A bad and anti-Semitic company, they don't respect people, they keep your money and urinate on you with a bow, they are even worse than that, it's as if companies won't survive at all.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. DO NOT USE Coinsquare.
As with lots of other comments here, basically locked out of my account due to some 2FA issue. I login from my computer and it gives a QR to scan in the app. Try to login on phone app to scan QR and says I cant login while QR factor enabled on another phone, which it isn't. I have one phone. It was working until it logged me out of the phone app. I'll be attempting to withdrawal my funds once I can hopefully access my account again but sounding like withdrawing funds is a pain a well. Again do not use these guys. Customer service is non existent.

Unable to login Slow Customer service

After their update, I can't login into my account. The customer service is only through e-mail only and even though it says 24 hours it's never actually 24 hours. Will keep this review up and update everyone if and how long it took for my issue to be resolved.

Do not give these Coinsquare a cent

Do not give these Coinsquare a cent. No customer service at all. Before you sign up to CS Send them an email or ask their online chat to get back to you. It will not happen. I still have an account with them until I can close it down however the bulk of my money went to Coinberry. Thankfully. My last transaction with CS I was trying to deposit $10,000 through E transfer. After three days still not deposited. I then tried contacting them, wow you can’t contact them. Interesting. Luckily I got smart and opened another account at Coinberry. Do not give these guys your money. Who knows where it will go.

I have made a wire transfer assuming…

UPDATE: The issue has been resolved. Their director of Marketing personally reached out to me. They are going through a growing pain and this is understandable. Have some patience if you are facing the similar challenges.

I have feeling that their help desk would step up their game

My name is "Mahmudur Rahman" and I go by Moe Rahman (if coinsquare guys reading it) I have made a wire transfer assuming this would be the fastest . Was that ever a mistake! it has been 4 days for me but people are waiting for months it seems.

No customer service! no replies to emails. As a matter of fact I have sent few messages to the Chief revenue officer and the CEO of Coinsqure on Linkedin. At this point I just want my money back.

I tried to escalate this to BBB (Better Business bureau) and found out that Coinsquare is not affiliated with them (A huge red flag) if I don't have a resolution by EOD today, Ill file a report with RCMP and get this escalated to banking governing body.

Canadians should think twice before sending a single penny over to these guys.

Update:
Their response has lies.

-I have indeed uploaded the transaction receipt (TWICE). If they have flaws in their system- they could have asked me to submit it in a different way - could have given me a call. PS: One can not report a wire transfer without submitting a copy of the receipt. (This field is MANDATORY!

- Coinsquare is definitely not affiliated but goNumerical Ltd is. But that is not even Accredited
with BBB. Those who would like to file a complaint in BBB, they would need to look for goNumerical Ltd. I was able to file a complaint through BBB and uploaded my transaction receipt through them.

Reply to your update

Updated concern : I come from banking industry. And I’m not sure if validating KYC in a public platform is legal. I would get this checked with FCAC.

Hello Mahmudur Rahman,

We are experiencing much higher then normal volumes on our platform like all other exchanges we are working hard to scale our operational teams to meet this new level of demand.

I've looked into your specific case and it looks like you did not upload a wire receipt when you made the wire payment. this is essential as we need a receipt in order to attribute the received funds to the correct account.

Please upload a receipt and we can credit your account.

Also, regarding your comment about Coinsquare and BBB. We do indeed have a listing with BBB. simply looking up coinsquare in the search field will result in a listing.

Update:
Please note the account associated with the email you provided never went through KYC. Do you perhaps have a different email/ account?

You are correct, that is why I didn't ask you to post your email and strongly suggest you remove your email. as per the email I just sent you.

would love to continue our conversation there.

UPDATE : THE ISSUE IS NOT SOLVED
Their saying I have transfer diferent account ? I have only one account, never make mistake
Their response has lies.
-I have indeed uploaded the transaction receipt (10 times). If they have flaws in their system- they could have asked me to submit it in a different way - could have given me a call

Withdrawal issues with zero customer support …

This is the second time I have gone into Coinsquare to withdraw and that I’ve had an issue where I cannot put a dollar amount in without getting some kind of error. There is no error as I have checked everything including open orders and withdrawal history. It seems I could only put in a percentage. Unfortunately that is not what I want to use.
There is no one to speak to see if this situation can be rectified. The chat line is nonexistent and the last time I wrote an email it took over a week to get back to me. Fortunately I found part of the information that I requested on my own the first time and ended up having to use a percentage as opposed to an actual dollar amount. Shortly afterwards the crypto had plunged and had I waited for all this time to hear back I would not have been able to redeem the amount I did. Worse, I received a sorry excuse for an apology. In fact it was downright rude.
I don’t think I’ve ever had such a horrible experience with any company. Will try to redeem again (unfortunately having to use the percentage since again I cannot use a dollar amount)
and will see if the full withdrawal process even works today.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Before you put your money in a virtual crypto company please ensure that there is actually customer support in place. Coinsquare has none and on top of that there appear to be consistent glitches in their system.

Out of the 5 Crypto exchanges Ive used…

Out of the 5 Crypto exchanges I've used this one is by far the worst to use and not a good user experience. They hold your money longer and for no reason after you get verified.
Other exchanges may charge a bit higher fees but they actually have customer service. I have sent 3 messages over the last 3 days asking for a little help with a withdrawal and still haven't gotten a response back.
***Update:. I did end up being able to withdrawal my deposits, it just needed up taking 4 days, could've made 25% off that money in those days. Still No "email within 24 hours" from coinsquare. For a Canadian company that's pretty sad.

Worst support ever!!

Worst support ever!!! No telephone support, no chat support, nothing. All you can do is an email to them and wait forever for an answer back. For them to be a so called "crypto exchange" they are using very shady and sitty tacktics, even small businesses have a phone number that you can call. If anyone else reads this AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!! P.S. I thought that they would of been ok for being in Toronto as I live in Ottawa WOW worst business ever, gives other businesses that are legit a bad vibe.

11 Day Wait for an account approval. That's worst support EVER!!! For crying out loud hire some people to work!!!

My account was hacked and all funds…

My account was hacked and all funds were stolen. Have written support tickets. I sent a letter of demand to the CEO. March 16, 2021 (No Reply). I sent the same letter to another associate of the management team April 13th, 2021. To this day I still have no support from them. I will change this review if and when I hear some news from the management team. How unfortunate is it, that a huge profitable company would stand by and let this happen to a customer. We aren’t speaking about small amount of money.....16k. As far as I’m concerned this company is a scam. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COINSQUARE!

Holding my CAD hostage -- CANNOT WITHDRAW

Same as many others. I deposited by CAD with no issues. Was able to trade ETH with no issues. Easy to convert ETH to CAD, no issues.

Now that I want to withdraw my CAD back into my bank account, after numerous repeated messages back and forth with Support and following their instructions carefully, I still cannot withdraw my CAD. I think a Class Action lawsuit is in order for this criminal organization that takes your funds and hold them hostage.

NEVER AGAIN.

Locked out of account for months without resolution ...

I have been trying to get access to my cryptocurrency trading account, with CoinSquare, by resolving my ID verification ticket for over three months and have four open tkts. In the process I have lost a lot of money because I cannot access my account.
However no one from CoinSquare support is responding or actioning the tickets. Once a month, after a couple emails each week, I hear from a support rep who fail to provide any resolution. And these guys are holding my assets hostage and not letting me get out of it. I am trying to find a reliable lawyer to sue the time and financial loss these guys have costed me - if there are any referrals happy to take them.

I tried coinsquare recently Canadians avoid this!

I tried coinsquare recently and all Canadian customers should take note. Although Coinsquare is reviewed in many places a Canadian company I have to question this fact. They charge Canadians only a 2% withdrawal fee. A second problem I placed a limit order to buy Bitcoin and the rate went well below my limit set by over $1000 and the order never executed. Crappy platform that penalizes Canadian customers. If your using a Canadian source for funding caution they will make you pay one way or another.

Thieves

Thieves! I bought a small amount of Bitcoin two years ago. Forgot my username and when I tried to retrieve it they sent me a list of security questions and asked for a photo of myself holding up ID and a paper with current date. I sent them the info and hostage photo. They have never responded. This is fraudulent and unacceptable behavior. This is my money! They should be reported and shut down! Stay away from these thieves!

Total Rip of

I funded my account with $12000 hoping to send and trade my coins on Binance only to be locked out of my account without any explanation. I messaged support on the 25th of February but they keep lying that they are conducting a security review on my account. Its over 4 months now but yet they refuse to unlocked my account, worst of all they are not replying to any of my emails. I will advice everyone trying to use this fraudulent company to stay away. I'm sure taking legal actions because I won't let them get away with my money.
Update: after my review here I got a refund of $12000 while a total of 0.122 btc is still locked in the account. All attempt to reach customer service prove abortive.
Update: Coinsquare finally reached out to me on email and they asked me to submit a photo verification selfie with my ID which i did and after 3 months they refused to reply my email or unlock my account. When i complained on their twitter handle, they blocked me. Please avoid this company at all cost.

Coinsquare is very unsafe.

When I sign into coinsquare all my bitcoin was gone. I contacted there support and they said it wasn’t there fault, with no other explanation. When you sign into coinsquare there is a four digit code and I guess it is easy to hack. I would not recommend this site for crypto, very unsecure.
