Someone stole all my assets from Coinsquare and even tried to do an interac funds transfer from my bank account, luckily the transfer was not allowed.
However, I lost all my assets. Awaiting Coinsquare’s response.
All this happened after I transitioned to Quick Trade. Hopefully Coinsquare reimburses me!!

There is a person on tweeter having account name as " Vijay Nishad @VijayNi75385930".
he is simply messaging people on tweeter asking to contact him for any help related to coinsquare and he tags coinsquare as well on the tweeter and shared his email id as coinsquarehelpdeskATgmail.com
Still coinsquare doesnt care about this scammer.
He is still active on tweeter and still doing scams without any fear. Not sure whom to contact in such case. I tried sending email to support@coinsquare about this incident but support team didnt took any action and didnt even helped to refund my money.
As a part of account synchronization this fraudster keeps asking money to his wallet address and also I tried to withdraw my money from coinsquare but didnt received it. Lost around CAD 300 and coinsquare doesnt even reply/resolve this issue.
I have all the proof and emails that I shared with Coinsquare but didnt got any solution.

After merging with QuickTrade the withdrawals are unstable, decided to close the account.

My husband has a Coinsquare account. He passed in May of 2021. I have been trying since August to get them to transfer his balance to my new account with Coinsquare. I have sent all the documents to them, the same documents I sent to Bitbuy and Coinbase, whom have transfered the monies to my account with them in a matter of days. Coinsquare on the other hand keep saying they need more documents, documents I cant provide and I was told by a lawyer are not needed. I now receive no responses to my emails what so ever. I was told on Jan 20/22 that my file was being transferred to a Manager. I have heard nothing. I have sent 3 emails since Jan 20/22 and still nothing. This is what they do to a poor widow can you imagine what they do to others. I don't know what more I can do. I am now filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Coinsquare is a horrible company to deal with. Oh yes, you no longer can call them. They give no help but by email now. Hm, I wonder why....

Coinsquare lets your account get frauded and do nothing about it. The ‘supervisor - Adrian’ washed his hands of everything and basically said ‘it’s your fault, too bad.’
Horrible Horrible customer service and customer help and satisfaction.
Do not use this company. They are frauds and scam artists.
It may take a while but you will lose whatever money you trust with this company.

This is a Canadian cryptocurrency company that is a scam. When you deposit money to your wallet with them they prohibit any withdrawals for three months even if you make a good profit on your money invested. Then they have rules that make it illegal to withdraw if you have less than 0.03 Ethereum which is no small amount when you consider the current price of Ether. When you do have enough to withdraw you place the withdrawal request which needs to be confirmed by answering an email confirmation sent to your email account. The problem is - they never send the email. Then when you try to withdraw more it blocks the new withdrawal because the previous withdrawal was never confirmed by email which they never sent to you in the first place. When you ask them to close your account they tell you, you have to withdraw the crypto in your account before they can do that. But because you cannot ever withdraw they never close your account. I am reporting them to the Ontario Trade Commission to have their licence revoked.

Never had an issue with them, I have withdrawn quite a bit over the last few years.

The site is a bit wonky though, for instance everytime someone buys some of your order the page will turn blank and you have to refresh.

Overall I would recommend to others.

Coinsquare is messing around with me. I had 3kCAD and for some reason which I do not know yet they blocked my account saying they have a review on my account. I requested to withdraw my money, I have sent verification more than 3times, done everything they asked and it has been 1 month that I am not getting my money back. So This IS A BULLS''' COMPANY. DO NO USE THEIR SERVICES

No support, deposit money, withdraw /Transfer coin bad. I am going to close me account.

I had not logged on in a few weeks. When I logged back in I discovered my account was hacked. I didn't have a lot of money in my account but that isn't the point. No notification was given for security breach to clients. No remedy. All I was told was to report this to "the proper authorities." So in other words "you're out of luck bud."

My first tip on their operations should have been no phone number for customer service. I should have used better judgement, so shame on me.

My word of advice regarding Coinsquare...RUN.

I am getting no answers as to how my initial attempt to withdraw went to and sits unredeamed on the blockchain.

Coinsquare seems unwilling to provide proof, any evidence that I sent them the address, (account # for public record) they used, had me acknowledge.
Coinomi also accepts no responsibility for their app confirming or providing the account used, my coins were sent to, or for my coins being accessible by me.
These coins have continued to sit, for over 3 years unclaimed by anyone, and seems unclaimable by me? or anyone for eternity?
(Even though easily legally provable mine)

Coinsquare support also seems to continue to ignore requests for "communication detail" they acknowledged by email, and state is available? (yet it is not)

Very poor customer service and after telling them many time to cancel the
Scam transaction and they have didn’t. They have said to me they did cancel the scam withdrawal request but they didn’t. They took all my money and not providing me the details where the money gone. They should be complained for not providing enough information and details of the transaction. I will go into the depth. No phone customer service and no proper response. Beware of them. Even they have phone call service after sending a email I haven’t got a reply yet. They are not even 1 star but don’t have option for negative stars.

Been trying to contact Coinsquare about processing a withdrawal for over 2 weeks now. No response, seems they don't care that their customers may need access to their money. Open a Binance account instead.

Terrible service—transferred money in almost a month ago and it’s still not available

The response times are pretty damn horrible, been 2 weeks, and still have gotten no response, was not able to invest in the Crypto, lost an opportunity, not even sure where my money has gone.

I can’t withdraw and or deposit. They say my shares are safe but my funds are not!!! I have lost money due to Coinsquare negligence!!!!

My best advice to anyone researching this company, is to TRUST THE MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS here!

I cannot go into much detail, because I am currently exploring legal avenues in hopes of rectifying my issue.

I will say that I have contacted their support numerous times over the course of the last month, via email and their online bot, and there has been absolute radio silence. The fact that my situation could probably have been cleared up with a simple response, just screams to me that they cannot be trusted.

Caveat Emptor to anyone even contemplating using this exchange.

Added note: in a true twist of irony, while seemingly infuckingcapable of responding to any message I sent them for exactly 1 month now, Coinsquare did seem to find the time to flag this review.

I received an email from coinsquare informing that my account is in the list of accounts that got affected due to the app upgrade on May 2nd 2021. I submitted all the requested documents as proof of ownership of the account and there is no response from them yet.

I made a mistake sending wire transfer under my wife's bank account. I've used the chat bot and entered Wire payment ID and my account number (so you can locate my wire transfer). Up to now, no replies to any of my messages.

I'm extremely disappointed at the response time. How can we trust a company that doesn't reply at all.

This coinsquare is a complete joke.. they update, I lose access to my account, and NO REPLY, going on a week now.. sent many messages to their stupid chat line, which is a joke, as well, found an email to email them, but NOTHING.. stay away from this place, unless you just want to give money away, because once they have it, good luck getting it back....
