Incoming crypto transfers are stuck since two weeks
The service has been good until 30th December 2024. We have a 5-digit amount in cryptocurrency on receive hold, they are being 'in progress' since that date with no actual progress. Support couldnt help past week, aside of providing a link to their 'unconfirmed transfers' article. Well, the transfer is stuck since almost 14 days for the oldest one. We're loosing money due to negative course changes, horrible.
Update: Issue still exists and we lost multiple thousand euro due to negative course changes. Support is not helpful, only response was after 10 days of constant asking and calling them. Cant recommend for now.
Update #2: Issue is resolved. Finally the transfers were showing up as pending and just needed justification. Anyhow, 13 days wasted and ~1k of negative course changes. We'll look for another solution, this is kind of damaging.

Unfortunately the impact of the Travel Rule legislation coming into effect in the beginning of the year had led to unforeseen technical difficulties on both our end as well as on other exchanges ends. This ultimately required us to temporarily halt transfers until we were able to remedy the issue. By now, transfers should be functioning normally. So please do reach out to support again if you are still facing issues.
Easy and stable with no nonsense
Easy to use web interface. I haven't tried the mobile app.
Feels very secure: mandatory KYC, strong verification when registering and when logging in, FIN-FSA is supervising.
Please be aware that this is not a bank, there isn't the usual 100k deposit guarantee but this goes for the other two Finnish crypto trading companies too, of course.
I'll strike off one star and give 4/5, because Coinmotion's fees are not the lowest, although reasonable. And please, dark mode theme for the web interface, could you do it?

Best so far for Finnish users
Coinmotion is the best for Finnish users. Even if they don't have the widest selection of crypto, their customer service and transfers are better than any others. Very easy and fast to transfer money from and to my Finnish bank account. Not the cheapest option, but you pay a price for quality.
