The friendly nurse saved the day

I booked a departure rapid PCR test from Stansted airport in February 2022. The booking process and the email communication was smooth and trouble-free. I had a minor issue and I received a prompt response from their customer services which addressed it. As to my experience of being tested at the airport that was mixed. I had to approach a lady at the front of the testing area who was not especially interested in me and far more interested in the security guard from the airport who was leaning/slouching on the desk while checking his mobile phone and chatting to her. This did not give a professional impression. Once I had her attention she directed me to another member of staff who seemed equally lacking in interest but had no security guard to distract her. Then I was passed onto the nurse who actually administered the test. I think she was from West Africa and she was friendly, professional and very funny. In the end we were joking about a t-bone steak that I was looking forward to for my evening meal. She totally redeemed the experience for me and I do hope she enjoyed her evening meal.

BIG SHOUT OUT TO MANCHESTER AIRPORT TEST CENTRE!!!

Big shout out to the staff at Manchester Airport Railway station. Especially Lindsay, Debbie & Dipti. So professional, pleasant and very helpful when we arrived late Wed evening on 26 April. They were about to close but rushed my friend Dorothy through the test and stayed until the results email arrived. If it wasn't for you girls I wouldn't be writing this from sunny Florida!!! Thanks again.

Do not use Collinson they will loose…

Do not use Collinson they will loose your test and you will miss your flight. i was lucky i took 2 test as a backup one with Collinson and one with Randox alot better. i did not get any results from Collinson not even when i arrived to my destination. if i left and just used this company i would of loss my £1300 flight. very bad no phone number to chase they are over priced at £100 premium which they loosed. i think they are a scam. they also rejected a refund until i emailed them and threaten to give them a bad review on trust pilot. never again

Wow...

We used Collinson at Luton Airport - the two stars are for it being easy to find and quick. We had the results within about 30 minutes.

Unfortunately the staff made the experience more awkward than it should have been - so incredibly rude. The staff at the reception area seemed half asleep (or very sad). My tester actually told me off when I didn't hear her calling after me. I apologised, but she (quite aggressively) persisted with "why were you ignoring me when I was calling you? Do you not want the test? Do you have a problem with me?". The person who tested my mother said nothing at all and thrust the swab quote forcefully up her nostril. It was all very strange and unpleasant...

Hopefully we won't need these tests for much longer, but I will certainly be avoiding this company in the meantime.

Booked a test

Booked a test, obviously paid for it.
But received no email confirmation. So when I contact them, I have no booking reference and they can’t seem to find my email address.
No help whatsoever, and test may as well go in the bin. Not at all impressed.
Will use qured instead, as that worked fine last time…

This is about the APH Gatwick site who are GREAT

This is about the APH Gatwick site. Would go as far as to say WE WILL MISS YOU (a professionally performed test is ALWAYS better). We've had regular tests with them since Sept 2021, whole family including grandad with Alzheimer's (and this is a CHALLENGE), and me flying weekly short haul, so had plenty of opportunity to judge. Everyone friendly, SMILING (judging by the eyes, as masked), happy to see you. IN CONTRAST TO THREE OTHER local providers. everyone PROFESSIONAL, CALM and HELPFUL from the reception staff to the nurses doing the test. Hope your owners know how good you are.

Collinson is a scam

Collinson is a scam. We made 4 tests for our family at London City Airport on arrival during the Christmas holidays. The staff and the process of testing went fine and smooth. Results for 2 out of 4 arrived via email in time. We never received the 2 other tests. Despite following up with Collinson on the phone they insist that they have the results and it was issued on time. They would send again. They never did. Our Christmas holidays now over we still received nothing. We called again asking for the 2 missing results and/or proof that they have sent the results to us within the 48 hours. Nothing. Several email follow ups. Nothing from Collinson besides the automated “we are glad we have resolved your problem” email which makes the situation even more infuriating. We are now asking for a refund because clearly Collinson cannot provide the result and most likely didn’t even process the tests. Their helpdesk is not very helpful - you cannot reach them by phone, only email - easier to ignore their customers that way. The number they provide on the website can’t/won’t help you out. It’s a scam - they are hoping to get away with doing half the job and collecting the cash during this pandemic. DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT A RESULT ON TIME AND PEACE OF MIND.

Excellent experience!!!

Excellent! Booked first time for Day 2 PCR test but had to cancel. Went on their website to request a refund! And got my refund within 10 days, no quibble! The only testing company that I know that offers refund.
Booked a LF test to Paris, went to St Pancreas station walk in centre. It was a breeze, no line. Professional and pleasant staff!
With a discount code you can get a better deal too! All in all, excellent experience!!!

Day 2 Premium PCR

I bought a Day 2 Premium PCR Fully Vaccinated for whole family (3 tests) we all got tested around 9:35 am and results were supposed to be on the same day. Results did not came on time and only thing I did receive is one E-mail, saying that results of one of the samples has return with inconclusive results. I got in contact with them they were not able to tell me which test results were inconclusive or what is the situation with other two tests and why results did not came for other two tests. I used same E-mail address for all three tests and receive E-mail was generic so impossible to know which test is this, leaving the whole family locked at home for extra day.
Results finally did came on the second day. I have requested a refund, as a premium service is not provided they should give me back a extra money paid to get results on the same day. So far it has been 3 days without their replay.

I have received a full refund it took some time to process it but it came trough.

SCAM COMPANY “DO NOT USE”

Scam company. Don’t know how the Government approved them!!! Booked test through Manchester Airport website, which diverts you to theirs. I have been trying to get in touch with these people for over 14 days now as wanted to cancel the tests. They have never replied to What’s app, email or chat box. I will be making a claim through credit card, reporting to police as cyber fraud and on government website. It is disgusting that they are authorised by the government but can then defraud the public.

no issues whatsoever- booked 4 antigen…

no issues whatsoever- booked 4 antigen test- arrived as stated within 4 days- supervised tests completed with a lovely lady called Catherine- well explained and completed the kids first and then my wife and I. Was told travel certificates would take 1 to 2 hours yet got them back within 10 minutes. Overall excellent experience and I would recommend. Laurence et al

In forty years of business I have never come across such appalling customer service, DO NOT GIVE THIS company your business

Pre-travel PCR test result didn't arrive until after the flight

I have used Collinsons for covid tests several times at their drive through test centre near Gatwick Airport. Previous tests have all gone smoothly with friendly staff and good service. My last test, however, was a disaster. This was a pre-travel test for my flight to Vienna. I took the test on Saturday for my flight on Monday. Collinson promised I would get the results on Sunday evening. Despite three two calls on Monday morning and afternoon, the test results did not arrive until Tuesday morning, long after I had flown. Fortunately I had taken a 'belt and braces' approach getting a booster jab as well as the PCR test. Austria let me in with my booster jab. But had I needed the PCR test they would not have allowed me on the plane. I wonder how many people had similar experiences and maybe could not take their holiday flights.
Maybe Collinson should spend some of their super profits improving their systems.
Collinson have refunded my fees but that would have been little use had I been unable to take my flight

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. Long queues of 2 hours waiting in the cold with a booked appointment. The supervisor was letting grown men jump the queue whilst others are waiting in the cold for 2 hours with younge children. Have been waiting 3 days for our test results when it states 24 hours when booking. Have emailed them with no respons.

Late test results

I recently used Collinson for three walk-in tests after the UK introduced new rules. The results were late back and there was no communication from Collinson for five days. However they did refund our fee without arguing and apologised. In this day and age I consider that an honourable way to behave.

Order 60794 - 20 DAYS LATER STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND!!!

I had to cancel an antigen test and on the 30th of November i received the standard template "amount refunded".
Contacted them in any possible way, totally uneuseful only bot and nobody will reply anyway.
I received then another email confirming my refund and still 20 days later no money reached my account.
Withiut doubt they are the worst provider for test, i have been using others without a single problem or delays.
GIVE ME MU MONEY BACK!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Dishonest
