We bought the Charlotte two seat sofa bed. It wasn’t as easy to pull out or put away as advertised. Quite difficult for us and found it very heavy. Hard to sleep on despite it being sprung in one part of the sleeping area and we ended up getting rid of it after 10 months. Expensive mistake.

I love my giant sofa, even though it's a deeper mustard than the yellow I hoped for. Its very comfortable to sit on - haven't tried it as a bed yet. I was surprised at the depth of it (about 6ins more than I expected), as hadn't realised the width of the arms was also the width of the back behind the cushions because it forms part of the mattress for the bed.

Ordered sofa end of Jan to be told 28 days to be delivered. It's now mid March and still no sofa or update. Left several messages and spoken to customer service team but no one seems able to tell me when it's coming at all, wish I'd read the reviews before ordering as seems many people have had the same poor experience. I just really hope the sofa is wonderful when it finally arrives 🤞🏻

We ordered our sofa on the 1st of February, with the website advertising "Order now to get your sofa delivered by the end of February". The order has been delayed and the sofa has not arrived but no updates were provided.

They allow an option on their tracking system for the user to give a date they'd like their sofa by. A pointless functionality as this was not honoured or acknowledged.

When I reached out to try and find out why the sofa was delayed they offered a blank "it was out of our control" statement.

Very disappointed with the lack of communication and transparency, given these are extremely expensive sofas.

I decided to return the sofa as it wasn’t right for me. They picked it up quickly on 4th November. It’s been nearly three months and I still haven’t received a refund, despite them promising many times. I am paying interest on my credit card as had to buy a different sofa on my credit card. I also ordered in July - took over three months for delivery. Be very careful buying from them.

I and my wife were warmly received and showen the different sofas. We were given first class reception by the management. We actually wanted something befitting and the staffs were very helpful. At the end, our sofas were delivered to our house. Special shout out to Cocoon

Michael, who runs the showroom near Portsmouth, was absolutely wonderful! We are expecting a baby so needed a sofa bed to fit the dimensions of the house we are currently renting but also wanted to be able to use it in our new house that we are building. As its modular, this sofa bed is perfect as can be adjusted and added onto AND when we visited the showroom, Michael has a mock of the small Harry already built for us in exactly the neutral colour we wanted. It’s so comfortable and with limited suppliers of this standard in NI, was worth the wait! There were issues with the delivery in that it was difficult to get the delivery men to deliver to the room we needed it in but Michael resolved these issues but explaining the parts in the boxes can be split up to ease carrying and submitted a partial refund as had to assemble ourselves but its fairly straightforward and Michael sent photos on what’s ap. Everything you’d want from a Sofabed. Great storage, looks great, comfortable and reasonably priced as opposed to the high street one we had before that looked garish, was hard to lie on, difficult to assemble or move from bed to couch and expensive. Thank you Michael for all your efforts!!

Speculatively emailed Cocoon just days before Christmas with family coming to stay - they were super responsive and able to ship a sale item for me the day after I ordered and (comfortably) in time for Christmas. Thanks for the awesome service and great product also (which came highly recommended by our visiting relatives).

I’d been keeping an eye on Cocoon for a few years until I needed a new SofaBed and they didn’t disappoint. I even recommended them to a friend and they’re just as pleased and I am. I placed my order and added a note to say when I needed the bed by, and they delivered! As a sofa it’s really comfy (more comfy than my actual sofa) and as a bed it’s perfect! Yes, it’s a little stiff to open/close but it’s new and will easy over time. The live tracking link also helps so you can see the stages of build, quality check and courier pickup. Their customer service was also amazing.

Set up and intalled by the delivery men, who were excellent.
The sofa is amazing and we are very happy with the purchase.
Michael was most helpful, from start to finish he kept us advised.

I sent an enquiry through the company's online form to ask advice about dry cleaning and 5 minutes later I received a call from Michael to answer my question!! To say I was shocked was an understatement and he was extremely friendly and helpful with his advice.

I have had my cocoon sofa bed for 4 years and couldn't be more delighted with it. Would absolutely recommend this product and this company to anyone!!

I bought a Sofabed a couple of years ago now and everyone who has slept in it has commented on how very comfortable it is.

When it arrived it was easy to set up, everything just slotted into place. It’s easy to convert. My only gripe was trying to get a sheet to fit so have now ordered a fitted sheet.

I’ve also just ordered a footstool to go with the sofa and contacted the company to make sure I ordered the right size. They were so very helpful.

So 5 stars for products and 5 stars for service. Thank you Cocoon and a shout out to Michael.

We went to choose a small sofa bed from the showroom. Michael was excellent, very informative and personable. Highly recommend

Unsure which model to buy from the details on line and having an opportunity to visit the showroom, we were found it a very informative visit. We were able to look at the differnces between the models, see all the fabrics and sit on both the sofas and a bed.
I would recommend a visit if you are able.
All we have to do now is decide from the huge choice, which sofa and fabric to buy for our room

I bought the Ashley corner sofa bed in April 2022 and its been used as a sofa and also provided many comfortable nights for my adult sons and their partners when they have slept over; all commenting on the great sleep they get in it. I'm moving home to a flat and want to take it with me but was concerned at how manageable this would be. A quick email to customer service and 24 hours later I understood how the chaise part detaches completely, making it so easy to move! I am delighted. Such a great product; I love it.

OK, so the sofas are comfy, so I'm pleased from that perspective, but customer service has been poor, and I still don't have what i ordered nearly a year later. I also have some concerns over quality control.

If you have an issue with your product, my experience has been that they are not responsive and my issue looks set to reach its one year anniversary, and I've still not got the two sofas I ordered in good order.

I ordered two matching sofas in autumn 2024 - a corner sofa and a two seater. I did like being able to choose from a range of fabrics, and they were helpful in slightly modifying my order so that the two would properly match (making the arms the same width).

The wait for delivery was quite long, and was later than I'd expected (although I'd anctiicpated some wait from reviews I read, it was longer than they'd estimated).

On delivery, one sofa was missing, and the second was damaged. I think that the missing one was a mistake by the courier (Empire), but I suspect the damage probably happened somewhere from factory to UK distribution, as the actual delivery people from Empire have always seemed diligent and professional. This meant that I straight away had to raise a ticket.

When the second sofa arrived, it was also damaged, so I now had two sofas with visible damage to the arms.

After quite a lot of back and forth, they arranged for a service call with new arms. This took quite a long time, and when they arrived, both were wrong. One was the right size, but with incorrect stitching which didn't match the sofa, and the other was wrong in every way (wrong width, wrong length, wrong fittings) so they were rejected.

It has taken six months for the next service call to happen, which was yesterday as I write this, where the service team (still polite and excellent) only had one arm, and it was once again the wrong arm, so we've rejected it.

In the meantime, I've raised a ticket for the stitching on the lightly used sofa starting to visibly come away, and a month later nobody has even acknowledged it.

So, nearly a year after ordering, I still don't have the sofas I paid for.

If you're lucky enough for your order to be correct, then they are comfy, but if you have a problem be prepared to not get what you wanted.

I visited the showroom and am looking forward to receiving my new sofa. Visiting the showroom gives you a good ideas on how to make the most of your sofabed, so many more possibilities and future uses. There are so many different colours and fabrics that are worth seeing in daylight. Craig was very knowledgeable and helpful, really worth visiting the showroom.

We booked an appointment at the showroom and because we travelled from afar, we arrived really early. This was no problem for Craig (the boss).
Craig was so friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about his products - we were blown away.
He ‘opened our eyes’ to a far greater range of products than we could ever have imagined.
His flexibility of product options, delivery and reassurance put us at ease immediately.
I would definitely recommend going to the showroom and meeting Craig.

What a great experience I had dealing with Claire and Michael, who were professional and beyond helpful. My order of a Poppy chair bed in the beautiful colour Summertime arrived, but the fabric and colour were wrong. Having said that there is a very happy ending to this review. Claire advised that I could keep the chair bed that had been delivered until the correct order was ready and then they would just swap them over. This was done without fuss or query. I have never bought anything from Cocoon before but I cannot rate them highly enough and would definitely buy from them again.
