Had my camera and app for a couple years. In the last few days the app won't work.
Tried to contact support but no reply. What ever they did. Change it back

I am surprised at the low score rating, but I have been very pleased with my device. It has been monitoring the inside of my campervan for many years now. My only issue is the no response to a question to the service center regarding the location of the user-defined location photo.

Actually I'm a little shocked at these reviews as my CLever Dog cameras x2 and doorbell have been reliable and they were all on one device, my phone, however, it is only when I updated my BT internet to bt super broadband and all appliances went wi-fi did my issues start. I wonder if, it's all down to the appliances, (maybe it lies with the router) and should I sort it, because I'm a persevering type of person who hates to be beaten, I will be back with solutions.

I suppose these are cheap devices but Clever dog has zero customer support and that's useless with a product like this.
I agree with other reviewers, don't buy.

Had one for a while, once I changed my WiFi provider it would not set up no matter what I tried. Terrible device. Never ever buy one!!!

I now have 2 outdoor and 1 inside cameras and the reason is ever since my experience with first camera 3 years ago
I am happy with quality of vision, and easy access anywhere in the world through the app.
Reason for only 4 stars is I would like to be able to see all cameras on one device and not on 3 ! Apart from that thank you Cleverdog

Great features and easy to setup but it just does not work. I have SD card connected. Wifi router 2m away, in in same room and the app drops out continuously, will not play live, will not play stored vdo on SD card.

DO not buy Product, there are serious issue with related to it.
1. application is worst, it does not ready video or stream video most of the time, it can not detect human correct, many time people visit my home it don't screen grab. so it is not possible for you to see when things happened,
2. you can not save video from app , you will require to remove SD card from camera and then through computer you can export video which no one is going to do that. Most time when you hear sound or someone entering your property it take ages or crash when you mostly need and it does not work, it wont show latest recording of last 15 minute so if something happened and you want to see straight aware you can you will have to wait 15 minute for camera to shows those video in your app,.
there are uncountable issue , camera and its video looks good but when you see recorded video they are recorded at very slow frame rate , you will hardly identify any one and it missed action of people because of slow frame rate. please avoid their camera, they also don't have website to stream watch , only option throup app

I purchased two of these cameras they lasted about a year then both died.
When they did work they constantly dropped off the WiFi and had to be turned off and on.
I would never purchase again -- AVOID.

Diabolical non existent customer service. I have several indoor and outdoor cameras. If one faulters you are unable to get any reply from the manufacturer. It is so frustrating as generally the products work quite well. It's when they don't you might aswell throw the camera away!!!!!!

I have recently moved flat and needed to reconnect the cameras to the new WiFi network. That has proven to be impossible, no matter how troubleshooting videos from unsuspecting users with the same problem, following the steps of resetting, and not to mention the poor quality of images and the service dropping off and going offline frequently when it did work, and the WiFi issues that it came with when it tried to be a WiFi server at home!! I have reported my issues every time to Cleverdog but no one ever responds. It is very disappointing that I have wanted £80 now, as I had the memory cards too! Having read other reviews it appears it’s not a one- off, I should have read the reviews before purchasing the item!

The cameras are ok, night vision, sound etc. but, DO NOT BUY!
Read the Play Store reviews of the app. The software doesn't work, support is none existent and you'll feel robbed when the cameras arrive and you have no way of using them.

I have had two wireless indoor Cleverdog cameras for a few years now (did have three but had to throw one due to notifications issues) and initially they were reliable and did a decent job, but over the last couple of years they continually go off line and will not connect again until you turn off at the wall, wait 30sec and turn back on - A bit difficult when you are away from home for extended periods and kind of defeats the object of having them in first place.
I don’t understand what is happening to trip them offline other than if perhaps voltage flutters? I have two BT cameras and fortunately they don't behave like my cleverdog cameras and can be relied upon when we are away!
My firmware is always up to date and also any app update is always installed, so its not that! Gone from a good device to totally unreliable for some reason.

Poor customer service, Doesn't connect anymore after only 1 month of use, 2 weeks waiting for a reply, absolutely a waste of time and money.

Shocking do not buy it - this stupid item keeps stealing the WiFi at my property- literally it sets itself up as a router - so you have a choice of either a very bad quality camera with poor sound and speaker quality and no WiFi at all OR - WiFi and this thing says it’s off line - can not connect - it’s so weird! I’ve tried this again and again since I brought it months ago !! A real waste of time and my money ! Want to save others from making this mistake ! I have reported my issues every time to ‘Cleverdog’but no one ever responds !! Very disappointed in this item and the company! Having read other reviews it appears it’s not a once off! I know I won’t get my money back but lesson learnt !

I give it one star simply because I cannot give it zero stars. What a lot of utter garbage. Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT waste your money on this product. It is shoddy, poor performance and completely useless. Nothing but consistent poor poor quality service, recording, speakers and internet connection. One of the worst investments I have every made. TRASH.

If I could give 0 stars I would, biggest load of rubbish ever bought, worked ok for a few days now nothing, won’t reconnect. Have tried contacting manufacturers for support and that was about as good as using a chocolate toffee hammer, not had any reply’s to emails.

I purchased the clever dog door bell camera as my dad has dementia. I already use a clever dog camera in my home, which is great. That's why I trusted that it would be as good.
Initially it was great, no issues. It contacted me on my smart phone and I could see and speak to whoever was at my door.
On my second time of recharging the lithium battery it lost all connection to WIFI. I contacted the company and all I got was an automatic email with instructions on how to reset it. These instructions did not apply to my model so attempted several emails later to no avail, replies as the first contact.....Very disappointed
NO customer service
