Clothkits are offering such a wide and exciting range of kits, sewing patterns and fabrics, I am now spoilt for choice.
I made my first Clothkits work of art, a jacket, in the early 80's. I was delighted to find Clothkits again last year and am so looking forward to making up my new purchases for my grandchildren.

Clothkits are such a great company to buy from. They have amazing products and always get your package to you swiftly. The packaging is friendly and the little notes written to thank you for your custom are a lovely touch. Highly recommend.

Prompt delivery, well packaged and the usual high standard of material and pattern. I bought this to make for my Granddaughter as I made the same jacket for my daughter 37 years ago!! Very happy.

I have ordered from this company several times, the products are exactly as described the delivery is quick, you are informed if any delays, also excellent customer service, Hence the 5 stars

Prompt delivery and really good quality fabric and instructions.

Finished bag looks great but I had to keep referring to the photos on the cloth kit website to clarify instructions.These could be greatly - and easily - improved.:
1. “…and …. Layer of wadding” (It didn't say how many)
2. “..Velcro… 2.5cm from TOP edge” (Photo on website indicated BOTTOM edge)
4. 2nd strap position not marked on diagram. This is essential for positioning pocket D.
8. Completing bag: There is not enough fabric to stitch Velcro across bottom edge. This is the first time it is mentioned. (Is it an added feature from the original??)
Suggestions: Improvements in instructions + step by step photos on website for unclear sections.
I was going to buy a kit for a child’s jacket but having gone through the process with the bag, I’ll be looking for a normal pattern!

1) Lovely selection of fabrics, patterns and kits. But not too many to wade through. You feel each item deserves its place in the collection. And they stock Odile Bailloeul!
2) Excellent customer service. After you have put in your order before you know it a message to say winging it’s way in the post. No hanging around for ages wondering if it will ever appear.Also if you ask, the lovely ladies will pop in a matching thread so you can immediately get to start on your project. Very helpful for people like me who don’t live near a shop selling haberdashery.
3) Not a piece of plastic in sight! All paper packaging and the coloured paper bags are very useful in themselves to use for gifts etc.
4) l find the kits make very good Christmas/ birthday presents. None are too expensive and a nice way to encourage others to work creatively and make something to be proud of.
5) Frequent emails. I do enjoy seeing what is new and the suggestions re fabrics and patterns.
6) Yes, l love Cloth Kits! Definitely my favourite online shop.
