4 stars as I am still working through the course but I am really enjoying it and I'm impressed by the in-depth content.

My tutor Justine helped me throughout my course and the course was very informative, modern and covered all aspects of copywriting.
I did the proofreading and editing…
I did the proofreading and editing course, and I cannot recommend it enough. The course is completely self-taught, but that doesn't mean you feel like you're on your own. I felt very supported and the course was so easy to follow that I didn't need too much guidance. My tutor, Shuna, was incredible. Her feedback was insightful and really speedy. I often would get feedback for my assignments the day after I posted them. Having this diploma has boosted my CV and my confidence in my professional writing.
I completed this course in around 4 weeks, but it's very flexible, and you can take as much or as little time as you require.
Blog with your heart and soul
I thought I knew all there was to know about blogging, but doing this blogging course has taught me that you never stop learning in life. Some of my skills it pleasingly refreshed, such as SEO blog writing. However, it was my growth and the development as a blogger, that was undoubtedly the most pleasing aspect.
The assignment tasks were always interesting and engaging. My tutor Justine was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Indeed, her feedback was constructive, helpful, and supportive throughout.
I guess my best bit of advice if choosing to do this course, is to always put your heart and soul into it. If you do, then I am sure you too will fully reap the rewards. Doing this course was an immensely gratifying experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Fantastic college, course and content
The college has gone above and beyond in many ways. After a few emails, a personal call was made and lots of options were discussed and questions answered I was so excited to start the course. Now that I’ve started it I’m thoroughly enjoying it, it is so informative and very well put together. Once I’ve finished the course I’m currently doing, I will be definitely be signing up for another course with the college. I recommend the college to anyone.

I have now completed four courses with CMP. All have been very well structured, with fantastic support from very knowledgeable tutors.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CMP to anyone considering either starting a career in the industry, or using it as ongoing CPD (I’ve done both.) Very good quality and very good value.

I enrolled on the social media marketing course, and so far it's going well. I don't have deadlines so I can take my time and work through the course. I have a helpful tutor too. The course materials are to the point, they include theory, videos and articles etc. My assignments could be a quiz or a scenario that requires me to implement the skills needed for a job in the field. Everything is job related.
Copywriting Course by the CPM
I recently completed the Copywriting Course offered by the College of Media and Publishing, and I highly recommend studying with them. As a mother with young children and many family and work obligations, I found the flexibility of their courses to be invaluable. I could work around my own schedule, progressing at my own pace without the pressure of strict deadlines.
I also love that you can study from anywhere in the world. Although I live in Spain, both the College and my tutor, Lucy, were always just a click away. The course itself was both comprehensive and detailed. I especially enjoyed the written assignments, which pushed me to explore a wide range of writing styles and topics, including social media content.
My tutor was prompt in grading my work and provided feedback that was not only constructive but also encouraging. Overall, my experience with CMP was extremely positive, and I wouldn't hesitate to sign up for another course with them in the future.
Brilliant course
I have just completed my course with CMP and the whole process was brilliant. The tutors are great (Julian was super quick to grade my work and give relevant, useable feedback) and the lessons are easy to digest with assignments that directly correlate with the topics covered. Thank you!
Bringing proofreading to life
When I embarked on my dream to become a proofreader, I researched various organisations and chose College of Media and Publishing. I am so glad I did, as the course has surpassed all my expectations.
The material is thorough, but is broken down into several sections, making it simple to follow and understand. In addition, the support I received from my tutor, Julian was outstanding. Whilst there is a 3 working day turnaround for assignments to be marked, Julian responded within twenty-four hours every time.
If you are simply looking to learn more about proofreading and copy-editing, want to improve existing skills, or are planning to go freelance, look no further.
Above and Beyond
The course was well-constructed and I learned more than I expected. I anticipated waiting for several days to receive my grade for each assignment, before I could move on to the next one, and this would have been acceptable. However, my tutor, Shuna Meade, went above and beyond, marking and returning my graded assignment by the end of the day in most instances, providing me with useful feedback, and happy to answer any queries I had on the assignments or the course in general.

Excellent material and great support when it's needed
Would do it again in a heartbeat :)
It took me a while to finish this course only because I was doing it between fixed-term contracts, and in the evenings and on weekends. Also because each task is designed to really make you think about everything you have learnt in each lesson.
I really loved doing this course. I think each task was a really great test but also a fantastic way to unleash a bit of creativity. I really did put 110% into the course but genuinely felt like it was worth it. I would recommend this course to anyone with a passion for writing.
I would also like to shout out to Justine my course tutor as she always gave great feedback and shared good constructive comments when I had areas to work on. She was also very quick at marking my assignments.

Excellent course with clear content and useful assignments. My tutor, Shuna, was very supportive and responsive, providing excellent feedback on my work, and answering any queries I had.
I now feel ready to venture into the world of proofreading, equipped with my CMP Diploma, and the ongoing support from CMP.
RUN!! Stay Away From The College Of Media And Publishing! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!!
I Would Not Recommend The College Of Media And Publishing.
I Hold a QQI Level 6 In Managing People and my experience with this organization has been less than poor
It was so bad that when I spoke out about it, they flagged my review, in what would appear to be an attempt to prevent others from seeing it.
They caused me havoc from the outset! I hold a QQI Level 6 in Managing People and I can assure everyone reading this " College " is not fit for purpose intended.
Key Points:
. Signing Up
When I was signing up there was multiple problems with the payment not going through, which then resulted in lengthy e-mails going back and forth and the person responding gave me the impression that the Organization was being run by one person as the same person always replied and hadn't a clue what they were doing.
recently while doing a Course Assignment, when getting feedback from a Tutor he said
TUTOR:
In an e-mail just days prior to the below remarks this Tutor said to me that there was something in the recording I sent over for assessment that he was unsure about and I had replied to him
" No problem, once you are sure about whatever it is you are referring to please revert back to me, or if I can be of any assistance to you prior don't hesitate to let me know, otherwise I look forward to hearing from you in due course."
Then I got this message in the inbox in the learning area of their site
" In your first recording, it appears that you 'voiced' the contributor and in the second I suspect you used some kind of AI or automated speech tool,
I shared your recordings with the college office and the team there reached the same conclusion. ".
I was offended that they had shared with me prior via e-mail that he had a concern about something about my recording, and I gave him the opportunity to ask me for clarification, but instead he decided to in his own words speak to the people in the office about it who he said reached the same conclusion, which I believe questioned my integrity in the context of the matter.
I then responded to him and told him I was concerned in the way he went about it, I 100% understand that it's the Tutor's job to critique the work, and I am completely ok with that and welcome critique as that's how you learn, but this was not critique it was in my view someone who assumed I was cheating without asking, but instead chose to speak to the people in the office instead of seeking clarification from me at first opportunity.
Because I voiced my concerns about this with the Tutor directly, I got a nasty e-mail passive aggressive from one of the founders who was highly unprofessional - Who made it impossible for me to continue the course, so after completing several assignments and getting an A on one of them at the start, I now have had to Quit the course as they made my position in the course untenable!
One of the founding members then Suspended my course, allowing all my hard work to go down the drain all because I didn't want my integrity questioned.
Also take this into careful consideration - In one of the Assignments they it said clearly " Find two different news stories " and I done this exactly the way they asked then one of the founders said in their e-mail to me " you appear to have breached our Plagiarism policy by presenting a script copied and pasted from a particular website "
They asked me to " FIND " two news stories in the assignment, that's what I done I found them, they didn't say you must write them yourself specifically word for word, Finding stories and making stories up are very different requirements, then they appeared to accuse me of Plagiarism despite the fact that the information provided to them was for demonstration purposes only!
The irony of it is, they told me in their instructions to FIND stories, not make them up, it would appear that anyone who would be unprofessional would only breach their own Plagiarism Policy by asking me to FIND the stories, then appeared to pin it on me! Think about how ironic that is!!
Do yourself a favour, take sound advice from a Man of great integrity who holds a QQI Level 6 in Managing People, and find a better organization to do this course, they're not the only fish in the sea, this same course is available from other providers, so don't subject yourself to the unprofessional behavior that I was subject to and skip this company and save time and money and go to a trusted place.
There was no common courtesy from the outset and the fact that they flagged my review has not only reinforced it because if one has nothing to hide, one would not flag the review.
I would NOT Recommend The College Of Media And Publishing, I feel I was treated beyond unfair, it would appear that unfounded assumptions that was made about me that were untrue led to my course being suspended for no good reason. That's the 100% truth! Avoid this company!!!!!!!!!!

Creative Writing - Highly Recommended
The creative writing class was an outstanding experience that covered multiple aspects of creative expression, from poetry and personal essays to fiction and reflective writing. The lesson material was thorough, well-structured, and engaging, offering valuable insights into different writing styles, techniques, and approaches. Each module encouraged exploration and creativity, making the learning process both enjoyable and instructive.
The assignments were particularly inspiring, pushing me to experiment with different forms of writing and step outside my comfort zone. Whether it was crafting a compelling short piece, refining descriptive language, or exploring the rhythm of poetry, each task provided a meaningful opportunity to develop my skills. The variety of exercises made the class dynamic and enjoyable.
A key strength of the course was the tutor’s feedback. Always respectful and encouraging, the critiques offered helpful tips and practical advice that enhanced my writing. The constructive suggestions allowed me to refine my work while maintaining my unique voice and style.
The online platform was easy to navigate, making participation smooth and accessible. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their creative writing skills across multiple formats. It’s an excellent opportunity to explore different writing outlets in a supportive and engaging environment.
I believe you are never too old to learn new skills.
I decided to complete the CMP Proofreading and editing course as I was retiring from my job as a college lecturer. In my retirement, I would like to write a book about local history. Completing this course has given me skills that I will use extensively in my writing for my book and designing a website.
The course format and each module's content is excellent and well thought out.
I believe you are never too old to learn new skills.
Great course and Tutor.
Great course, great tutor - Shuna was helpful and encouraging. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to gain skills in editing and proofreading.

The teacher is still taking too long to mark the assignments. I resubmitted my assignment when he told me but I HAD TO ask him to mark my assignment. If i hadn´t texted him I would still be waiting for a mark. I dont think it is fair that I have to remind the teacher to mark my assignments. I´m sure he has a lot of students, I know I´m not the only one. But it is about to be a month since I uploaded my assignment. I wish I could get my money back
