Same surgery, same evidence sent to two banks to keep £1,000
This is an update to my previous review, as the situation became even more serious.
I paid a total of £1,000 to Monoclinic for one single surgery that was later cancelled and never took place. No treatment, consultation, or service was ever provided.
When I first cancelled the surgery and requested a refund, I was repeatedly reassured via WhatsApp that it was “not a problem” and that their team would contact me shortly. I was told things like “yes, of course” and “our team will contact you”, but no one ever did. Each day I was pushed to the next day with the same vague promises, without any real action or resolution.
Because of this ongoing delay and lack of response, I was eventually forced to raise disputes with my banks.
What is extremely concerning is that Monoclinic submitted the exact same WhatsApp messages and the same documents as “evidence” to both banks, even though the payments were made through two different card providers.
They used the same evidence to claim that both payments of £500 were a “non-refundable deposit” for the same cancelled surgery, effectively trying to keep the full £1,000 without providing any service at all.
I never signed any contract confirming that the payments were non-refundable, and this was never clearly explained to me before I paid. This “non-refundable deposit” explanation only appeared after I asked for my money back.
Their final response was to stop communicating with me and redirect me back to my banks.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to be extremely careful and never pay large amounts upfront. If you cancel, you may lose all your money even if no treatment ever happens.

From Start to Finish: A Wonderful Experience at Mono Clinic”
I traveled alone for my treatments, but I never felt alone. Every step of the way, I felt completely supported. A big thank you to Tutku, Esra, GG, and Busra for booking my lovely en suite room, I absolutely loved it! I’m also grateful to the kind lady who escorted me to the pharmacy, the nurse who visited daily with much-needed pain relief (even though I may have been a bit of a handful 😂), the hotel receptionists, and the kitchen staff who made sure I always had room service. Special thanks to the cleaning crew, who made sure I was never without towels. There are so many people who made this experience unforgettable, and although I can't name everyone, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to each of you. Thank you all for making my stay and treatment truly memorable!

Excellent service at Mono Clinic
I recently had several procedures done at Mono Clinic and I couldn’t be happier with the results or the care I received. From start to finish, I felt safe, supported, and very well looked after.
My patient coordinator, Berfin, was amazing — so kind, organised, and always there to answer my questions. The surgeon was excellent, truly listened to what I wanted, and delivered exactly the results I hoped for. Before surgery, they carried out very thorough tests to make sure I was fit and ready, which gave me great peace of mind. Any concerns I raised were dealt with immediately and professionally.
The aftercare provided by Almira was incredible. She supported me through a very difficult time — caring, attentive, and always reassuring.
A big shout-out to Gigi from Guest Relations, who made my stay wonderful and offered so much support and help throughout. The hotel was fantastic — clean, comfortable, and the staff were extremely attentive.
Overall, all of the staff were amazing. My experience was outstanding, and I would highly recommend Mono Clinic to anyone considering treatment.

I was a companion in October and we had the most amazing experience.From arrival to hospital to hotel and departure.Everyone was there made sure everything went well for us.Results are amazing and the Surgeon did his thing.Hotel staff,Mono staff,hosital staff were all amazing and I was ready to go back for my own surgery soon.Issue started when Turkish visa centre gave some issues.Not only is the visa £220 but the process itself is quite long and stressful.I have already paid my deposit with Mono.First for plastic surgery and then later i decided to have a gastric sleeve first.I was told the initial deposit will be kept for the plastic surgery when im ready for it and I needed to pay another deposit for the sleeve surgery.Now after the visa centre couldnt do the visa it means I obviously cannot travel to Turkey.All of a sudden no one can respond about getting all or some of the deposit back.I have messaged the Mono representatives with no luck and realised as long as you want your money back they dont bother responding.Its quite disappointing to be treated this way especially after having a good experience in the first place.

This is my 4th time at Mono for surgery, can’t recommend enough! Said has been absolutely wonderful from to start to finish. I will be back next for further surgery and wouldn’t even contemplate going elsewhere. The surgeons are outstanding and I would trust any other surgery but Mono.

I had a very positive experience during my stay at Mono Clinic in Turkey, and I’m truly grateful for the care and support I received throughout my treatment.
A very special thank you goes to Esra, my coordinator. From the beginning to the end, she was incredibly helpful, professional, and caring. There was a moment when I felt upset and overwhelmed, but Esra handled everything with such kindness and professionalism. She listened to me, reassured me, and truly put a smile back on my face when I needed it most. Her support made a huge difference in my overall experience.
I would also like to say thank you to Bestie for arranging my flight and hotel stay so smoothly. Everything was well organized, which allowed me to focus on my treatment without any stress.
Lastly, I want to thank Mohamed for his kindness and support whenever my coordinator was busy. His help and friendly attitude did not go unnoticed.
