Our little Cavapoo Theo loved going to Kate’s training sessions . He has made great progress with Kate’s training regimen with rewards . I highly recommend this training for young pups. I feel I got trained too!

Kate is AMAZING! Her knowledge level is very high and she was able to read our 10 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback Atlas like a map! As a professional pet sitter myself, I have extreme expectations for anyone who is involved in the care of my own puppy and Kate is one of the best!

Kate came to our house to give our reactive border collie Pip a 121 session and we had a great experience!

Kate really listened to us, was great with our dogs and offered suggestions and insight that we hadn't considered before.

Pip is now much more controllable around other dogs with Kate's help and we have some more avenues to explore to make her more comfortable still.

We would recommend Kate's services.

Puppy classes were amazing! Very fun and interactive. Kate is brilliant and clearly is up to date with her knowledge on the variety of breeds and behaviours. As Kate has been amazing in the puppy classes and how they are conducted, I have decided to start teenage tearaways! Would recommend 100%!!

Just finished our teenage tearaway 6 week course with an 11 month pretty excitable Labradoodle! Loved the classes, did the homework provided and with the skills, socialisation and advice given in the lessons I have a calmer dog who now has focus on me! She is wonderfully helpful, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable in her field. Would 100% recommend whether you are first owner or like me had dogs before but wanted some extra specific guidance. Kate is a fantastic dog trainer, patient, encouraging and knowledgable.
We have loved puppy classes where our children have been involved too.
We have all learnt so much, including what equipment to buy.
We have signed up to teenage Tearaways class too in May.
Bonnie has loved classes and we are enjoying trying the training at home too.

We’ve had a fantastic experience with the puppy training classes! Our pup, Trevor, has made amazing progress—even if he didn’t always listen in class! Thanks to Kate’s knowledgeable and supportive approach, we’ve seen real improvements, especially with the homework. She truly understands puppy behavior and provided great personalised advice for Trevor’s challenges. We’re excited to continue with the Teenage Tearaway classes in March! Highly recommend!

Kate is a fantastic dog trainer, we really enjoyed our recent puppy training classes and it has hugely benefited my border collie pups. She has so much knowledge and I’m proud of my dogs and how they are progressing using the tips and techniques Kate has taught us. I have framed their graduation certificates for the wall! We booked three 1-2-1 sessions with Kate for our 3 year old Cockapoo who required some training due to the arrival of a baby and changes in our household dynamic. Kate is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about canine behaviour and we wouldn’t hesitate to ask for her help again if needed. Kate assessed our dog in our home and out on a walk and gave us simple, but effective tips to improve our dog’s behaviour. Thank you Kate!!

If you follow Kate's advice you are sure to make good progress - she is very easy to talk to about problems you are encountering and offers practical suggestions to trial, all of which have worked well for us. You just have to remember it won't just happen - you need to work on her advice with your dog and not just in the short term!

Our Golden Retriever Obi is now 1 year old, happy, well socialised and all round well behaved!

We started with Kate’s ‘puppy package’, which includes a few 1-1s and puppy classes. We then did her ‘Teenage tearaways’ class, and now looking to progress. We originally contacted Kate because the first week of having Obi home he was eating rocks, or anything he could put in his mouth. Kate reassured us, didn’t make us feel stupid and improved our confidence. Obi has also perfected the ‘leave it’ command.

Couldn’t recommend her more (in fact I recommend her to everyone we meet!)

I recently completed puppy training classes with Kate and would thoroughly recommend them if you have a new puppy. The class is a small group, which is perfect for a little bit of socialisation as well as learning those important life skills. Kate is a very engaging and insightful trainer. I’ve had dogs all my life and still felt that both puppy and I learned a lot from attending.

We have just finished a fab 6 week puppy course with Kate! Kate is very knowledgable and we have thoroughly enjoyed each session and continuing what we have learnt each week training at home. We can't wait to continue our puppy training journey with Kate in the new year. My husband and kids had been nagging me to get a dog for years. I am in fact quite scared of dogs I don’t know, however decided it was time to get one. I was recommended Kate by my friend so I contacted her to help train our new puppy. Kate is not only very professional and knowledgeable but also very friendly and approachable. I have done most of her training courses and I realise that she wasn’t just training my dog, she was in fact training me to be the best dog owner I could be. She helped give me confidence around other dogs and she is always my first point of contact for any dog needs. I love all her classes they are fun for my dog and for me. I now have a dog that is the most perfect part of our family and I couldn’t have done it without her. I highly recommend Kate so much, and I can’t thank her enough for making Riley, my border collie the best family pet ever! Thank you. 😊

Kate is the second trainer my dog and I have had. We've made lots of progress in a short time and have both enjoyed the classes. I feel so much happier and more confident as a dog owner and that helps my dog be happier too!

My dog and I met Kate whilst out and about! We went along to the Teenage Tearaway courses. She really is the expert you need to help you with your dog. Excellent knowledge, explains brilliantly; approachable and friendly. Great value for money as her advice and training will give you the right understanding and confidence you need for a life time with your canine companion.

Kate is the most knowledgeable, caring and supportive trainer. She makes training fun for both dogs and the humans! Her experience is outstanding and she’s always on hand to help and answer questions.
Kate has a long list of qualifications and experience. Only using fun, reward based methods, I wouldn’t choose to work with anyone else.

Kate has been wonderful with our newly rehomed boy - he’s a little reactive sometimes and Kate made us feel welcome with constant positivity and reassurance - which was a blessing. She skilled us up with some great tools to use to keep him engaged and we worked hard being around other dogs (not something this pooch finds easy!). Kate has answered various messages from me throughout the whole process; finding the dog, visiting, deciding to bring him home, initial concerns - and that has been an absolute blessing. Thank you for teaching people how to be positive with their pooches - have loved learning from you and Casey.

When I contacted Kate I was at breaking point. We'd welcomed a border collie puppy into our family, but (in hindsight) had been completely unprepared for what we would need to do. We'd been to puppy training classes elsewhere, but his behaviour seemed to be getting worse, not better. Barking at other dogs, chasing cars, poor recall, pulling on the lead - it just wasn't fun any more. Enter Kate! Getting in touch with Kate is the best thing I have done for us all. One training session later and I felt full of hope that it might actually be OK. Then a few more down the line we started to see some huge improvements, not only in the puppy but also in ourselves as owners. We were finally starting to learn how to be better owners and had the confidence to learn and try new things! There is still a way to go for us all, but I know with Kate we will get there. You could not ask for a more enthusiastic, supportive and knowledgeable person to learn from. She's awesome and I highly recommend her.
