The person who came round to do a quote for my window was really friendly and polite, very professional and straight forward, the windows now after they have been installed look super nice, and was fitted quickly, super clean. Would highly recommend this company if you are considering getting your windows changed.

Great experience. My quote was booked in the day after I was contacted which I was happy with as my patio doors were falling apart.

The fitters arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and the work has now been fitted to an excellent standard. I would use again when needing anymore work done.

This company is not customer friendly after cancelling our windows my partner got aggressive phone call about cancellation as the window where just to expensive for us to afford. Wouldn’t recommend felt very pressured

I’ve just had my second installation of products - as previously from point of sale through to customer services to installation and post install I cannot fault this company. Next project already in talks with to complete all windows and doors improvements - first rate company!

Had Eddie and his lads come round and install my 10 new windows, fantastic job done by them, was done in a day and a half, very impressed with there tidiness as well. From arranging a consultation to the installation has been smooth. We will be using Clydebuilt again for our doors in the near future, thanks guys !

I signed up to a contract on 16/12/25 with this company after giving it some thought myself and my wife decided not to go ahead with this and cancelled it 2days later to be told this was alright and deposit would be refunded in 21 days .I then had to get my bank to raise a dispute with the said company after 41 days i finally got paid so after a grim Christmas worrying if we were getting our money back its now been paid back in full .this comment is made for any pensioners to not get pushed into taking contract unless they are happy about it

"I agreed with the review below and had exactly the same experience. Still waiting for refund of £1340 deposit which was for work they never carried out. Steer clear of this company. Cowboys !

We are STILL owed £3000 which was paid as a deposit on a new solid conservatory roof, this was never started, we were given a multitude of excuses for the delay until we found out the company was liquidated.
They agreed to a repayment plan, this has never been honoured.

just had Luke and Brad round to fit new front and back doors. Really happy with the whole process. Both workmen where polite, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves removing old doors/frames and any debry.

Awful company to deal with, won’t return calls, promises to turn up to repair faults and never do !

We ordered our windows and front door from this company in October 2024. We were quoted 6 to 8 weeks for fitment. After quite a bit of badgering, they were actually fitted on 31st January 2025.
The fitting team were excellent, hard working and very pleasant. What lets them down is the aftercare. What good is a 10-year warranty if no one does anything.
The fitter noticed a crack on one of the welds and reported it, and we were promised an engineer would come out to check it. It didn’t happen until November, after many phone calls and complaints on their website. He came out, looked at the crack and said a replacement would be needed. It is now nearly the end of January 2026, and still nothing has been done, and no contact has been made from them.
In total, I have phoned them 43 times, filled out their complaints form 3 times (last time 10 minutes ago). The next step will be Citizens advice and Trading Standards.
Their complaints page states, “We will contact you within seven working days of receiving your complaint, to advise of next steps. We aim to have resolved your complaint within 8 weeks of receipt of your complaint. Where we are unable to achieve this, we will work with you to reach a resolution as quickly as possible.”

Recently a family member enquired about getting replacement windows and was encouraged by a facebook advert from this business suggesting scottish government grants could be on offer. The relative being a vulnerable person asked me to be at the property for what they understood to be measuring up. The suited salesman turned up and asked who i was and where was the female who had raised the interest in a very abrupt and aggressive manner. I explained that i was here for them to measure and quote and they said no they couldnt do that they had to deal with the relative of mine. I said i will tell my relative to contact them but he instead waited outside the property for a long period whilst calling them. Felt potential scam and wasnt happy it was a younger male that would be less able to manipulate. My relative said he was also aggressive calling her and she had to block. Please stay clear

Paid deposit of £399 a week later they informed me that they couldn’t get the door I wanted. Order cancelled and 6 weeks later, I’m still awaiting my refund.. they lie everytime I call. I’ve now gone to the ombudsman and the finance company that they use. Scammers one thinks.. disgusted

We got quote for new windows and french doors, the price was very good so (my own fault) signed up to get them fitted next year, this was on a saturday.

Monday morning a surveyor arrived with no prior knowledge or any contact however he done the survey but after reading reviews online we decided not to go ahead with the windows and doors.

I had paid £399 'admin fee' so requested this refunded and was told by Stuart this wasn't possible. I advised them the contract I signed stated that all monies paid within 7 days are refunded however they are simply unwilling to return my 'admin fee' and his tone changed from friendly and helpful to a little bit aggressive, this quickly changed back when i informed him this call was being recorded.

The matter will be taken further.

Replacing windows for the first time was pretty daunting but everyone at Clydebuilt made things very quick and easy. The whole process from consultation to install only took about three weeks. The windows themselves are extremely high-quality. We are really impressed and highly recommend!

I have new windows installed today. Jamie and his workmate were fantastic. Quick, professional and gave excellent advice on not changing wood to pvc inside the flat. Everyone from the sales team / man, surveyor and installation were fantastic :)👍
