Allegedly Compliant in Fraud
They delete comments revealing important information about cars. The seller was covering up an crashed car as "rocks chips" and when I brought attention to the accident, the comment got deleted after 5 minutes. They seem to be compliant in hiding information about cars to make sellers pay 5-6 figures more for a car than what it's worth. Buyers are getting screwed. If you're a seller it's good because you can lie to people and CollectingCars supports that.

Hassle free from start to finish. Jarrod (NZ rep) is fantastic to deal with, explaining to me step by step and answering all my questions that engender great confidence. All I paid was the photography fee which is very reasonable and you get to keep the photo for personal use only afterward. The car was viewed by over 10,000 people around the globe and there were 9 active bidders and over 90 bids before the auction closed. Fund was transferred to my bank account the next day and the successful bidder drove away the car the same day. It is just that easy. I should say Jarrod had worked closely with the bidders, calling them and encouraging them to actively bid and I reckon without his effort, it would have been a very different outcome. I got the price I had wanted which is more or less what Jarrod estimated and the progress was very transparent indeed. I highly recommend Collecting Cars to sell your pride and joy.

Happy with the auction results and process
The platform has matured well - good strategies to improve bidding activity and accurate understanding of fair reserve price vs previously it seemed like they were advising vendors to set low reserves to maximize turnover. Also very helpful throughout the process by phoning and providing regular updates and guidance throughout the auction and post-transaction support.
