I previously used Clydebank taxis on June 25 it was a terrible experience we were going to Glasgow royal hospital I asked for a quote which they gave the asked me which I wanted at the time my husband was in a manual wheelchair driver just dropped us at a&e ended up we had to get to a different part of the hospital it was very difficult for me to push him up a hill he asked for almost double the price I refused to pay him that amount coming home it was fine driver was great and charged us the right amount this time I called Oliver’s they don’t take power wheelchairs I had to call Clydebank taxis this Monday we had an excellent service by both drivers I think it was Stephen and Jim great service very helpful also the girl in the office very helpful I think they have got rid of the 2horrors from previously will use them again and recommend them

Taxi was called and advised of a 20 min wait. After 10mins waited outside pickup point. Taxi never arrived. Recieved a call which hung up apon answer. Called back only to be told was put as a no show and driver had taken another job and would have to wait another hour. Will be reporting this to the council licensing dept.

Clydebank failed to arrive for pre-booked journey on the last three occasions I’ve booked them. First two were dentist appointments for my Dad. No sign of them. I called them to be told that there were no cars available. Latest one was when I’d booked a taxi - the night before- to take my daughter to a job interview. They called 45 mins before the pick-up time to say they didn’t have any cars. Leaving her without a means to get to a job interview. If you don’t have the cars, then don’t take the bookings - thanks.

Absolute nightmare to get a taxi from here these days.. always waiting ages and when your phone they can't tell you how much longer you'll be waiting.

Worst experience. Booked a taxi at 7.30pm to pick up 12.15, no show. When I called was informed only two drivers and none willing to pick up from Partick, no communication to say pick up wouldn’t happen. Then had to wait until 1 am for alternative taxi firm lucky I wasn’t on my own. Will never use this company again. Shocking

Absolutely shocking customer service from Clydebank Taxis. I booked a return ride home in the morning for the following evening and after received a confirmation email with a booking reference, I assumed all was fine. I waited 30 minutes for the taxi to arrive but none shown. After phoning Clydebank taxis, I was told that no taxis were coming and the booking had been cancelled however they did not contact me to inform me as they wetey "too busy". This was at 1am on a Sunday morning.

It's fair to say I will never give this company my custom again after leaving me stranded miles away from home and not even having the courtesy to let me know how the booking was never going to be completed.

Wow, Clydebank Taxis, what a stellar performance! I booked them for a leisurely game of "Will they show up or not?" and guess what? They didn't disappoint! Nearly missed my flight, but hey, who needs punctuality when you have the thrill of uncertainty? If you enjoy living on the edge and risking your travel plans, Clydebank Taxis is the perfect choice for you!

If I could leave no stars I would. Completely let down by them and given a mouthful of cheek by the operator to boot. Phoned and booked taxi for certain time, phoned 10 min before due to clarify they had right address as it's an awkward area, they did have have right address. 10 min passed no taxi, 15 min passed due time phoned to enquire where my taxi was only to be told they were busy and couldn't give me a time. I said I'm trying to get home to get my kids to school to which I was told "that's not my problem" .
Marvellous! Really wonderful service. I ended up phoning Glasgow Taxis (a proper company who can actually do the job they are meant to do) who phoned after 10 min to apologise for not being there yet, taxi came after about 20 min. Clydebank taxi - over an hour and still nowhere to be seen and no communication from them. Utterly crap -save yourself the hassle and DO NOT USE!

Do not use this company. I booked a taxi yesterday morning around 10.30 (18th December) for 2.00pm pick up. By 2.30 no taxi had arrived and I had to quickly make other arrangements. I arrived at the concert I was attending by the skin of my teeth and very stressed. And then I get an email telling me I was being charged a £5.00 no show fee! When I phoned the company I was told that pick up times are not guaranteed. What, I wonder, is the point of booking then? This is not the first time this has happened. I make a point of trying to use local businesses when I can but will never use this company again.

One star only because it wouldn't allow be to leave zero.
They have the option to book in advance on the app and on the website but no where does it say this does not guarantee you a taxi. I booked in advance due to it being 1st of December and they have cancelled the taxi and basically just stranded a single female in Glasgow on her own.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Today, 9th November 2023 my daughter and I travelled from Aberdeen, by train, to Golden Jubilee National hospital. We were there for 3.5 hours. We came out and I phoned a taxi, which was Clydebank private hire. The lady took the booking and I hung up. We waited 15 minutes and phoned back and was told the taxi would be there as soon as he could. A few minutes later a different taxi arrived. CLYDEBANK TAXIs. The man noticed we were waiting when he picked up another fare and came back to see if we needed him. Of course we went with him but when we got to Dalmuir station he didn't have a card terminal and I had no cash. I was so embarrassed. He said " it's fine don't worry about it". Since we have to return to the hospital I asked him for his number so I can repay him.IAN is a credit to the company and should be really proud of himself for being so kind. Thank you IAN.

1st class service drivers very helpful with. Disabled people help with getting in and out taxi no problem

Really, really poor.

Someone recommended that I use them instead of Uber to get my parents from Clydebank to Glasgow Airport.

Their app gave me a price, which I accepted. Got notification from the bank that they had taken the money.

Then waited. I phoned them up to ask why it was taking so long and they told me that I hadn't put in a pickup address. So how did they know how much to charge me?

Once that was sorted, it took another 15 minutes for a car to arrive. When I phoned "he's just dropping off somewhere else" with no idea of the time that would take.

And then the driver was rude and surly.

Do not waste your time on these jokers!

Shocking service, didn't even turn up, hope they go bust, useless Pathetic company

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Drivers are self employed and take no responsibility for mistakes they even admitted. Useless trying to contact the company themselves just send a copy and pasted reply.

Booked a taxi first time on their App for going to the airport. When the taxi did not turn up I phoned them and they said there were no taxis available and we should not have used the app. One of the poorest apps I have ever used. DO NOT USE THIS APP and I will never use this company again.

This has happened on numerous occasions where we order a black cab from clydebank and they hold you hostage for your cab. We booked a BLACK COUNCIL CAB after booking the automated service said 5 minutes an hour later we called back and operators were rude and hung up. After calling again they hung up we are paying customers treated like dirt,we use this company everyday near enough and still we get treated like we are not customers. Will not use this company again. And to top it all we used a private hire taxi and guess what 4 clydebank taxi's sitting outside ASDA CLYDEBANK. Who ever we spoke from clydebank taxis should Power trip somewhere else and your job should be easy enough without the HATE
