Worst dating app ever!

Worst dating app ever! I am on different dating sites for last 25 years (on and off). You get like 6,7 daily potential dates. Used to have number of Chinese fake profiles. App itself go off all the time, profiles and chats disappearing then appearing ??? Very terrible !!!

Mediocre App - Blatant Cash Grab

I bought the premium version a few days ago. Got a few matches but in order to continue swiping on people, you are constantly bombarded with appeals to buy “more beans.” $6.99 here, $30 here. This app is designed to squeeze as much money from you as it can. Even with a “premium subscription”, you’re only given a limited amount of swipes per day. Once you use them up, you better be ok with paying an exorbitant amount of money to continue to have the type of access to matches that Hinge and Bumble offer. Contrast this app to Hinge or even Bumble, where you’re less hounded for cash and it offers you more for your money. Stick with Hinge, Bumble, or even Tinder. This is by far the worst dating app I’ve ever used.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. I paid nearly 100 US for 6 months and in the first two months I only got one boost a month and after two months I was kicked back to basic subscription. I contacted so called customer support and I received no reply. They robbed me of at least two thirds of my money spent. Absolute con job and none existant customer support. Please stay well clear of this site

I purchased the subscription but…

I purchased the subscription but suddenly the app show me "it didn't go as expected, subscription details aren't loading, we aren't sure what happened, but restarting the app and trying again might fix it". Then I try to restart the app but it still show me the same message, then I try to logout and login again but it create a new account although I login with my email dan mobile number I used before. My previous matches are gone, my previous chats are gone. I want to refund but they say it's not refundable. Just be careful guys!

Doesn't work as simple as that

Doesn't work as simple as that, you get all sorts of match even after mentioning deal breaker filters..chat app sucks, this app claims of high matching algorithms but doesn't work. If a match happens the other side party is not active at all. The app sends report of being active in last 72 hours??? Are the people on vacation that they need time to be active on this app! Please be aware.

They no longer show likes

I have just updated this review due to CMB changing their rules and not allowing any of your likes (NOT EVEN ONE a day) to be seen in the Suggested profiles. Slow, bugged and genuinely useless. Sorry, I am out.

Worst dating app

You will only receive 1 to 3 men to look at. When I first entered, I had maybe 15, but all from out of the country, so it was a waste of 36.00. Please don't get scammed; they are also fake people, not real, maybe AI. The app also drowns you with buying flowers and beans.

Good app but just not enough users in UK

I joined this app in mid October, a month ago, and live in the UK. The app seems good and a solid platform but unfortunately there seems to be a distinct lack of users in the UK for it to be of any use. I live in Scotland but had to set my settings to a wide area to even get any new users appear and for some reason most are of Asian/Chinese ethnicity, perhaps promoted better to such.

Anyway, I gave it a month but it's doing nothing for me, even with a discounted premium membership plan that was offered, it is not worth taking if there are too few people on it in my country.

It needs more promotion in the UK and to take off for it to be of any real benefit in my opinion.

One plus point, it seems to be devoid of scammers which are rife on some other dating apps.

The platform itself is solid

The platform itself is solid, and easy to use. However, there are still some bad people who somehow find their way there. I was unlucky to have met one of those bad people, who I later discovered ran what is called pig butchering on me. Luckily, I found and reported to Broker Complaint Alert, and they were able to help me get back all that I lost. I will recommend CMB any day, but I will also advise you to do due diligence of anyone you meet there. And if like me, you have also fallen for one of the bad people, you can recover your losses by reaching out to Broker Complaint Alert.

Never use CMB for your own good

Never use CMB for your own good. I matched with profile name Jin who claimed to be from Canada and work as a software engineer at Meta in Seattle, WA, U.S. and wanted to meet me at my town for work (out of the blue) and asked for my instagram account. Immediately I said "no." What a joke. Meta company does not exist at my town. Watch out for scammers like Jin!

Coffee meets Bullsh website is a…

Coffee meets Bullsh website is a bunch of fake profiles. I’ve spent over $250 on likes and not one response. On other sites I do pretty well. About 2/10 or 20%. I live in NYC. This site full of supposedly highly educated MBAs and great looking girls is so fu fake. What a joke. As bad as Tinder. DONT WASTE YOUR COFFEE OR YOUR BAGEL.

I’m a very good looking and successful guy. 6 ft tall , 153 lbs , runner actor in movies and tv.

A Zero response after $250 worth of beans purchased and used is an obvious and flagrant use of fake profiles posted on your site.

Coffee meets Bagel site is a misrepresentation of what it boasts to be. A flagrant lie and a blatant con.

Other sites I’m about 20%-30%. This site is absolutely 💯 Fake.

Scam Story

His name is Gary Wong a Chinese American-Singaporean. Locate his profile in Singapore. Works as project engineer manager on the oil rig at Kuwait. He claims as a loner - has no friend and no social media, his mom died last year and cheated by his fiancée 2,5 years ago. A polite sweet person. Try to build your trust. Not too "too good to be true". End up with a story of "brokedown machine" which need to be fixed. He asked to login to his account and make the transfer to the supplier. Because he trusts me so much!

His English is quite good (rare to find typo or miss-spelling). Chated via Whatsapp with +1(306)*********

Once you reject to do the banking transfer he will drop the communications down.

The scammer probably stole someone else profile. I feel sorry to this guy!

Very small user group

This the message the app displayed to me
"Doesn't look like there is anyone to discover (yet). The CMB community is still growing in your area. invite some friends to give it a jump start and check later"

Are you kidding me! What is the point in a dating app where you have to invite users to get a date. If I knew people for dates, do you think I would be using a dating app! Ridiculous!

The selection is not great. Not terrible though. I used a bunch of the tips from the Swipefix Dating Blog about Coffee Meets Bagel and they helped. Just takes some consistency.

I believe the company itself is fake ……

I believe the company itself is fake … the two women who appeared on Shark Tank turned down a very lucrative offer! Free publicity?

Without exception, every match they sent was recently widowed, educated in a foreign country (not easy to check on); self employed (or consultant); usually worked in gas and oil (on a rig somewhere); near retirement after this one last project!
