ClickUp is the best productivity tool!

It is one of the best to keep up with tasks. It is very easy to use, not confusing at all. If I were to suggest a productivity platform to clients, it would definitely be ClickUp.

Our transition from Basecamp to ClickUp, led by our IT Director, was initially met with hesitation. However, ClickUp's superior structure and flexibility quickly proved indispensable. Since adopting it we’ve had clearer processes, fewer emails, and deadlines always under control. The list/table/calendar views and task templates with recurring checklists let us standardise work, while automations reduce manual steps. Guest sharing and @mention comments speed up alignment both with clients and internally with collaborators. Everything lives in one place. The google calendar and drive integrations keep everything in sync, even when I'm away from the office.
I'd love to see even more flexible time reporting by client/project; it’s a minor detail compared to the overall value. In short, clickup has become our operational hub: more control and more peace of mind in teamwork. Highly recommended for professional firms and smes that want to work by process.

As a Website Support Specialist, my workflow used to be pure chaos. My favorite "speed run" workflow is our client intake. We use a ClickUp Form which triggers Automations to instantly create a Task with the right Template and Assignment. What used to take 5-10 minutes of manual data entry per ticket now takes zero seconds.

The AI (Brain MAX) is also incredibly powerful. I use it to summarize complex technical bugs, draft client-facing reports in seconds (which used to take an hour), and even plan my entire workday.

This software is way too difficult to get started. Even with Chat GT, I couldn't figure it out.
Make something simple that everyone can understand.

Terrible Customer Service

I've been a ClickUp customer for many years. I have several paid accounts and refer all my clients to ClickUp. Years ago, as a paying customer, customer service was speedy, responsive, and knowledgeable. Today, I get people who have no idea what they are talking about. I updated my email address mid-September. When I contacted customer service for help with a simple email change, I've been getting the run around for SIX WEEKS and it's still not resolved. They keep telling me the same thing over and over (that I've already done). And each time I contact them, someone new takes over and I have to start all over again. SO FRUSTRATING!

I’ve been a long-time ClickUp user and genuinely loved the platform — until recently. I purchased the AI Standard add-on ($14) because it offered the ability to automatically generate task summaries, reports, and insights. These features were a big part of my workflow.

Without any direct communication or clear notice, ClickUp quietly moved to a “credit-based” system that now restricts those same features behind AI credits. My workspace suddenly stopped working as it always had, and I was told I’d need to pay extra for AI credits just to restore functionality I was already paying for.

This feels like a bait and switch. I wasn’t warned, and there’s no clear breakdown of how credits are calculated or consumed. I requested (and thankfully received) a refund, but the experience left a bad taste.

ClickUp is becoming unnecessarily complicated and expensive — it used to empower productivity, now it feels like it’s nickel-and-diming loyal users. I’m disappointed in the lack of transparency, and I hope the company rethinks how it handles these pricing and communication changes.

What an excellent application!!! It's so nicely made and easy to use. Once you get settled in is when you can start discovering all their crazy features with app integrations and automations.

This app is so incredibly made, it somehow makes me excited to plan for my following day. Then, i'm excited during the day for me to tick off those tasks. I use it for business and personal life and it's hands down life-changing. It's even more exciting that there is so many more features for me to learn and explore.

I recently discovered that I can make different tasks lists different which helps me understand the next task coming up visually without reading and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Imagine this, I was using the app and enjoyed it so much I told myself I need to write a review right now for this company and their amazing team.

I will definitely be using it for future team projects as well.
