LOUD sound whether you've minimised sound of not, and even worse, as fast as you close one another opens. Takes ages before it lets you through by which time you've given up. Whatever problem Cleverdog was notifying you about has long since gone. Time to ditch and buy something else.

Before you can view the camera you have to put up with numerous ads .

As others have said I can’t now access the camera for bloody adverts, completely useless to me now, another piece of tech resigned to the bin because of greedy developers……don’t buy, it never used to be like this, it stinks!

The ads that you now have to watch make it impossible to quickly access the live feed, should you need to. That and the ads covering half the page means this is no longer fit for purpose and I will be switching to an alternative.
I understand that with many free apps that ads are needed, however this is an app that works solely with a camera product, and therefore when choosing and buying a camera I don’t think it is unreasonable to be able to access the live feed without the delay of numerous ads!

Adverts preventing using camera or device being of any use. This device is now of no use do not buy until this is fixed.

I have been using 3 cameras for years and years with no issues, now we have full page adverts with close down crosses which deviously take you to the game App download site. We now have to wade through 3 adverts to get to the cameras, absolute joke, I am now dumping the lot and seeking a different system as there is no way of turning them off. Your sales will drop off a cliff with this issue, you obviously don't care about your customers. this is a pop up stitch up, DO NOT BUY THIS!

Since recently I am forced to look at a number of full screen advertisements. This takes many minutes before you can see your camera wijding is against the reason to buy them.ma burglar is not gonna wait until the advertisements have gone. Moreover, the customer service does not react to emails how to avoid these advertisements, Shame and pity it worked ok until recently.

Had 4 of these for a while now, worked great for the cost, pictures and videos not brilliant but usable, motion detection inconsistent, but still handy to view the house when away, then a year or so ago you had to endure adverts before you could use cams, this has got worst until I was completely blocked from the cams, I have read since these are quite insecure cameras and are easy to hack for who ever wish’s to, I can’t see anybody buying this product now, they will have to change the brand name, I recently bought different cameras off eBay, these were locked out of use unless you purchased their paid app which was 130 odd quid, nothing on their advert, so avoid all this rubbish out there and buy a well known make like Ring cameras, so worth the money and easy to set up, I bought 4 the other day, you don’t really need the paid app, hopefully Ring don’t start doing the same practice in the coming years.
