Been waiting for prizes for over 6 months, constantly told we're looking into it when they list new comps with my exact prizes or just ignored completely
Still no prize. Cashflow problems?!?
Facts:
Prize won 22nd May - Prize still not received.
They do not reply to any emails, but have intermittently replied via IG messages.
I have sent 15 messages, 10 of which are chasing for a reply. 3 replies have blamed suppliers and 1 blaming the 'social media team'.
I suggested a similar prize as a compromise to assist with the 'supply issue' but didn't receive a reply to this.
My details have been passed over to the 'owner' on the 17th July, and I have had to chase 2 more times yet to receive a reply.
They have continued to list competitions, the same that I won #38 is now on #48, amongst many other ongoing.
Opinions:
This a a single person who is the 'owner', 'social media', 'despatch team' and any other title they choose to give themself. Maybe 2 people at a push. This isn't an issue as this business model should be easily managed by 1 person. I expect this to be a side hustle as most replies are either coming on the weekend or evenings. I worked in a company that ran these for a short time on the side of the main business and from experience this could be ran successfully as a side hustle. I doubt anyone who managed to get this started and able to keep running new competitions would be incompetent enough to not be able to source the prizes.
So my thoughts are that this is a cashflow issue. Using the competition I won for example not all tickets sold but there is the main prize and a number of instant wins, even assuming a 20% discount with the supplier they would still be making approx £80 loss. I doubt this is every time but enough to start causing problems.
Despite all this I do not believe this is a scam, just poorly ran. I'm still holding out hope that I will receive the prize.

I has received my prize as on 01/08/24, 2 months 11 days after winning. Reading other reviews it could have been worse but could of been MUCH better too. The 1 star is still accurate, it's a shame it came to writing a bad review for them to finally send it. I'm seeing lots of people changing a 1 star to a 4/5 star after finally receiving the prize after months of waiting! Seems crazy to me that you have been messed around for months and then decide 'ahhh well it's ok'....

I recently described troubles with contact and not receiving a win after 6 weeks but I do now have my win, as I did say before the competitions looks great for the prices and content but admin side is a bit of a letdown. Hopefully this improves then more stars will appear.
Avoid - this is a scam site
Two prizes from months ago still not received. They’ve stopped replying on both email and Facebook chat now - initially I was told they were looking into the issue, but nearly two weeks later I still haven’t heard back.
I’d recommend avoiding this company like the plague as it seems they’ve opted to start scamming people. If there’s an issue with stock for prizes, it would be better to be honest rather than ignore people for weeks.

Ok so hate to do bad reviews but not really got a choice. I feel I am being completely fobbed off. I have 3 prizes outstanding and the latest one was over a month ago. Communication has been there but very sparse and every time it just feels like excuses. Such a shame because this site has great potential. I have invested a LOT into this site, and all I ask is they honour there side of the terms which currently just is not happening.
Not receiving wins
I won a comp nearly 3 months ago. At first communication was good and eventually (2 months later) the decision was made to substitute the win for something else. (The original win was stuck on back order). Since the I have received not a single word of communication despite multiple attempts to chase.
Consistently lying to customers is not a good way to do business
Been waiting on a few prizes for a looooongggg time now! Very hard to get any sort of information out of the "admin" who don't seem to want to know or just lie to you...Apparently the prizes have been sent out 3 times already yet don't seem to make it to my front door. Don't be fooled by the "these items are being dispatched from our supplier" message you'll probably receive as I've had that a number of times now and seems to be a tactic to delay things even further! Good luck if your waiting on any prizes!!

We have tried to contact you several times and sometimes hear back but this is now just becoming a bit unfair to be honest and don't know any other way to recieve communication!
You offer some amazing prizes but ultimately they need to be kept to at least a month turnaround and if they can't alternatives need to be discussed.

Poor communication and long wait times for prizes
I should start off with this company has sent me prizes in the past, some of these prizes took a few months and some back and forth emails before they were sent. However I have been waiting over four months now on some of my prizes specifically two main wins of the warhammer supplies competitions. I have reached out via email and Facebook. When they did reply they informed me they are waiting on suppliers and would hopefully send out prizes the following week this was on the 31st of May, they never gave specifics on what items would be sent and haven't responded to any of my emails or instant messages for over a month now. It's a shame as they seemed like a good company, if they would be more honest about the delays it would probably go a long way to improving their growing negative reviews. If they ever send me my remaining prizes I'll update my review.
Update: I had an email from the owner Rob on the 14th July saying that he has carried out training so that this won't happen in the future and that my prizes have been passed on to a new supplier with top priority. He also said he should have updates the following week but I have not had any communications since even though I have asked for an update on multiple occasions. It's been almost two weeks now since this email and I seem to still be no closer to my prizes.
Update:
The latest automated email to a request I sent says to email resolutions instead of admin. I hope this new email address will help me and others get their prizes.

I'll believe it when I see it but looks like no one will be getting prizes this month.

Still no prizes, reaching the end of the period they said they would start to send me my prizes and nothing. When I emailed the resolutions email I get "I am not currently in work - Please contact admin" so not sure if the guy that is dealing with this no longer works for the company or if he's out of office but this is the second email I've sent with this response and haven't had any follow ups to the resolution email or the admin email.

I emailed and got a response of "Collector Comps is no longer trading. This email address is no longer in use.
Insolvency Practitioners are in the process of being appointed. Any creditors will be contacted in due course.

Nearly a month since I won with no further information on my prize
Won on the 29th May and still haven't received any shipping information or when it would be sent by. Have messaged but get slow responses. They have said they will look into it around 2 weeks ago, nothing since. I have tried to message them again on insta, Facebook and email and they have stopped responding.
Update: was given £20 site credit for the delay and finally received the prize on 19/07/24. Communication only improved following the bad review.

Edit- I did eventually get the prize money after this review went live surprise surprise but still wont be using them again.
I won a painting supplies raffle and on the same day asked if I could receive the cash alternative instead, took them about a week to reply saying the amount of the cash or credit I could receive. I replied asking for the cash option l, that was about two weeks ago and I haven't heard anything since and I've contacted them via email, Instagram and messenger multiple times and haven't heard anything still.
I've used other raffle sites and worst I've had to wait is about 3 days for someone to contact me. Three weeks of me constantly having to chase them and still nothing, is pretty damn poor.

Took a little while to receive winning items but was kept up to date with tracking details, after having a quick back and forth via Facebook all items received quickly defiantly quicker contacting via messenger than email
