I have had a very good experience with College and County. They are always friendly and helpful and find tenants quickly. They have just obtained a five-year HMO license for my premises at minimal trouble to myself. I would recommend them.

Perfect letting agents
My partner and I rented a property with College and County in Oxford. Throughout the whole year College and County were very supportive, attentive, proactive and very prompt to respond. They actively helped us through any queries or difficulties we had and were always very pleasant to lovely. Our property manager Tabitha Tyrrell was especially helpful and lovely, and made our experience very enjoyable and easy. Thank you!

Friendly and helpful agents :)
As students we were worried we would be exploited as there are so many bad stories! Yet I do not have a bad word about college and county, they have helped us with everything we have needed, replied to emails fast and equipped us well! Definitely recommend going with them :)

Professional, engaged and helpful Lettings agent
We have been trying to find a flat for our daughter for when she starts uni in September and were really frustrated by the service we got from local agents until I started to speak to Lewis at College and Country. We live in Somerset so Oxford is several hours away which makes it really hard to do viewings made even more complicated with Covid restrictions. Lewis has been so helpful and coped with delays due to travel and has answered all our questions & helped us secure a new home for her as she starts out on the next part of her journey. Thanks for all your help Lewis, I will recommend you to everyone!

STAY AWAY
I can only corroborate the comment made earlier by Vittoria, and I'm only giving one star because I can't give zero star. At the end of my tenancy, they also gave my deposit back to my flatmate despite me asking them not to. In spite of Vittoria's example where she lost a lot of money, the agency maintain a head tenant policy that is not mandatory. TDS can pay the deposit back to each tenant separately so there is no reason why this letting agency can't. What is more is that at the signing, the agency did not specifically/properly explain me what the head tenant role entailed. Vittoria's feedback confirms that the agency do know people may loose money because of the 'head tenant' clause but do nothing to prevent this from happening or protect all tenants. In my case they did not even update the TDS deposit information to add my name on it and did not serve me the prescribed information either. Yet when I asked about it they claimed to have done everything in line with the law until I brought in a lawyer. As Vittoria said, STAY AWAY, especially if you are a tenant looking to enter a joint tenancy.
Response to the MD's feedback: I really had no outstanding utility bills/dispute that I knew of, and I am not sure what this has to do with you giving the deposit back to tenants separately. I did have a co-tenant similar to that of VITTORIA and that was not new to you / your team. But you decided not to care about it and gave that person my money against my will - the problem is as simple as that. Would love to hear your feedback about why your team urged me not to bring in a lawyer, claiming they did everything right until I actually brought in a lawyer. Interesting to see you mentioning 'genuine' problems, as if mine and that of the previous tenant (VITTORIA) were not genuine problems. You may manage over 1000 tenancies across the group, but the data shows that I am not the only one having that issue and you ignore it. I had to bring in a lawyer to be able to recoup my money. Please note that I am not finally writing this for me personally as I got my money back (Thanks to the lawyer), just want to share my experience for future tenants especially those looking to enter a joint tenancy. To Vittoria you said it was because she did not flag any issue early in the process, I did flag the issue early enough but you still did nothing!! Hope you take this more seriously for future joint tenancies

Great experience!
Great experience! I needed to move in at short notice and the team, Danielle in particular, were brilliant at getting everything sorted in time and helping clarify any issues that I had. First time renting through an agency and I really expected it to be much more of a headache, but it was incredibly easy.

Best agency in Oxford
I have been renting for many years, College and County have been by far the best agency I have used both in Oxford and in the UK. The property manager Tabitha was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my 2 year tenancy, really making me feel at home in the property.

College & County are the best
College & County are the best
We have used College & County’s letting department for around 10 years for our four Oxford properties. They have always given us outstanding service, often going well beyond the call of duty. All their staff are courteous and extremely helpful. We are currently considering using their full management service and have no doubt they will provide a similarly excellent and professional service. We have no hesitation in recommending this company

I am very impressed by College and County
I changed to College and County because my previous agents were not vetting my tenants sufficiently and had appalling back office service dealing with leases.
College and County have given me a very professional service and found excellent tenants for all my properties. They are a very proactive agency, efficient and personable.
Their marketing is good: photography and property descriptions excellent, viewings and feed backs great.
They keep me up to date with any legislation that may affect me.
I am particularly impressed with the extremely comprehensive lease documents they produce and their attention to detail where a specific additional clause is appropriate for each individual property.
They are a great lettings team, their professional fees are reasonable and they know the lettings market inside out.

Great estate agents!
My partner and I recently moved to Oxford and the team at College and County were great from the start! They showed us round the property on a Saturday and had us moved in 10 days later.
They left us a lovely move in note and have been really responsive about a faulty appliance in the property.
Special thanks to Lewis and Tabitha for being really helpful and friendly! We will definitely be using their services again!!

College and County were wonderful
College and County were wonderful.
They helped me to find a property during the Covid lockdown and made the process smooth and easy. All of the paperwork was able to be done online. They and the landlords went above and beyond to help me to settle in by helping with furnishing and utilities. They were friendly and quick to reply throughout the year in response to any issues. I would definitely use College and County next time I need to rent or rent out my property.
