Although I would like to comment and share my experience wearing the ComfoFeet shoes, I can't. The reason is quite simple. I purchased a pair of ComfoFeet shoes for $79.95 plus $6.95 shipping insurance for a total of $86.90. The shoes I ordered were a men’s size 14; however, the shoes I received were closer to a size 15 or 16. While the package showed a size 50, the shoes were at least two and a half inches (2.5”) longer than my foot (see photos). I
I explained to the Comfofeet representative in full detail that the shoes were not worn and that I only tried them on to see if they fit. They did not fit. Pursuant to ComfoFeet's request, I sent photos of my foot next to and on top of the shoes as well as the size indicated on the shipping bag (size 50). I also explained to the ComfoFeet representative that I did not want to continue buying and returning their shoe products until I finally got the correct size. Aside from the issue of fit, I could not know how the shoes actually feel when walking.
This is where it got interesting and this is what you should know before you purchase a pair of ComfoFeet shoes. The ComfoFeet representative offered to give me a 20% refund ($16.00) and 15% discount on my next purchase. That would result in a cost of $67.95 plus $6.95, or $74.90. The ComfoFeet representative also mentioned there was a “one-time free exchange"; however, that offer only applied if you agreed to purchase/exchange for another pair of shoes. This was, in fact, not an exchange but a ploy to keep you hooked into buying more shoes.
Still, I wanted my full refund ($86.90) and I offered to pay the return shipping. There was no offer of a free Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code.
Here is the best part. In order for me to receive my full refund, I would need to ship the shoes, at my expense, to their distribution center in IJmuiden, the Netherlands. In my research, I learned that the cheapest shipping rate from the United States to IJmuiden, Netherlands, was $358.95,
or if you want FedEx overnight delivery, the cost is $431.55, or about the cost of 5 pairs of shoes. Thanks, but no thanks!!
So, if you decide to purchase a pair of ComfoFeet shoes, and they do not fit or you are not satisfied with the shoes, you can reasonably assume that you will get the same “bait and switch” offer I received. That is, you could take the chance of receiving a 20% refund, which would leave you $69.52 short of your purchase price, or you could get 15% off your next pair.
Finally, I called ComfoFeet’s US-based customer assistance phone number, (262) 405-0808, on five occasions at five different times. Their automated systems tell you, “We are experiencing higher than usual call volumes right now, please contact us at our email… Again, this
is a waste of your time.
Nina has been great! Thank you for your assistance. I love the shoes and can't wait for a size that fits.

My overall experience with Comfofeet was awesome. My order was delivered in a timely manner, unfortunately the shoes were a little tight in the toe area. Fortunately for me Nina with customer support was amazing. She worked with me to find other shoe options that were more my fit. Excellent customer service and would recommend to anyone to this site.

We received the first pair of shoes & my husband loves them.
I ordered 2 pairs of shoes & have yet to receive the second pair. I was charged for both pair.

Can we get the oter pair or a credit for the fee charged.
I found the shoes to be really comfortable and they were a real treat for my feet as soon as I started wearing them.

I would never buy another pair of shoes from them and I don’t suggest anyone ever buying a pair of shoes from them. They do not stick to their promises their return policy I got a pair of shoes put them on. They felt terrible which is OK. my feet are problematic asked for a return and they are giving me so many hoops to jump through till I quit and don’t want to return them. I cannot get them to give me a return yet. It’s been two days and bunches of emails. Don’t trust this company.
I bought a pair of slip-ins but ordered the wrong size. Nina of their support group was very helpful in getting these exchanged for the size. She was very patient and helpful. Definitely recommend Comfofeet.

Initially I ordered an incorrect shoe size. I sent a message to them about my issue and Katherine replied within 2 days. She has been diligently working with me to exchange my shoes with the correct size. Katherine is the most responsive and helpful person I have ever worked with in costormer service.

Using an on-line store can be a risk for sure. I was very concerned when the shoes I ordered were not the correct fit. Of course EU to US size conversions can be tricky, so with my size 14US we have to see how it works out. I loved the look of the shoes, and contacted customer support about the size issues. Nina was very responsive and is working to replace the shoes. This is how e-commerce should operate.
