Any problem post install and you're on your own

The initial install and work was done well and no issues with fit. But 4 years later and all of the external sealant/bonding material has cracked and gone mouldy. They are still under their warranty and I have tried to get any kind of response from them for over two months.
Would not recommend at all as the promise of warranty is utterly useless. Given up on them all together.

Avoid at all costs

I got this company in fit new back and front door and 1 window. Guys came and a few faults found after they left. Phoned them and they told me if I didn't pay the other half of money they wouldn't fix, told them when job done they would get the rest. They eventually fixed the jobs and were paid in full.

2 month on and front door wouldn't lock so eventually came back and fixed but when they left we realised any key would open the lock, phoned again on numerous occasions as huge safety issue so 8 weeks later they turn up to fix it, elderly guy absolutely full of attitude and really cheeky. So all in all I wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole.

Massive shout out to Craig and his team

Massive shout out to Craig, Alan and Jordan for the amazing job they did installing the new Windows and Doors for us. 3 days grafting non stop. It’s the first time we’ve ever had to change our windows and had no idea of the complexity of the work involved. At first everything looked a little scary and messy when they removed the old windows and doors, but the guys grafted nonstop and worked extremely well together to achieve a beautiful finish inside and outside our old stone house . Our bathroom looks like it’s had a makeover with its smart new surrounds and windowsill. I can honestly say wow!! For all our rooms, the fitting, finishing's and seals were all carried out with a high standard of care and workmanship. As usual with a large job like this, 10 windows and 2 doors you get some hickups especially in old pre 1900 buildings. Craig has great experiance and toolbox of skill. Craig ordered the Plasterer to touch up due to the old type house and windows removal. Everything is always under control with Craig and his team.
Thankyou very much for your friendly banter etc. Kettle always on.

Poor Customer Service

On the 22 May my father had a visit from a salesman who, i have to say, outstayed his welcome. After 3 hours with my elderly parents and making a phonecall to his 'boss' to see if he could get some money off for them, they were given a price for a new back door. The salesman advised he needed to take a 10% deposit that day, which my father paid. He filled out the paper work and left the order details with my dad. Feeling a bit uncomfortable about it all my dad checked his bank acct and to his dismay the salesman had added an extra £400 to his deposit! My dad called him straight away to enquire why so much had been taken off to be told that it was an admin fee and that he had been told about it - my dad may be 81 but he has all his faculties and knew that this had not been mentioned. My dad requested that his order be cancelled as the deciet had made him feel uncomfortable about the company. The salesman agreed to do this and advised it would take 21 days to get any money back in his acct - to this date there is still no money!!!
I have now taken this on as it is causing undue stress to my father. After speaking to 'Paul' the customer service manager I felt somewhat hopeful that he had listened to me and sorted a bank transfer to happen by the close of business that day (8.7.25). Guess what...nothing!! We are now 48 days after the initial cancellation and my father is still out of pocket. I have called Consumer Advice Scotland and logged this issue with them. Not only was the salesman in breach of the law for staying for an unneccessary amount of time but also fraud as he at no point mentioned the £400 administration fee. Come on Clydebuilt Windows and doors you need to step up and reimburse the money before this escaltes to a small claim court case. My advice STEER CLEAR and as another customer said AVOID AVOID AVOID

Unfinished concrete work . And damaged conservatory floor

We got 14 windows fitted 14 August 24
Had to wait 3month with unfinished internals in sitting room bay window as units were fixed off square by 15mm .
October 24 another fitter dewly arrived with replacement hardwood cill tottaly wrong colour ! And proceeded to take 30 photos of external Finnish. And commented he had never seen such a rough fit like it in a while !
Consequently after he submitted his report along with his photos !
The original fitter came back to try and rectify . His answer was they never supplied long enough cills for the mitre externally . So just had to do the best he could to make our windows presentable!!
on the outside .
Our conservatory floor was damaged on two place's when the fitter dropped the old unit on removal . Photos were taken .
Still waiting for someone to come look ,
Also the concrete work was damaged on removal of one of the old units .Still waiting repair . It's now ten months with god knows how many e mails I've sent.
Because all I would get is promise after promise if I phoned . With no record what was promised .that's why I only email now for record . But alas no reply to emails now.
To conclude this I asked for one more window for our kitchen Sept 24 , to be told over the phone no problem .
Still waiting

Poor follow up

Matt, Mark and Luke were quick, tidy and efficient. I have no problem with the work they carried out.
The problem was I received a front door with no letterbox. The letterbox had been discussed when the guys came to measure up for the windows and doors.
The 3 star rating is down to the complete lack of after care.
Completely ignored my emails about getting the letterbox installed.

On the surface it looked like windows…

On the surface it looked like windows were ok. Had some fitted march and october last year. However i discovered major errors in two windows that i was having other work on - mullions and lintels. One of the march windows was out by 40mm in height and badly covered up. Facia at top was at an angle instead of straight onto the top as well. Foam filler had only been partly successful and did not cover all area required. The much larger window was more of major error. The six securing screws into the wall- only one managed to go into concrete and the others into the cavity. The big window had poorly applied external filler and the one smaller was forget to be applied at all. Have sent an email with complaint but not responded to and another reminder with similar lack of customer care. I do not know how badly the other windows have been fiited as work was not carried out on them by my builders. On this basis i would not recommend either for window build quality, fitting etc and customer care.

Professional, courteous and very approachable

From first contacting Clydebuilt to initial consultation and fitting my window and door, all were professional and very nice people.
Mark and Matt did a smashing job and completed the whole installation in less than 2 hours. Leaving everything clean and tidy.

I just had 3 windows and 2 doors…

I just had 3 windows and 2 doors fitted. The fitters were really nice guys who left a great job. They actually reported a fault to their office that I never even noticed.

The repair guy came today and also fixed a door which had developed an issue. Great and helpful lad.

So far, I honestly couldn't fault the company. Also a decent price
