I tried many times with many different cards to sign up for a free tier but it kept rejecting all my payment methods. I contacted the assistance and, after 1 week of delay, they told me that there is nothing they can do and cut the conversation there. I cannot think about a worse support than this.

I signed up for the always free cloud service, and was charged twice although they have stated that there's no payment. After the payment went through and the amount was deducted, I got an error stating that I have been "masking" my location while I did nothing wrong. I have emailed their support and it has been 72 hours and no answers!

I attempted to register, but the system repeatedly rejected my registration - even though my phone number was verified and my card was successfully charged.

The suggested workaround was to contact support (since the registration form has huge number of bugs). After waiting 5 days and sending a reminder, I finally received this response:

“Unfortunately, we are unable to resolve this or process the transaction. This is all the information we can provide.”

This is extremely frustrating. My payment was taken, the system doesn’t work, and support is unable to offer any solution or meaningful explanation. Completely unacceptable experience.

the servers are just too laggy, and their "free tier" that they offer you is always with full capacity but there is a workaround where you "pay as you go" and then oracle free tier works but that just a goal so once they get ddossed because their ips are literally worse than digitalocean they will just charge you hidden fees for "extra bandwidth" or stuff like that, its a scam if something sounds too good to be true it most likely is

I attempted to sign up for the cloud service, but after my card was approved, I got error after submitting . I tried 3 different cards with the same result. I contacted live chat, but they redirected me to email support. Despite their promise to respond within 48 hours, I have received no reply. Overall, a very disappointing onboarding experience.

They are scammers. They just take active credit card information that has no OTP checking and then suddenly started charging you using 3rd party gateways. What a scam! How they even exist!

Be aware of these scammers!
Nothing exists for “Free forever”, it’s a trap to steal your credit card data and information.

Stay alert and don’t enter your card details there.

Same problem already reported by others, Account TERMINATED without notifications or explanations, Care wont help and you hours of work will be lost with all your data and scripts.

BEWARE there is NO ALWAYS FREE account with them.

And once you had one free account you CAN NOT open a second, so your backups WONT work

This is why the company is strugling, you dont make business like this, buldinz ZERO TRUST in their solutions

My evaluation for their services has ended with the LOWEST socer ever.

Beware – Misleading "Always Free" service and zero real support

I signed up for Oracle Cloud because they advertise an “Always Free” tier. My experience has been full of disappointment and dishonesty.

I created only one free instance, but the system still shows misleading resource limits and confusing compartment details.

The VM that was supposed to be 1 GB RAM actually reports only ~500 MB usable memory, while system tools confirm this discrepancy.

Support is practically non-existent. Instead of getting a proper explanation, all I received were generic and unhelpful responses. It feels like the service is being run by a local reseller company with no transparency.

When I wanted clarity about whether resources were actually allocated as promised, there was no clear answer. Instead, I was left completely on my own.

This is not what I expect from a global company. If you value your time, honesty, and real technical support, I strongly suggest avoiding Oracle Cloud’s “Always Free” offer. It’s misleading at best and feels like a scam at worst.

AVOID THIS USELESS SERVICE. They will take money from you credit for verification and never refund it. at the end you will not get the stupid account.

Deleted my free tier account for no reason STAY AWAY I REPEAT STAY AWAY they will randomly terminate your account for no reason at all don’t even bother going to there website

Free tier scam, get your cc info but show error messages at checkout. Avoid this crap! Youtubers promoting this should be reported as well.

AVOID AT ALL COST!. Oracle cloud is the shitiest cloud provider that ever seen on the face of the earth.

If you use oracle free trial they will simply and purely destroy your account and the data/VMs associated with it at the end of the trial and you cant use free tier ! worst service ever

I have had my account since 2020 and have servers running it with no problem. A week ago, I wanted to upgrade from the free tier to pay-as-you-go because I was planning to increase the traffic and was getting the account ready.

They rejected my credit card, so I contacted the support to help me solve it. Just 5 minutes ago, I got this from them.

which is WTF! My account was working fine for years before I contacted you!

So I guess the moral of the story here is to get ready for Oracle to delete your server with no warning, even when you're trying to give them money!

Not been able to create account since it has been stuck in "pending review" for over a month. I tried to create an account for support (a bit dumb how it's a separate system) but the system says my email address is invalid so I can't create an account to contact support (nothing is unusual about my email address). UX is poor overall but not surprised with Oracle

Totally AVOID oracle cloud!

I've spent 2 months learning how to use their products, creating some Always Free things there like an object storage bucket or a small computer instance and then I was just locked out of my account.

When asking their support I got the same answer like the account was terminated and no reason provided. I cannot get my data but also I cannot use the account for paid products for example. What kind of stupidity is this? Why just didn't deleted my products (if they don't like it), but allow me to use the account for paid ones?

Very disappointed!

Randomly deleted my account and all they could say was

"Please be informed that your account has been terminated by the system. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide specific details or restore/reactivate your account."

i'm now completely unable to use their service
