The workshop was absolutely brilliant
The workshop was absolutely brilliant. I had a little bit of experience with a sewing machine but never really knew what I was doing and my borrowed machine was very temperamental. I made a bag at the workshop which is amazing!! This workshop has given me loads of confidence to start using my new machine. I can’t wait to get sewing. Thanks to Maria for her calm and clear teaching.

Another fabulous workshop
I have done many workshops with Clothkits and they have all been excellent. It is a great sewing space and the shop is full of amazing fabrics and other notions.
I have been on a number of Jane Warren Lampshade courses and she is a great tutor full of hints and tips, her workshops are always fun as well as leaving with a lampshade.

A compact shop but lots of…
A compact shop but lots of well-curated, super quality fabrics to choose from, not all ditsy florals hoorah, plenty of natural fibre choices hoorah. Shop was well organised, no rummaging, and displays beautifully laid out. Enough stock to keep me occupied for 40 minutes just seeing what was there, but not so much stock that I was overwhelmed - so I was able to stick to my plan of only buying fabric for the pattern I had in my hand!

Exceptional quality
I bought this in stunning cobalt blue for a summer dress. it's very high quality linen, relatively lightweight and is sewing up beautifully.i hadn't noticed it's a bit narrow at 135 and I would have got an extra 20cm if I'd noticed.
