Well I did a fair bit of research into Click4 group and other recommended insurers and after going through a lot of research I found myself returning to Click4 warranty for their great reviews and easy set up and competitive cover at a lower cost.

Made an enquiry on the website Thursday…
Made an enquiry on the website Thursday as soon as I did someone called and I was sold a warranty policy over the phone even though I wasn’t really intending on buying but it was a good sale spiel. After paying a £44 deposit and then setting up a rolling debit card payment I started to look at reviews where I became very concerned. I was told on the phone that no proof was requested for service etc should a claim arise but the reviews stated that if you couldn’t provide full service info with vat number and garage details that the claim would be rejected. This concerned me so I took pictures of the used car (I had just bought) service book and e mailed them to the company to clarify that it was acceptable. I had no response. The next day I decided to call them to find out why. Several numbers on their website do not work. They say the call cannot be connected. One number I did get through to told me they were busy and they would call me back. The only number that works is the sales line who said they cannot invoke the 21 days full refund cancellation but it has to be via e mail or the contact form on their website. I did both and still 24 hours later no response . I called back again , and the line said someone would call me back, surprisingly someone did and said they would cancel and refund the policy. The policy is still showing live on their website, I called again and it told me the number was busy and I’d receive a call back which I did and got the same guy who told me he couldn’t cancel over the phone, I said someone else told me it was cancelled over the phone and refunded but it’s still showing as a live policy. He got quite annoyed and aggressive and said even though they said it was cancelled it still has to be done manually . I find it very odd as any other insurance company would cancel immediately and send confirmation and yet 48 hours later nothing at all and policy still live on website. Also I tried to log in via auto protect app to see what would happen as it says you can make claims cancel etc there but it doesn’t recognise me at all. Please choose carefully re this company they look like a great set up based on the sales team but when it comes to claiming try and find a successful claim that goes through. I haven’t this is why I’ve went to this effort to get my money back 2 days after taking the policy and despite a 21 day cancellation for free I think I’ll have a fight on my hands next stop my credit card company as I bet they also will take the monthly debit on 1/5 if I don’t report my card as fraud on it! Beware . Be good to hear of any positive reviews after claiming! If I get a cancellation e mail and confirmation of refund from the company I’ll remove this review.
