Jamie and Kyfer arrived and the minute they came in they were excellent. So professional and friendly.
An excellent job done they were super efficient and cleaned everything after and we just can’t fault the work they did. It really exceeded our expectations.

We had our installation last Wednesday, delighted with the work carried out, despite being nervous when we saw the reviews, the rep explained what had happened through the conservatory branch last year, and how the windows and doors side of the company was what they were best at. Would highly recommend Jamie and the team to carry out the work, would use again.

Be VERY, VERY careful if you choose to go with this Company. A leopard never changes its spots, but this company can change it's name when it suits, and in it's previous name (same Director) robbed us of £7,100.00 deposit by failing to fulfil our signed Contract and reneging on a promise (on several occasions) to refund the deposit, and declaring insolvency before our Case against them came to Court.
Ah, but we're a "new company" they now tell me, "trying to make a go of it" - but look at their current website (About us) - "...established in 2017..", not so new eh!, and in 2020 they state "we were fortunate to be in a position to withstand the pressure that arose in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic hit". Really? - that's not what the Liquidator said - "the Company experienced a significant downturn...", " the Company incurred significant arrears with HMRC, and other suppliers..." Book Debts of >£1.1M and total deficiency >£2,8M. So their website doesn't tell the real story!!!
Then latterly (10th April 2025) they phone me from the original Clydebuilt phone number I saved in my phone Contacts, to try and get my wife to take down 'immediately' a 1-Star Review. They then phone my wife in turn promising (followed up with email) full repayment paid over a number of weeks. We took further legal advice and that was to await full repayment 'immediately' before taking down the review. They even inferred that maybe we didn't need the money - the sheer audacity. We've not heard from them since.

After a visit from Clydebuilt windows and doors young salesperson Josh, I paid my deposit for work to be carried out at my house. However, after investigation into the company I cancelled my contract the following day. It took 35 days to get my deposit back after numerous phone calls and emails.
From start to finish , starting with Josh the salesperson, I was told all sorts of things that were untrue, like the company had been trading for years? but under various names over years, the contract actually had the previous company details on it and the whole experience was an insight into why you would never get involved with this company.
Always an excuse that just goes on and on. Do yourself a favour and go to someone else.

Craig and team had fantastic customer service. explained everything that my dad needed to know about his new windows and doors. The team cleaned and cleared all rubbish and gave rooms a thorough hoover left the house spotless.

Fantastic work from the guys. Quick, efficient, friendly amd helpful and explained very clearly. Would highly recommend.

Stay clear, placed an order for a new conservatory roof. Got fobbed off so many times with dates to commence work. Eventually we got our deposit refunded but with a lot of hassle. Taking peoples money and promising dates for work to commence which they cannot fulfil

I had the pleasure of speaking with Max and found him to be incredibly informative, honest, and genuinely funny. He shared his insights in a clear and engaging way, and his sense of humour made the conversation both enjoyable and memorable. It’s rare to come across someone who balances professionalism with such a personable approach, highly recommend connecting with him.

The two gentlemen Jamie & Kyfer showed up early, just after 8am, both gentlemen spoke with my wife & myself, describing the work they were about to start, my wife & I mentioned we had indoor cats, both gentlemen were very respectful.

Jamie & Kyfer were both quick & professional, focused on the job - replacing 3 windows & a front door, but also taking time to talk to my wife & myself.

Matt & Mark arrived spot on time and started straightaway to install our new doors, very tidy and clean workers. Delighted with our new doors and we give Matt & Mark 10/10 thank you boys

Justin and Shaun were great when they came to install window and a door in the conservatory! Very tidy and polite, great workmanship. Amazing job all round, very happy with the results, transformed the room totally!

Massive shout out to Craig, Alan and Jordan for the amazing job they did installing six new windows for us. It’s the first time we’ve ever had to change our windows and had no idea of the complexity of the work involved. At first everything looked a little scary and messy when they removed the old windows, but the guys grafted nonstop all day and worked extremely well together to achieve a beautiful finish inside my house as well as outside. Our bathroom looks like it’s had a makeover with its smart new surrounds and windowsill. We chose the design everglade for the bathroom glass, and I can honestly say wow!! However, for all our rooms, the fitting, finishing's and seals were all carried out with a high standard of care and workmanship, they also cleaned up every bit of mess before they left.

Fitters we're courteous polite very clean tidy workers. Did a fantastic job. I'm thoroughly pleased. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Clydebuild are a well run company with great staff. Don't go mistaking this company (CLYDEBUILD) with Clyde Windows & Doors!

This company that apparently Scott Smith owns should be ashamed of the mess of windows that was put in my daughter and son in law’s house.
I live in the house and it was left open to the elements around the windows and behind a radiator. I have poor health and it affected my breathing and the heat escaping from the house - all winter - meant that it was cold and very expensive to try to keep warm. The plasterer came to fill in the holes around 13 February! The whole job is shoddy and they have sent members of their own staff to take photos of the awful workmanship and anybody who knows anything about windows has ‘laughed’ and commented on the state of them. Mr Smith has been in court several times; particularly for not paying suppliers too. Despite several calls to the office NOTHING has been said about how they plan on compensating us!
DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS COMPANY.

I had a visit from Clydebuilt Windows after submitting my details through a Scottish Windows site. I was told I’d been ‘matched’ with them, then got a No Caller ID call the next day saying someone in the area that day.

I made it clear I wasn’t looking to make any decisions on the day and was under the impression that the visit was to provide a no-obligation quote. Despite this, the salesman continued to push and push for me to agree to a sale there and then. When I didn’t bite, he called his ‘boss’ on loudspeaker in what felt like a staged conversation, loudly saying I’d regret not going ahead and continued to pressure me with various payment options etc. (based on other reviews, this seems to be a common tactic). I was the told things like “funding is running out in the area” and “this discount is only available today.” There is also no government funding, it’s a sales tactic. It made me uncomfortable and no one should make you feel uncomfortable in your own home.

I stood my ground, but I can see how others might feel pressured or even bullied into signing on the spot. There was no option to receive the quote by email, and I never got a booking confirmation or any information prior to the visit, which is odd. The salesman was pleasant enough, but the hard-sell tactics really put me off. An honest, good company wouldn’t need to rely on such tactics.

Delighted with price, professionalism and speed in which the windows were delivered and fitted thanks Luke and Brad for getting the job completed with no fuss and a good bit of banter - thanks also to Andy and Kenny
