Fantastic customer service.

It took 5 minutes to program remotely my new touchscreen to my car. I connected at the wrong time and Steven was super flexible.

Steve helped me upgrade my F31 from NBT to NBT Evo. Not only was he extremely knowledgable... He was SUPER responsive. While the upgrade is not a cheap bit of tech, I wish I would have done this sooner! What a difference! On top of helping with the regular programming, Steve also helped me get back things I programmed prior to the upgrade. Overall this was a fantastic experience. Thank you so much!

Steve was awesome and made sure everything came out exactly as planned. I had been searching through forums to figure out how to delete EDC from my 2014 F22 M235i after installing BC coilovers. After months of searching, I stumbled across codemybimmer and haven't looked back. I will for sure be working with this company again on my future projects. Super trustworthy and seamless process!

After months of frustration with other companies and options, Steve immediately created a reasonable and cost effective solution. I upgraded my HU and screen along with related software and navigation. Everything came quickly and pre-programmed. Steve was tremendously helpful, available, and walked me through the installation. Everything works great! Service fantastic. Already thinking about what I can do next.

One installation suggestion. When installing the cables that connect to the center console USB port, just take the trim off the center console instead of trying to blindly stuff the cords up the side panel. It pulls through easily and your visibility is so much better. Will save you time and potential frustration.

I was having issues with my hu high and I shopped around before going with steve. His price was 60% cheaper and he has a reputation in one of the bmw forums. Not only did steve worked on my problem instead of just selling me a hu, he also explained the process and consequences which I liked because if I can count on steve for little things I need I’m sure I can rely on him on the bigger things. Superb service.

Head unit (HU) fried on my ‘15 X6M 3 days after I got the car. (3 days in an enclosed transport, something was left on and batteries were drained). I replaced it myself with a used pull I found on ebay, but of course half the functions (nav/all audio) were disabled because the HU was married to a different car.

Connected ENET cable to laptop, Steve connected remotely to laptop and through VPN was able to ‘divorce’ the HU and remarry it to my VIN and reassign it all the nav/audio rights that my VIN came with.

Initially I thought my TopHiFi amp got damaged as well and that’s why there was no sound after I installed the HU. Turned out to be that the HU came from a HiFi car which apparently don’t marry the amp to the HU unlike the TopHiFi units do. Once Steve did his magic everything came alive and I can once again listen to tunes and enjoy my commute.

Steve saved me a ton of money and delivered beyond my expectations. If I ever find myself in trouble again I would definitely buy their services without a second thought and will recommend them to anyone that needs advanced coding work at a respectable price.

There’s 3 levels of service depending on what they need to do, so contact them before purchasing to make sure. My work was level 2.

When I say, words can’t express my experience and gratitude to anyone more than Steve with Codemybimmer. Steve have saved me thousands of dollars in electrical repairs if I went to the dealership. With better customer service and good quality work. If I could give 10 stars I would give 15 stars. He is very prompt when I need help and will forever use his expert service.

I got an issue with the OEM HU f30. The HU reboots after 2 o 3 minuts. I bought another HU, but i read something about FCS codes, after a deep serch on internet, many people recomends Steven. So i contact him and in a few hours he answer very well explained my possible cases. I Installed the new HU but the speakers didnt work, Steven remotly check and the HU was damaged, So, he told me exactly the problem, and after that he help me to find another HU in ebay, and finally help to code.
I mention Help because the work that i paid was the coding to the new HU, not diagnostic the problem in speakers and serch another used HU.
Some people just do the work, but Steven gives you a service. I glad to have this kind of support, really saved me a lot of money.

Steve is simply an awesome guy. The iDrive head unit on my 2014 BMW (F32) 435ix died (stuck on BMW startup screen). Not only did Steve recode the replacement iDrive head unit for me, he helped me find the right one! If you've ever tried to replace one of these you know how confusing it is! There are so many different versions, they may may all fit physically but not all of them will work without expensive modifications! You rarely, if ever see all 5 star reviews -- There's a reason for that and a reason why CodeMyBimmer is one of the only businesses you'll see with only 5-star reviews. Bravo Steve! Thanks again!

I purchased my 2014 BMW 328i GT in 2020. Maybe how the year began I should of considered that in my car purchase. 1 week in and my Media screen went to the grave, followed by a HDD failure in the headunit and error codes just crawling all over. I went 6 months just counting the days to get out of the vehicle in to something newer as I lost all my QOL features i purchased the vehicle for.

Replacing a Headunit & Screen can cost at a BMW dealership between $3,000-$5,000 with OEM parts.
I was able to Salvage a screen for $136 on eBay, the headunit was still costing $2200 for parts, and the 3-5 hours of labor to Code it to my vehicle.

Steve @ Code My Bimmer was the Light in the darkness and the answer to all my questions. I have an NBT headunit that is not the most needed/asked for piece, he had a few left in stock and for just $580 (inc shipping) he coded me an OEM head unit to my VIN with 2021 Maps ready to go! I've saved thousands thanks to Steve. He has been on call for all questions. I was apprehensive at first; like anyone would be, I could not recommend a more pleasant company and person to do business with.

I upgraded a 2012 BMW F25 from the CIC head unit to a new NBT Evo head unit which is a bit more involved of an upgrade that involves splicing wires and I also installed a backup camera while I was at it.
Steve was not only very knowledgeable but really great to work with. Communication was easy and the whole thing went as smooth as could be!

Steve is super helpful. With lots of patients, he even helped me debug other issues after coding.

Upgraded the NBT firmware and patched the software so that CarPlay is now FULL screen. Steve was great, helpful and thorough. Made sure that I tested the car and updates before he disconnected from the car.

I did the NBT EVO ID6 upgrade on a 2014 435i with an Entry_HU system that had failed. If you are thinking about this install, rest assured you are in good hands with Steve. Communication before and after the sale was better than good, it was proactive. He does not wait for you to ask questions but reaches out to make sure you know he is available. As for the upgrade, I couldn't be happier. It worked perfectly and brings this car up to date for $1,000 less than the dealer was going to charge to replace (not upgrade) the old non-navigation unit.
